I follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding, exercise, and playtime, to keep them comfortable and happy. Safety is my priority, so my home is fully pet-proofed with secure spaces for rest and play. I treat every pet like family and ensure they feel loved and secure while you’re away.

“I left my dog with Akiko for 5 nights while I was on vacation. From first contact, Akiko was very friendly and accommodated all of my needs. My dog is an older dog and an only child so he has habits (not being in a crate, sleeping on the couch, etc) and Akiko was fine with it all. Pre-Visit - Akiko came outside to meet Jesse. They made an instant connection and I knew that she would work out. This was my first time ever leaving my dog for any extended period of time. Meeting Akiko for the first time extinguished any doubt or nervousness I was feeling about being away so long. During vacation - Akiko was amazing about sending me updates and pics/videos to let me know how Jesse was doing. I had no doubt in my mind that he was being well cared for. Pick-up - After my vacation, Akiko was very flexible about my coming to pick up Jesse. When I arrived, Akiko had everything packed and ready to going. That was a blessing because I was exhausted after my trip. I just wanted to get back home. :) Overall - I would 1 mil %, definitely recommend Akiko if you are looking to board. 100% top notch service from start to finish. She lives in a very nice home in the Renton Highlands so the environment was perfect. On top of exceptional service, you can't beat her pricing. I am so grateful to have found Akiko and will definitely use her services again when I need to. THANK YOU, AKIKO!!!”

Rainier (where most of the hikes are not dog friendly). She was attentive to my dog and took him on several walks and even to the dog park.
