I have had dogs as pets my whole life (that’s four decades of experience!) I have a service animal named O’Hare who I have assisted in training since he was 5 months old. He is a beautiful black lab, neutered, 65 lbs and 4 years old. We go on 4-to 5 walks a day and play fetch until my arm gets tired! I am a stay-at-home-mama to my 5-year-old daughter and O’Hare (see Experience section :) I am available 24/7 to sit for your fur baby. We live in a quiet neighborhood in Lafayette, IN. We live in a roomy home with a fenced-in backyard. My dog has many doggie friends in our neighborhood that we love meeting at the park for play dates! I walk my lab several times a day; he and my baby LOVE being outdoors! With these two in tow, I can only accept pets that are good with other dogs and children. Thank you for understanding. For inclement weather, I follow the guidelines of local leadership. If churches/schools are closed I will not risk driving in dangerous conditions either! I have a fenced-in yard, a city park close by, lots of options for safe walking around our neighborhood, a fur baby of my own for a companion, if required I have a huge dog crate (the strong plastic kind with a soft blanket inside that’s way more comfy than the metal type!) that I keep inside in the air conditioning on hot summer days OR I can happily come to your home for check-ins if you prefer your fur baby stay in their own known environment.
