About: I’ve always been an animal lover since I was little. Throughout college I have done all sorts of pet/house sitting for friends, family, coworkers etc. I have house sat for a family friend that required feeding and watering horses, milking goats, reptile care, rabbit cleaning care, medicating cats/dogs if needed, you name it. I currently have a Corn Snake, a Western Plains Hognose Snake as well as a Crested Gecko. I have been a Veterinary Receptionist for over 5 and a half years now. I was also an Animal Keeper for about a year with native Illinois Wildlife (including black bears, cougars & bobcats). I am currently transitioning to being a Veterinary Assistant so I am gaining new skills weekly! Currently working a max of 30 hours at my day job as a Veterinary Assistant but recently have been working less. Typically I have Sundays and Wednesdays off during the week but sometimes get another random week day off depending on how busy we are at the clinic. My shifts can vary from 8am to 2pm; 8am to 4pm; 9am to 3pm; 9am to 5pm or even 8am to 6:30pm. The earlier I’m off during the day I am able to help after that too. Your home is their home. I will cater to your pet based on what they like or need. If they just need someone to keep them company I’m there. I will treat your space with respect and follow any instructions given. My pets are family and are treated as such so the same would go for your kiddos.
About: I grew up on a farm taking care of all sorts of animals including my dog. I love anything from energetic runners to gentle giants. I'm working online setting my own schedule, so I can make time whenever needed! The only time I'm unavailable would be Sunday mornings. About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of animals from the age of 11 and up. I have about 10 years of experience pet sitting, walking and training, with all different sizes of dogs, cats and even some horses! I volunteered at taps for about a year and a half. About: I have been in the veterinary/boarding field for about 8 years. So I have experience working with all sorts of animals (different sizes, ages, and behavior). I can administer any medicines comfortably. I have taken care of cats, dogs, rabbits, small pets (Guinea pigs, hamsters, ferrets, etc.), birds, fish, farm animals (goats, chickens, ect.) and frogs. About: i have taken care of several breeds of dogs from the bichon’s to mastiffs! I have a beagle/shar pei mix who is 12 years old and a pit bull who is 2. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
