5. Shannon N.
“Shannon has been watching my cats for the last 2 years. She is the number 1 person to call when I have to leave my kitties, so they have grown a good relationship with her. I have 1 cat in specific who is afraid of EVERYTHING but even he has gotten used to Shannon & lets her pet him & interact! She always gives me updates & photos, which I love! Besides that she has grown up with VARIOUS animals & shes dog sat multiples of our friends/familys dogs.”

10. Lizbeth C.
About: - Pet ownership experience (walking, safety, behavior) - Volunteer at Fetching Tails rescue (walking and interacting with rescues) - Basic veterinary knowledge (shadowed at Addison Animal Hospital for 3 months) I am home for winter break and am planning on accommodating pet sitting for the holidays. My scheduling is very flexible and looking for local. I have a fenced-in yard and live in a two story house in a quiet suburb with low traffic. Pets will always be under supervision. Walks are quiet and with minimal noise.

11. Zhalih T.
“Zhalih would be an excellent dog walker. She's been a dog parent for 15 years giving her outstanding qualifications. I'm sure her degree in school psychology (her other gig) equips her to match wits with the smartest of pups. Every puppy parent will be able to hand her the leash in complete confidence.”

12. Sarah L.
“Sarah is without a doubt the best possible pet sitter you can hire. Not only does she have an unending love for all things animal, plant, insect etc, she is incredibly organized and diligent on following directions. Every nit-picky thing I put on the instruction sheet was followed to a T and I knew from the way my animals perked up when they saw her that she had given them so much love and attention. In addition to being a trustworthy, kind person she has an incredible work ethic and you can rest assured your pets are in the best possible hands.”

13. Cara V.

“Cara was wonderful to work with! She was super friendly and made sure my dog, Birdie, and I were comfortable with her before the walk. She left me photos and a detailed description of how the walk went. I really appreciated the time and care Cara put towards taking care of my Birdie.”

14. Brandon & Courtney S.

“Brandon and Courtney are absolutely the best! We have a very high energy pup who is currently learning his manners ;) Brandon and Courtney came over ready to learn his cues and they have been absolute life savers for us on long days while we are working or away for an afternoon. We would recommend them over and over again!”

15. Kaylor H.

“Kaylor had filled in for my current walker who had to cancel a walk unexpectedly. I was so appreciative of her quick responses to my messages and of her flexibility. She handled my highly anxious fur-baby very professionally. Can’t wait to use her again in the future!”

16. Briana N.
“Briana use to take care of my pup Maxwell Vaughn. He absolutely loved her. There was never a dull moment. When we would travel from Illinois to Texas she would come to our home and watch him. She is very reliable and trustworthy.”

17. Jaclyn J.

“Thank you so much for walking my boy. He truly loves you! Also thank you for being so accommodating for my last minute request. I really appreciate it. I will hire you again if needed. You’re the best!”

19. Kendall M.
About: I've dog sat for many years. I have had 5 consistent clients who always contact me if they need a sitter. I have a good understanding of animal care and needs as a pre-vet student. In addition I have a good understanding of what is expected when working with pets. I also am a student trainer for service dog organization Paws Giving Independence and have learned lots about dogs from this. Through this program I also fostered a puppy, Sherman, and learned a great deal about puppies and how to train them for basic house manners. I am a pre-vet student at ISU. My classes are not super time consuming currently so I have lots of availability. I am an ISU cheerleader however sports season is over so we no longer have lots of commitments only weekly practice. Lots of experience with kenneling dogs and working on kenneling. I personally have a kennel in my house and am allowed pets in my apartment. Lots of experience with in home pet care and am willing to do whatever is needed whether that is picking up waste, giving medication, baths, anything that is needed!

20. Kylie M.
“Kylie has worked at my veterinary hospital for over two years now. She has shown an ability to learn different task needed to work at the clinic. She has shown a great ability to handle both cats and dogs of varying temperaments. She has been a very reliable and responsible employee to the point we are always saddened when her breaks from college are over and she has to leave the clinic to return to her education. I have no doubt Kylie would be an exceptional worker and would have no issues dealing with the animals. Dr. Kenneth Overmyer Shorewood Animal Hospital LLC”
