About: I use empathy to connect with the animals, which allows me to build a bond - that's why there is an angry toothless chihuahua that considers me part of the family even though I'm just a parent's friend. My schedule is very flexible, so I will easily adjust my morning/afternoon/evening to make sure that your fur-child has exceptional care and all the necessary attention I will ensure that all the messes are cleaned up, you'll be informed of anything that might be happening between visits or if anything happens that concerns me. About: Hi all! My name is Veronica. I'm an Amherst College alumna ('17) and current 4th year med student (Dartmouth, Geisel School of Medicine '26). I spent my childhood in rural NY, TN, and VA with my grandparents and our dogs, cats, and parrot. In my household, animals were viewed as family, and were always treated as such. I've been taking care of/loving cats & dogs of all sizes (we have owned a daschund named Mr. Wiggles, an Irish Wolfhound named Hobbs, a collie named Blue, to name a few) and ages (puppies to salt&pepper seniors) since I was 5. My partner and I are also proud cat parents to two bonded, adopted cats (Gaston & Basil). I have cared for several friends', neighbors', and strangers turned clients' cats and dogs while they were away/traveling! I hope to bring the same love, respect, and care to your pet that I show my own when you are not there. No pet is too small, too big, too silly, or too drooly for me! I will be based in New Haven, CT working on my residency application, research, and other personal projects with much free time in the upcoming year (2025-26). I am happy to house-sit your pet in your own home, be a dog-walker, or drop-in to feed/walk/play with your pet. For dog-walking & drop-in services, I would prefer if clients are within a 10-15 minute drive from New Haven, CT, though I will consider each request individually. Unfortunately, I cannot accommodate dogs or cats in my own apartment.

About: I’ve had several large breed dogs since I was a child. I am comfortable handling dogs that pull and are like little tanks. My rottie used to stop and sniff everything, and he set our pace on walks. I’m an adjunct English professor, so I can also help your pets with their college admission essays.I am open all summer, but will be teaching in the evenings this fall. I can’t currently care for your pets in my apartment, because my cats said no, but I will be respectful and careful in your home.

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was 12, from my grandma’s tiny Yorkie to my aunt’s big, goofy pit bull who thought they were the size of a Yorkie.
