“Jana was a perfect dog sitter! She accepted the job on very short notice and arrived early. She really saved the day! She was very gentle and loving with my tiny chihuahua puppy. I loved getting the picture updates. Thank you, Jana!”

“Hannah did a wonderful job with our pups! She came to watch them on really short notice but was prompt, communicative, and took our two big pups on a walk and sent us lots of photos :)”

“Elizabeth was fantastic with our young puppy - kept him on great sleeping and play schedule and was super easy to work and coordinate with! Look forward to having her back soon.”

About: I've helped care for my previous roommate's 60 lb dog for 6 years while living together. This included letting him outside, taking him on walks, feeding him, and giving him medication when needed. I've also watched and cared for several other friends' dogs and cats while they were away. I'm currently working part-time and will have most of the summer off, so my schedule is relatively flexible at the moment. Happy to chat more about it! I will respect and oblige by any rules or boundaries set forth for your pets and within your home. Happy to accommodate and meet you where you're at!

“Our pup loved spending time with Brian! He was easy to schedule and communicate with, and made sure our pup had everything she needed. She has some anxiety and she has been more relaxed after his visits. Will book again!”

“Julia was amazing. This is the first time we had her take care of Duke and she was absolutely a pro at handling Duke. She was communicative, responsible, and most importantly very loving towards Duke and his needs. She kept us in the loop, remembered the little things aside his overall routine, asked for extra information to make sure she could take care of Duke the best way possible. She was extremely respectful of the space and we felt very very comfortable leaving our fur baby in her charge for the two days that we were gone. Her updates on the app were always detailed, her notes were personalized, and always heartwarming, she never missed any detail and made sure Duke didn’t miss us. From the photos it looked like Duke barely noticed that we were gone and had a great time with Julia. Given that Duke is an 80 lbs dog she was amazing at handling and walking Duke given that Duke can at times be a puller but she managed to create a bond with him quickly and settle him into a pace where he got better eventually in the walks. We will try and have her take care of Duke EVERY TIME ( if possible ) when we are not around and if Julia is willing and available. Thank you from the Mitras ❤️”

About: I am an extreme dog lover and grew up having a dog, whom I adored greatly. Since my childhood dog, I have not been able to have a dog of my own, but having a dog in my life —no matter how short the time — always brings me joy. I always make sure that the pets I care for are my number one priority and are well-cared for when they are with me. I have dog sat and cat sat for friends before and throughly enjoy doing so. I've just left the teaching profession to go back to school, this being said, I am free during the day for drop-ins and walks. I aim to provide the care your furry friend needs! I’m currently a part-time grad student and have time during the day to help take care of your dogs: walk them, feed them, play and socialize with your pets! I live in an apartment, but live close to a park and many walking paths near by. If at your home, I will ensure your pet follows the routines you have set for them.

“Sarah was excellent! She was very prompt and thorough in all of her communication leading up to and during the drop-in visit. She took great care of our dog. I highly recommend Sarah!”

“I cannot recommend Samantha highly enough! She took absolutely amazing care of my two cats while I was away. From the moment we first spoke, I could tell she genuinely loves animals and takes her responsibility seriously. Throughout the entire time, she kept me updated with lots of adorable pictures and sweet messages, which made me feel completely at ease. It was clear from the photos and videos that my cats were not only well cared for, but also genuinely happy and comfortable in her presence. She spent quality time playing with them and making sure they had everything they needed. Thank you!!!!”

About: There hasn’t been a time in my life where I didnt have a furry friend by my side. Growing up with pets has taught me how to properly care for & tend to an animal’s needs. I love being able to match the animal’a energy while also ensuring the safety & health of the pet - that is my main priority. I am new to Rover, but I am looking forward to meeting new furry friends in this new community! I work from home on Thursdays & Fridays, and am available most weekends. Also, after work hours on Mondays through Wednesdays are fairly open as well. If I am unavailable, Sophie works 7am-2pm shifts or 2pm-7pm shifts only. Also, Sophie works weekends occasionally, but she is only a short ways away from the apartment! Our rates are the same as well. I live with my partner (Sophie) and we both have grown up with multiple animals in the home. We provide a very caring and welcoming environment for all animals. My partner and I are extremely gentle and attentive, and we find significant importance in building trust with the pets that we come across. I am willing to provide pet care in clients' homes as well as my partner & I’s space -we would love to have a furry friend in our home! Furthermore, I believe it is extremely essential to communicate with owners, and ask as needed to confirm that I am complying with and following the detailed care instructions. My partner & I want the animals to thrive in a stress-free environment. Also, we prioritize safety by keeping our home free of hazards that we know our furry friends can sometimes get a hold of undoubtedly! Additionally, I make sure to leave other’s homes as clean and organized as I found it, treating the environment with the same care and respect I would my own.

From giving medications, to feeding, walking and grooming….i can help with whatever you need I work from home and go on daily walks in the morning so I am able to come in and check on your furry friends or bring them out on a walk I will make sure your pet is comfortable with me and move at their pace. About: I am an active individual who loves caring for animals and spending time with them! I have had two dogs in my life and have always been attentive to their needs. I just graduated from undergrad and will be starting my masters in counseling this fall while working part time, too. I manage my time well! I care for pets in clients home by being respectful of the fact that this is not my house. I am being trusted to care for a pet in someone else’s home and I take that very seriously.

About: As a behavior therapist, I have extensive experience observing and understanding animals’ behavior, which helps me provide thoughtful, individualized care. I’m skilled at reading cues, redirecting play safely, and providing comfort to shy or anxious pets. This background allows me to create a calm, fun, and safe environment, whether your pet needs gentle guidance, interactive play, or just lots of love and attention. Pet care is a regular and meaningful part of my routine. I enjoy spending time with animals daily, whether it’s playing, providing affection, or observing their behavior to ensure they’re happy and comfortable. I’m organized and attentive, so I can easily incorporate walks, feeding, and playtime into my schedule while giving each pet the care and attention they deserve. I prioritize safety, trust, and comfort in every visit. In my home or a client’s home, I make sure the environment is secure and pet-proofed, with doors closed and hazards removed. I follow each pet’s routine carefully, provide plenty of attention and supervision, and use treats or toys to encourage positive behavior. My goal is to create a calm, safe, and happy space where pets feel comfortable and cared for at all times.

“Leanne is such a wonderful sitter for my cat Ellie! She looks after her with so much care and love. I used to feel much more anxious leaving Ellie but now I always know she is in good hands with Leanne.”

About: I am a pediatric speech language pathologist but have been caring for dogs for the past 15 years. I grew up with a cockapoo and have since cared for many of my relatives and friends dogs. I have the most experience with small to medium sized dogs and am excited to get to know you and your pups! I currently work full time but have some more availability for morning and afternoon walks as well as drop in visits in the summertime. I am available for weekend walks if needed as well! *Rover Cards are provided for ALL visits! 🐶 *A Meet&Greet is generally required for all new clients prior to the first visit. I like getting the chance to meet the owners and it gives you the opportunity to meet me as well! *I provide dog walking services just one dog at a time (unless there are several dogs in a household). *Please notify me of any safety or temperament concerns ahead of time.

“Cressida was terrific and I highly recommend her! My three cats loved her and well cared for by her over the course of five days while we were away.
