About: I believe that pets should be treated like your own family member. Exercise, affection, grooming and good nutrition are all important to a Happy pet. I've had pets all my life, both cats and dogs as well exotic animals. For the past 15 years, I've had friends, family and co-workers seek me out to care for their pets. They trust my ability and love. I can be there at anytime you need me. Thanks for your concentration and I hope to hear from you soon.
About: I have worked at a dog kennel since 2021. I had to do 2 months of training before hand. Friends and neighbors have allowed me to babysit their pets as well. I’ve fed, walked, cuddle, brushed, bathed and given medicine to dogs. I’m currently in college but coming home for summer and winter break. I’m working at the kennel still but want more work hours in the week I will keep an eye on them when they are outside as well as if I need to watch them while they’re eating. I will give them love and play all day with them

I have experience with dogs, cats, guinea pigs, ferrets, rats, mice, chinchillas, hamsters, gerbils, hedgehogs, lizards, and fish! I work as a nurse but still have plenty of time to take care of your beloved pets whether in my home or yours and will give them plenty of attention! I would be able to let out quick in the morning but no walks and can let out in the evening and do a walk. I have a large fenced in back yard for your dog to run and play in. I have two dogs both of whom are laid back and gets along with other dogs. I have the space to be able to set up a crate if needed to crate your dog while I’m away. I am able to let your dogs out in the morning and evening and spend time with them each time as well as feed them. About: I’m an Anthrozoology graduate student who has a passion for understanding the human-animal bond. I am knowledge, compassionate and caring with pet sitting, dog walking and am certified in dog and cat training. I have enjoyed training puppies and adult dogs over the years, and have pet sit for cats, hamsters and ferrets over the years as well. I look forward to meeting your baby! I currently go to school full time online, so pet sitting, training or dog walking will allow me to gain experience in the animal field while attending school and caring for your pets. My schedule is fairly open and flexible. If scheduling conflicts occur, a notification will be sent. I live in a townhouse that is extremely kid friendly and safe for your pets. I only take my dog outside on a leash and she stays indoors for the remainder of the day. I am comfortable in the guardians home, crate training or crating your dog if needed, or letting them play outside or at a dog park, if desired. I love to spend time playing with your pets, regardless of how long I am there. We can chill on the counch and relax or play fetch, and maybe try a few curds and tricks while I’m there!

About: What sets me apart is my real, everyday experience caring for animals. I handle high-energy dogs like my Belgian Malinois, volunteer at shelters, and provide patient, loving, reliable care. Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine with college. I make time to walk, play with, and care for dogs because I genuinely enjoy being around animals and helping with pet sitting. At a client’s home, I care for pets by following their normal routine for feeding, walks, and playtime to keep them comfortable and stress-free. I give plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship, and make sure they feel safe and cared for while their owner is away.

Working a few days a week at a local boarding facility gives me in tune and allows me to gain more experience every day! Keep in mind, I am a full time student at ISU, meaning I will have classes here and there throughout the week, but I am still available plenty throughout the day to care for your fur babies in every way possible! I'll care for your pet as if they were my own by following their normal routine day to day. My goal is to keep them happy, comfortable, and stress free while you're away.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Danvers. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.
For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Danvers.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Danvers. On Rover:
- 100% of walkers can help with special care needs
- 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 95% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
