“So amazing! Very accommodating and attentive and willing to keep in touch with you. I felt very comfortable leaving my dogs, knowing they would be well taken care of.”

About: I volunteered at an animal shelter in NC for 2 years. Mostly walking dogs with a few fosters as well. Experienced with big and small dogs. I have a hybrid work schedule. Work remote Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Typically available on the weekends and love to have a dog to hike with. Unfortunately, unable to have pets in my home due to apartment restrictions. But available to come to your home and provide all care. Experience with reactive dogs.

“We could not have had a better care taker for our two golden retrievers than Angelica! She walked, played, did training games, and gave our girls lots of love and attention. We give Angelica the highest rating and recommendation and will definitely use her again. Two big dogs are a lot of work and she went above and beyond! Thank you so much!”

About: I have been a shelter volunteer for 10 years walking dogs of all sizes and breeds in addition caring for dogs & cats and kittens. CPR and Reiki certified. Also, AKC Certified Canine Good Citizen Evaluator. I have worked at my job for the last 22 yrs, currently remote. I will be available on Rover on my days off, walks and care. I will be available for walks and any care needed at your home. Pet CPR certified and experienced in giving medication if needed and arranged.
About: I have years of experience caring for pets of all ages, from energetic puppies and kittens to senior animals who need a little extra love and patience. I’m comfortable with dogs and cats of any breed or temperament, and my experience extends to exotic pets like geckos too — so no animal is outside my comfort zone. Beyond the basics of feeding and playtime, I’m fully capable of transporting pets to vet or grooming appointments and have experience administering medications, whether oral, topical, or otherwise. Pet owners can trust that their animals are in safe, capable hands with me — no matter what their needs are. I'm currently working with a family as an on call pet/house sitter. I work anywhere from 3 days to 2 weeks, taking care of 2 cats and 2 dogs. I'm available for quick visits or long stays :) I treat every dog's daily routine as a priority, whether in my home or theirs. With the babies I'm currently watching, mornings start with a trip outside to a fenced yard for potty time while I get breakfast and medication ready. From there, we head out for the first of 2-3 walks throughout the day, which often include some playtime like a game of catch. Dinner is served around 6pm, and at night I make sure everyone settles into their crate, giving them lots of goodnight kisses before heading to bed myself. I'm comfortable administering medications and can accommodate a dog's existing schedule to keep things consistent and low-stress for them.
“Olivia has been great with my goldendoodle. She helps my out a few times a week while I am at work. I don’t trust many people with my baby and I trust her! Not only am I happy with her but my girl LOVES her. It is a great feeling knowing that your dog is in good hands. It is such a relief to have found her to help me out.”

About: I treat every pet like family and provide patient, loving, and dependable care. I’m comfortable caring for dogs of different ages and personalities, including puppies who need extra patience, attention, and routine. I’m also attentive to senior dogs and their individual needs. I’m responsible, communicative, and will make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I have a flexible schedule and am available for pet care any day of the week and at various times throughout the day. This is my full time job. I’m able to work with each pet’s individual routine and provide reliable, consistent care when you need it. I provide a safe, clean, and loving environment for every pet in my care. My home is pet-friendly and secure, and I have two friendly dogs who enjoy having furry friends around. I always make sure pets are supervised, comfortable, and given plenty of attention, exercise, and affection. I’m also happy to follow your pet’s normal routine and care instructions to help them feel right at home. ❤️🐾
About: In all my 22 years of life, I have always had a dog and have assisted in feeding, bathing, and walking the dogs I’ve had. I’ve always been an animal person even considered becoming a vet at one point. Whenever I am at someone’s home, you can find me hanging out with their pet wether it’s a dog or cat or even a snake! In addition to walks on ROVER I make and sell custom stickers. Pet stickers are especially popular and my Etsy is ShopMomentsFromMichi I currently have a flexible schedule, please reach out to me a week in advance, so I can fit your pup into that schedule!! I do 20 hours of volunteer work a week and babysit, I plan each weeks work days/ volunteering days about a week in advance and would love to add your precious pet into that mix! I am looking to do dog walking and dropping in! I am open to taking your dog for a leashed walk around the neighborhood or drive them to a fenced in dog park if you’re comfortable with it!! Whenever I walk a dog I always bring myself and the dog water to keep us safe and hydrated.
“Frances did a fantastic job of caring for our cats while we were on vacation. With 3 Rescues inside and 2 TNR's outside, it's not easy to find someone to take that on. Everything went great and she kept us informed with texts & pics after each visit. She made our vacation so much more enjoyable.”
“We are so happy to have found Stephanie to help look after our lil guy. She was very communicative, caring and patient. I feel we can truly rely on her for future pet care and definitely plan to book again.”

About: I grew up with dogs and have pets of my own, so daily care is second nature to me: feeding schedules, potty routines, medications, and knowing when something is off. I have a lot of experience with puppies specifically, including house training, crate training, and reinforcing basic commands so the work you have already put in does not unravel while you are away. I am just as comfortable with shy or high-energy dogs, and I follow whatever routine you have already established rather than imposing my own. I am home most of the day, which means your pet is not waiting hours between check-ins. I build walks and drop-ins around my own pets' routine, so caring for animals is already the rhythm of my day rather than something squeezed in. I keep my bookings limited so each pet gets real attention, and I am flexible on timing for early mornings, midday breaks, and late evening visits. I confirm the schedule with you before the first day and let you know right away if anything needs to shift. In your home, I follow your instructions exactly: same feeding amounts, same doors locked, same spots your pet is and is not allowed. I send photo updates after every visit so you can see how your pet is doing, and I always double-check gates, leashes, and locks before I leave. For walks, I use a secure harness or your preferred equipment and stay on familiar, low-traffic routes. My own home does not have a fenced yard, so dogs are leashed for every potty break and I never leave a dog unattended outside. I also have pets of my own, so I do slow, controlled introductions and give any new dog their own space until everyone is comfortable. I keep water available at all times and know the location of the nearest emergency vet.

About: I’ve had my 16 year old senior cats since I was 7 years old, I have a ton of cat experience but I worked at a doggy daycare shortly so I can take care of dogs as well! I can also administer medication liquid form or pills. I’m also planning on going to Veterinary Technician school because my dream is to work with animals. I’m hoping to get a part time job soon but in the meantime or on my off days I plan to take care of animals. I’m currently not working so I have a lot of time in my schedule to care for dogs and cats while I job search. For taking care of cats my room is safe and can fit a litter box and food/water bowls. I can’t take in dogs because my cats get anxious around dogs , but I am happy to come to my clients home and do an overnight or drop in visits for dogs. I like when owners leave a list of everything for me just so I can make sure their pets have everything they need.

“Sofia is the best! She is so very kind and professional— she took the booking for me last minute when I was in a pinch and went out of her way to accommodate me and my kitty. I felt my cat was so safe and so well cared for in her hands! Thank you Sofia!!”

I have experience in dog watching my family's and friend's dogs and I want to gain more experience. I have a flexible work schedule and can accommodate your pet by dropping in to play, take your dog for a walk, or dog sit. I know what it's like to have a busy and hectic schedule and would love to help you by caring for your pet. I live near trails and like to spend walking them. Your dog will be in responsible hands until you return. I enjoy spending time with puppies as well as senior citizen dogs and every age in between. Please let me know how I can best serve your pet. About: After spending nearly a decade as a nurse, I decided it was time to make a career shift to do what I really love, which is working with animals. I am a full-time pet sitter, bonded & insured. I've been caring for others for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my family home was affectionately known as "the zoo." Dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, fish... you name it, we probably had one. I'm comfortable administering medications, caring for senior pets, and supporting animals with more complex medical needs. My background in healthcare was so valuable in teaching me the importance of empathy, patience and compassionate care, and now I get to share those qualities with each and every animal that I work with. Whether your pet needs a walk, medication, or just a trusted friend while you're away, I'll care for them as if they were my own. I can't wait to meet your furry, feathered, or scaly family members! I am a full-time, professional pet sitter and have open availability to help take care of your pets! Once you have completed a meet & greet, same-day requests are available as well. Every pets has different needs and I will make sure to follow your pets schedule as closely as possible. At the meet and greet we will discuss how frequently your pet needs go potty, have their litter changed, feeding schedules, medication, etc and keep you up-to-date on everything that happened during our visits.

About: I’ve been around dogs and cats my whole life. I’ve done all the chores that come with them. I’ve had a big dog and a little dog almost my entire life. My big dog is now older, so I have to help him with his arthritis. I’ve had to pick up poop, feed them, walk them, and massage him. I don’t have a job currently, so I’m free for anyone’s convenience! Besides when I have to go to the gym, or when im on vacation. I have a fenced yard and a specific place for them to use the bathroom outside, and also have a pee pee pad inside that I switch out twice a day.
“Heather was GREATTTT with my dog. She checked in consistently and responded quickly with no issues. I had no worries about my doggy at all I knew she was in great hands. She paid attention to her very well and updated us through the day. Book her and you’ll see!! 😊”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Monmouth Beach
Maximillian kept us up to date on both our cat and dog throughout his visits with them. We felt very comfortable leaving them with him as we travelled across the world! He will be with them again later this month and we are very happy about it. Highly recommend!!

Jon was fantastic with my two cats, spending even more time with them than agreed upon. Over several visits on a long weekend, he gave them excellent care and lots of play. The sociable one fell for him immediately, and even my nervous girl warmed up over a short time. He’s got great energy and a clear love of animals. Book him today!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
