“Nathan, Jacqueline and their children, along with their "pup" Charlie, were the most welcoming hosts we could have hoped for! Our Levi and Junior are admittedly on the higher-maintainence side and their family took it all in stride. We met with them prior to committing to the hosting in order to make sure the dogs were compatible and to discuss Levi and Jr's needs. It was a very comfortable and easy meeting. We left the initial meeting feeling very comfortable. When the time came to leave our fur babies, Nathan reassured us our pups would be fine. While we were away, we received daily updates with pictures that showed our pups were doing fine and having fun ! The kids took them for walks, and Jr found a new friend in their pup Charlie. When we came to pick them up, they were healthy and happy. It was wonderful to be able to go on vacation knowing Levi and Jr were in good hands. We would definitely recommend Nathan and Jacqueline and their family to host the dogs of friends and family without reservation! If we need to leave our pups again, we would would not hesitate to leave them with Nathan and Jacqueline (if they would agree, if course)! THANK YOU, E. “As a first-time Rover user and a nervous dog mom, I was hesitant to leave Banjo with anyone, especially since we just adopted him from a shelter. However, Jenelle completely exceeded my expectations. She was incredibly thoughtful and even suggested a meet-and-greet before the stay to make sure Banjo would be comfortable. She showed such patience and care with him, especially since he’s a shy and nervous dog. Throughout our trip, Jenelle kept us updated with regular photos and videos, which really helped ease my worries. Banjo came home happy, relaxed, and clearly had the best time with Jenelle and her own dogs. I think he was a little upset that we were taking him home because he had so much fun!! About: I have been around dogs of my own and others for my entire 38 years of life. I grew up with having at least 3 dogs at once, then when out on my own for the last 10+ years, have lived with and spoiled at least 2 dogs at a time. I currently have 2 fur kids of my own, who are very loved and spoiled. That same kind of care would translate to any dogs I care for. I'm currently working part time while studying, so I will have plenty of time for your pups! I work 3 varying days a week currently, from about 9am-5pm. A lot of time is spent at home with my own pups, and that would translate to yours. I have a good sized fenced in yard, and can provide a separate space, crating or whatever is needed between your and my dogs! I also keep the back part of my house separate.

I'm a third year student doctor currently on virtual rotations (studying/working from home) due to coronavirus and I'd love to treat your dog (or other pet) to some treats! I may be in school to treat humans, but I'm comfortable administering medications and I have experience doing so for everything from ferrets to dogs to pigs. “MacKenzie & Jacob own 4 cats (no dogs but they sometimes board them) and clearly love animals. My 2 sibling kittens were born feral on my farm and when Mama disappeared, I had to take them in. Did not intend to keep them but these kitties had different plans. I am in the process of training them to spend more time indoors, and interact with other humans and animals. How lucky that I found MacKenzie on Rover. My kitties had their own space (spare bedroom) where I set up their familiar bedding, litter box, food, scratch post, etc. I started with a 24 hour stay and will prob try a few more days before taking a longer trip later this year. MacKenzie sent me regular updates. One kitty was slightly braver, exploring her surrounding. They both allowed MacKenzie and Jacob to pet them (although they admit they were shaking, which is no surprise) and they ate (not much) and used the litter box, but barely left the bedroom. MacKenzie & Jacob put them in their carriers minutes before I arrived (the cats only slightly resisted they said) and brought them downstairs with all of their belongings & helped me load it all up. I am very much looking forward to having my kitties spend more time with these two wonderful cat sitters - even when I don’t need a sitter - bc I want them to get more human and kitty interaction and I believe MacKenzie and Jacob’s home is the ideal environment. About: I used to volunteer at an animal shelter, and I learned how to attentively take instructions when it came to the care of an animal. I have dealt with dogs and cats that have digestive issues, as well as knowing my way around taking care of (oral) medication. I am also used to dogs or cats that need daily exercise or some that are very energetic and need a lot of attention. Before moving to New Mexico, I had two dogs, and I was always keen on keeping them safe + well taken care of, but most importantly, checking that they were always happy and healthy. About: I have been a dog lover since the day I was born! I have a BSc in Veterinary Technology, have been a US Army Veterinary Technician for 20 years working with Military and Law Enforcement working dogs and have a huge passion for canine enrichment and fitness 🐕❣️ I am a full time student pursuing my Master's in Clinical Care, but don't let that discourage you! I have excellent time management skills, and can very easily balance lifestyle and education. I am also still in the Reserves, meaning one weekend out of each month, I won't be available to hang out with your sweet fur-babies 😭 Otherwise, I am wide available! About: I’ve always been an animal lover since I was little. Throughout college I have done all sorts of pet/house sitting for friends, family, coworkers etc. I have house sat for a family friend that required feeding and watering horses, milking goats, reptile care, rabbit cleaning care, medicating cats/dogs if needed, you name it. I currently have a Corn Snake, a Western Plains Hognose Snake as well as a Crested Gecko. I have been a Veterinary Receptionist for over 5 and a half years now. I was also an Animal Keeper for about a year with native Illinois Wildlife (including black bears, cougars & bobcats). I am currently transitioning to being a Veterinary Assistant so I am gaining new skills weekly! Currently working a max of 30 hours at my day job as a Veterinary Assistant but recently have been working less. Typically I have Sundays and Wednesdays off during the week but sometimes get another random week day off depending on how busy we are at the clinic. My shifts can vary from 8am to 2pm; 8am to 4pm; 9am to 3pm; 9am to 5pm or even 8am to 6:30pm. The earlier I’m off during the day I am able to help after that too. Your home is their home. I will cater to your pet based on what they like or need. If they just need someone to keep them company I’m there. I will treat your space with respect and follow any instructions given. My pets are family and are treated as such so the same would go for your kiddos.
About: I've grown up always having pets in the home. We've always had at least one dog in the house, along with a handful of other types of pets (cats, rats, guinea pigs, even a chinchilla) throughout the years. This has solidified my love for animals of all kinds, and makes me eager to care for and love your pets as if they are my own, if you choose to give me the opportunity to do so :) I am a teacher trying to keep myself busy for the summer! Also great with all types of dogs all breeds, and animals in general. I'm available throughout most times of the night or day. I'm fit and athletic to keep up or work out your dog if need be. I understand the variety and diversity in dog breeds, their energy, and behavior so I can work with them to keep them happy and healthy. About: I’ve taken care of dogs, cats and reptiles. I am a former vet assistant who want to continue working with animals as I have so much love to give. I am currently working full time but I live with multiple people who are willing to help me with boarding. I don’t work all day so I would love to take your pet for walk! I also can do drop ins on my days off which I have 3 days off a week. I also have a partner who is in this with me who loves animals as much. I do have a 8-6 job four days a week for anyone wanting house sitting. I also am able to board reptiles or do house visits for them also. I offer more items like nail trims, baths and anal glands for a low price! I have a privacy fenced in yard with some running space. We have a pool but dogs do not have a way into it. I have 4 dogs and 2 cats. The house stays clean and we are neat freaks and we have an up and downstairs in case of wether safety. I have practiced. Weather safety with my animals and continue to due so. My animals have ever shot you can think of and they are on flea and tick prevention and heartgard.

I'm available all day during the weeks, and after 3pm on the weekends to watch and care for your pet. I currently work part time during the day on the weekends. About: I have been in the veterinary/boarding field for about 8 years. So I have experience working with all sorts of animals (different sizes, ages, and behavior). I can administer any medicines comfortably. I have taken care of cats, dogs, rabbits, small pets (Guinea pigs, hamsters, ferrets, etc.), birds, fish, farm animals (goats, chickens, ect.) and frogs. I am also comfortable doing baths, nail trims, and teeth brushing if interested. I currently have three cats and two chihuahuas. About: I’ve had a dog ever since I was a baby and grew up visiting my grandpa’s farm in the country! My family also had cats, and I had four fish growing up! I love taking care of my family’s dog whether it be walking, exploring, or just cuddling and petting! I have had experience with all types of pets, from super energetic to ones that would sit on the couch all day long if they could! I have experience staying overnight for multiple days if needed with your pets, or dropping in a couple times a day as needed! I also love taking walks!

About: Certified Equine Riding Instructor, Trainer, and Equine Massage Therapist. I have been an animal person my entire life. I love pets and understand they are more than pets they are our family members. I have past experience working at a small animal vet clinic that also included boarding. I’ve had many friends, family, and instructors count on me to care for their pets from house sitting, farm sitting, barn management, grooming, walking, boarding, and more. About: I have been around dogs of my own and others for my entire 38 years of life. I grew up with having at least 3 dogs at once, then when out on my own for the last 10+ years, have lived with and spoiled at least 2 dogs at a time. I currently have 2 fur kids of my own, who are very loved and spoiled. That same kind of care would translate to any dogs I care for. I'm currently working part time while studying, so I will have plenty of time for your pups! I work 3 varying days a week currently, from about 9am-5pm. A lot of time is spent at home with my own pups, and that would translate to yours. I have a good sized fenced in yard, and can provide a separate space, crating or whatever is needed between your and my dogs! I also keep the back part of my house separate.
