About: I’ve worked in vet med for 5 years now and I’m a third-year veterinary student. This makes me well prepared to spot and respond to any emergencies your baby may have! I have a cat named Horton and a dog named Reno that crossed the rainbow bridge a few years ago </3 I’m currently in the area on a veterinary externship (what I do when I’m not taking classes), so I have time in the early morning and evenings to care for somebody’s babies that may need it. I care for the babies by making sure they’re fed and feeling well when I see them. I will also just sit and watch from a distance if they’re the kind that don’t prefer a human’s company. Also, I pet them and tell them just how beautiful they are every 10 minutes in the midst of me taking hundreds of pics for the client.

About: I’ve grown up in a home full of dogs, there’s never been a time we didn’t have at least two. Since I was 10, I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities, and over the years, friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me to walk, feed, and care for their dogs like my own. I have experience with dogs of all ages, from puppies to seniors. I’m especially comfortable caring for older or sick dogs, including giving oral medications and providing gentle, patient support when they need it most. I know how much your dog means to you—because I feel the same way about mine. I’m a student at Purdue University studying food science. However, I have a flexible schedule and lots of free time. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or just keeping them company, I’m here to give your dog the love and attention they deserve. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. During drop-in visits or walks, I make sure your dog feels secure, happy, and well cared for in their own familiar space. I follow any instructions you provide closely whether that’s feeding, medications, or routines so your dog stays comfortable and stress-free. I also send photo updates so you can see how your baby is doing while you’re away!

About: I have taken care of my parents senior dog in my home while they were out of town. Helped a former coworker with her dog, also in my home, while she was out of town. I have helped a friend of mine with their senior dog + 4 cats in their home as drop in visits while they were out of town. Since starting Rover, I have had multiple in home stays with dogs, and homes that have both dogs and cats. I work full-time from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. My morning routine includes leaving the house by 7:00 AM to take my child to daycare or school. Before departing, all pets in my care are taken outside, fed, and provided with any necessary medications. Depending on the proximity of your home, I may be available to stop by during my lunch break to check on and care for your pet. After work, I pick up my child from daycare and can typically arrive at your home around 5:00 PM. Upon arrival, dogs will be taken outside promptly and fed as needed. Please feel free to reach out with any questions or to discuss specific care needs or scheduling. I care for pets with the same level of attention and compassion as I do my own. I follow each pet’s individual feeding schedule, ensure they always have access to fresh water, and administer any required medications as directed. Dogs are taken outside regularly for bathroom breaks and exercise, and I make time to play and engage with them to keep them happy and active. For cats, I maintain clean litter boxes in addition to providing consistent feeding, fresh water, and attentive care. I also enjoy offering treats when permitted; my daughter especially loves helping to give treats, making it a fun and positive experience for your pet.

About: Hello! I have been a dog sitter and cat sitter for over a couple years now. I have open days in my calendar due to less work obligations. Looking to fill the time and help out while I can! I am flexible to check on your pet throughout the day. I have a more than flexible work schedule and have the transportation needed to do so. I live on the fourth floor in an apartment building. I am in close proximity to multiple dog parks and walking trails. The area is very safe with many other neighbors having pets as well.

About: I have watched finches, bunnies, cats, fish, dogs, raised puppies, raised a herd of guinea pigs, and love every experience with animals. I am not shy! I’ve successfully trained using crates and will follow whatever routine helps your pup feel secure. Whether it’s a walk, a drop-in, or an overnight stay, you can count on me to give your dog the same love and attention I give my own. 🐾 I work part-time and have a solid routine in place for my own fur babies at home. Mornings usually start with a potty break or walk if needed, followed by breakfast and a quick house check to make sure everything’s safe and tidy before I head out. I often come home on my lunch breaks to let the dogs out again, and I’m usually home between 4 and 5 in the afternoon for another potty break, dinner, and some relaxing downtime together. I’m flexible with feeding and walk times and can easily adjust my schedule to make sure your pet is comfortable, safe, and well cared for. I genuinely enjoy walks and love including them as part of my daily routine! Since I have two dogs of my own, I don’t offer overnight house sitting away from my home, but I’m happy to do drop-in visits and spend quality time with your pets while you’re away. I can come by for walks, playtime with their favorite toy or ball, or even practice basic commands using training treats or a clicker. I can also host them at my house for a stay! When your dog stays with me, they’ll be treated just like family, loved, cared for, and included in daily life. I have a fenced in backyard with plenty of space for running and playing. I do my best to follow the same routines and training methods you use at home, so your pet feels comfortable and confident while in my care. Your dog’s happiness, safety, and sense of routine always come first!

“This experience was wonderful for both my dog and I. I have never left him before and he had a great time. Emily is an awesome dog sitter. She sent me pictures every day. She has two of the sweetest little boys that Augie enjoyed playing with and also a small dog of her own. After the first picture arrived I was able to enjoy my vacation. He was glad to see me but I’m sure he’s going to miss Emily and the boys. I was very happy with her care and will use her again when I need to. I would highly recommend her to keep your dog and feel comfortable about leaving it there.”

About: Growing up on a farm, I’ve loved being around and tending to animals since I was a little girl. I had dogs and cats my whole life (except for right now) and have loved learning to meet their needs! I am a part-time social worker at a local non-profit organization. I am also beginning online grad school to become a therapist. With both of these commitments, I primarily work from home. My weeks are pretty flexible! I live in a home with a fenced backyard and room for pets to play and be active! I currently have no permanent pets here. I am eager to travel to homes to provide company, activity, and care to pets!

About: I’ve always always had a soft spot in my heart for animals. My parents have always had a ton, from a bunch of different breeds of dogs to pigs, to chameleons, to bunnies. I’ve always had experience with animals, it’s odd if I don’t have one around! I have a kitty named Nala and a Cocker Spaniel named Goose. They are my pride and joy! I feel as though pet care is just as important as self care. Animals are there for us, as our support, therefore, they should be taken care of just as well. Making sure that your animal is not only healthy, but happy is a priority to me! Having a routine and making sure that all needs are met is a must. I feel as though your home is also your pets home, therefore, enabling them to have their own space is important. Also, making sure your animal is fed and watered and stimulated and energized plays a large role. Playing with toys or running around in the yard are both great ways of stimulating the brain!
