Did a great job with my 9 month old puppy! For her dog, walking service, took him on a nice walks, and was able to recognize when he was getting tired to give him a break. It was very attentive to his cues. Christina also provided lots of photos and detailed daily updates about how Bubs was doing. I would absolutely let her care for him again!

About: I’ve always been an animal lover since I was little. Throughout college I have done all sorts of pet/house sitting for friends, family, coworkers etc. I have house sat for a family friend that required feeding and watering horses, milking goats, reptile care, rabbit cleaning care, medicating cats/dogs if needed, you name it. I currently have a Corn Snake, a Western Plains Hognose Snake as well as a Crested Gecko. I have been a Veterinary Receptionist for over 5 and a half years now. I was also an Animal Keeper for about a year with native Illinois Wildlife (including black bears, cougars & bobcats). I am currently transitioning to being a Veterinary Assistant so I am gaining new skills weekly! Currently working a max of 30 hours at my day job as a Veterinary Assistant but recently have been working less. Typically I have Sundays and Wednesdays off during the week but sometimes get another random week day off depending on how busy we are at the clinic. My shifts can vary from 8am to 2pm; 8am to 4pm; 9am to 3pm; 9am to 5pm or even 8am to 6:30pm. The earlier I’m off during the day I am able to help after that too. Your home is their home. I will cater to your pet based on what they like or need. If they just need someone to keep them company I’m there. I will treat your space with respect and follow any instructions given. My pets are family and are treated as such so the same would go for your kiddos.

About: I grew up on a farm taking care of all sorts of animals including my dog. I love anything from energetic runners to gentle giants. I'm working online setting my own schedule, so I can make time whenever needed! The only time I'm unavailable would be Sunday mornings. I give lots of love to pets, often choosing to sit on the floor where they can reach me. I'm very careful about watching for animals scratching where they shouldn't be.

This was only my 2nd appointment with Glen. He was on time and Diesel seems to like him. This helps me out so much to have someone walk him on Thursdays. I walk him everyday! Thursdays are difficult as I like to run my errands before the weekend.

Katie is WONDERFUL!! Wags, my overweight beagle (who lets me live there with my cat Top!) is already showing signs of having more energy. When I come home, he is bouncing up and down to meet me. It has been a while since he had this energy; I know it’s ALL because of Katie walking Wags! Besides this, Wag’s loves Katie and didn’t give me a second look when she came for him!!!♥️♥️

About: I love animals and I love exercise, so here I am combining the two. I’m excited to try something new and also help out within my community by providing a healthy and heartwarming service I work Mon through Fri 7A-330P in construction. Some weeks I will have OT and will have to reschedule/ adjust my schedule here but other than that I’m pretty flexible. I prefer waking up early to being out late- but can and will accommodate. My pets are spoiled rotten. Constant truck rides and walks, and you can always find a ball or toy that belongs to the girls(dogs). And endless twig sticks and cardboard boxes inside with some windows equipped with bird feeders for the boys(cats). The girls have all day everyday access to fenced backyard and climate controlled garage included with the best neighbors and then to the comfy couch at night. The boys indulge in a cool environment while not moving much from one spot of the couch. Extras include opened curtain scenic views along with nature noises from the tv.

Weather safety with my animals and continue to due so. My animals have ever shot you can think of and they are on flea and tick prevention and heartgard.

About: Certified Equine Riding Instructor, Trainer, and Equine Massage Therapist. I have been an animal person my entire life. I love pets and understand they are more than pets they are our family members. I have past experience working at a small animal vet clinic that also included boarding. I’ve had many friends, family, and instructors count on me to care for their pets from house sitting, farm sitting, barn management, grooming, walking, boarding, and more. I have been around all kinds of animals and worked on farms most of my life. Very thankful to have the experiences and teachers I have had along the way! Let me know the needs of your fur baby. We can come up with a plan that will suit everyone’s needs. If they like.. I like to play games with them, calm them, and make them feel welcome and comfortable. It can be hard leaving home and I understand that. If your baby has anxiety or you think they might let me know I might have some ideas to try :) I love to communicate with owners, learn about their pets. What they like, dislike, and how to make them as comfortable as possible! I’m currently a college student. I have some spots available between right now between studying and homework. Let me know if I would love to help! In the clients home I follow their schedule and routine as much as possible. I try to keep them updated and keep their fur babies safe, healthy, and happy!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
