I have adored dogs since I was seven years old. My best friend for 16 years was a dog named Tony, whom I still miss to this day. I've had a few dogs since then; one Chihuahua named Igor probably saved my life when my husband died in 1996. I stop for all loose dogs, rain or shine, day or night---and I bring them home to hang out with my dog and daughters until we find their humans. I have been with Rover for over sixyears and have loved every minute of it. The hardest part after a long stay is saying good-bye to my new family members. I have a friendly Cava-poo named Parker, who is a one-man welcoming committee for all dogs and humans who come to the house.

Carrie and V (Veronica) were wonderful. I have a spoiled little dog and they probably spoiled her more. Sent pictures every day while on my trip which made me feel I made the right decision.
