About: I came out of the womb a cat lover. Childhood teddy bear? Nope! I only ever had cat plushies as a child. It runs in the family--my grandparents immigrated with their gaggle of white Persians, and when I was 7 I finally got "my" cat to love and care for. Over the years I've learned to take care of cats through all their life stages as they've aged and had to undergo years of grueling cancer treatment. Currently I have 4 cats--hotel rescues--that I share with my sister. I like to talk to your cats while I work remotely on my laptop or read. Yes, every kitty will be told they have the cutest ears ever! I always change water every visit, litter at least once a day, and feed according to your instructions. I will adhere to your chosen diet precisely, no extra treats unless agreed upon (one of my own cats is on a strict diet so I'm immune to their sob-story meows). I will be very careful entering and exiting your home for those escape artist kitties out there. I am personally alcohol/tobacco/drug-free. If you inform me of your allergens/dietary restrictions, I will keep your home environment free of them.

“I cannot say enough good things about Stephanie! She was available last minute to take our Australian shepherd Fig for multiple walks. Fig is high energy and Stephanie made sure to walk her for a full hour - I know she was good and tired afterwards! She sent me lots of updates, pictures and even a video of their walk! Fig also has hip issues we were already aware of - but Stephanie was observant and kind enough to comment about it in case we weren’t! About: I've grown up with and worked with dogs of all sizes- I have personally trained a puppy for Leader Dogs for the Blind who successfully passed and had a successful career with a single handler. I have since shifted to basic training for family/ household pups which range from socialization with people/ other animals, recall, off leash training, and overall engagement. My two German Shepherds (who are memorialized through this app) are alive and well living on the East Coast with their other parent. I miss them more than anything and have turned to caring for others’ fur babies during this transitional move. My housemate has a friendly neutered male Corgi who will share the space for boarding I work from home with a flexible schedule. I average 15k steps daily around parks, trails, and neighborhood. I can adapt desired amount of exercise, engagement, and training depending on desired needs. I ensure all safety precautions are taken to ensure nothing is mistakenly eaten or gotten into. About: I’ve cat, dog, and bird sat in the past! My family has fostered puppies and different dogs. We also have a dog of our own. I LOVE animals. I’m saving for college and I figured why not save by doing something I love!! I have a very open and free schedule currently! Besides working on Saturdays 7-3 pm, I do sometimes pick up shifts during the week, usually mornings. I can change food and water. Provide medication and lots of play!! I will also walk them however much you need. Cats and I can chill for awhile! No worries.

About: Hi there! I’m an experienced former dog owner looking to hang out with dogs but not yet ready to adopt a new dog myself. I used Rover to find sitters of my own in the past and I know the importance of having someone trustworthy and communicative to watch her whenever we had to be away. I'd be happy to provide that trust and care to you! As background, I used to have a sweet pitbull for 7 years before losing her to cancer at 13 years old. As a rescue, she had some behavioral issues like separation anxiety and extreme dog aggression, and eventually some health issues as she got older. As a result, I have experience, patience, and compassion for dogs who might need some extra consideration and I'm confident I can give your dog the attentiveness and care needed. I work full-time but I’m only required to be in the office 2-3 days each week. Outside of those 2-3 days, I am working from home and able to look after a dog or take a break to go for a walk as needed. My home has no children or other animals, so your dog will receive my undivided attention. I have my own small fenced yard and live in a residential area where your dog will get plenty of exercise.
