House of Dogs. No Bones about it.
I have adored dogs since I was seven years old. My best friend for 16 years was a dog named Tony, whom I still miss to this day. I've had a few dogs since then; one Chihuahua named Igor probably saved my life when my husband died in 1996. I stop for all loose dogs, rain or shine, day or night---and I bring them home to hang out with my dog and daughters until we find their humans. I have been with Rover for over sixyears and have loved every minute of it. The hardest part after a long stay is saying good-bye to my new family members. I have a friendly Cava-poo named Parker, who is a one-man welcoming committee for all dogs and humans who come to the house.

Absolutely the best choice we could have made! I was nervous about her being around dogs cause I had never seen her with them but she had her own private area. She got lots of attention and wasn't left alone all day by herself. First time using Rover and I won't use anything else or any other sitter either. Thanks Carrie! You were incredibly accommodating and very sweet.
First time using in home pet sitting and I think this will be the way to go for us. Received several pictures of Nico and he seemed to be enjoying himself and doing well. We are so pleased with Carrie's care of our Nico.

Schedule
My daughter lives with me, so one of us is always home to take good care of the guest dogs. I started with Rover in 2016 and absolutely love it!

I have a fenced-in yard and a very friendly cavapoo named Parker who makes sure all the guests feel safe and welcome. I have dog beds and blankets all over the house to make the guests feel at home.
Pets
A typical day
We play or hang out in the fenced-in back yard and take occasional walks in the neighborhood---when we are not relaxing on the couch. I have two giant baskets of toys and balls for the guests to play with.
