About: Hi there! My name is Danielle and I'm an actress and court reporting student here in Florida! Growing up, I've always had 6+ dogs at a time and am a huge animal lover. For the past 10 years I've been dogsitting/dogwalking and would love the opportunity to meet and take care of your pup! :) I am pretty flexible for the most part! Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays I have full availability. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Fridays I am available after 7pm for one-off visits. However, I can do overnights any day of the week. I am familiar & comfortable administration medications, or fluids. Before I entered Vetmed, I found my connection to animals, by dogsitting frequently. Not to mention, the handful of pets I’ve had. I have been dogsitting for multiple years, with all different kind of breeds. Being in Vetmed and working in the ER, I have extended knowledge and experience when it comes to taking care and watching your pets. I work full-time Sun-Tue, leaving the rest of the week to care for your pet(s). During my work week I am unavailable to sit pets since I work morning straight to night. But any other day (with enough time ahead planning wise) I am free to watch and love your pet! I care for pets in my home by making sure gates are secured and collars are always on! i live in an apartment so their safety is my number one priority. I do not have a backyard for them to hang, so I go out on multiple walks a day with pets to ensure no accidents happen and that they are getting the chance to go to the bathroom, stretch their legs and keep active.
About: I was raised alongside litters of puppies and my life has revolved around animals ever since. My family consistently had 8-10 dogs in our home, ranging from big dogs like labs or American bulldogs to smaller dogs like French bulldogs or terrier mixes. Since I was in elementary school, I was tasked with feeding, grooming, walking and playing with all of our dogs. As an adult, I've helped my parents out in watching their many dogs (my dad has 12!) when they are out of town and pet-sitting for friends and family. Ferrets are notoriously difficult pets to take care of, so if I can handle them and all their energy & mischief, I think I'm prepared to take care of just about any creature. I have been conscientious, responsible and caring for my own pets and I promise I'll treat yours the same way :) I work 9-5 on a hybrid schedule but, as a manager, I have flexibility in terms of remote work — I can always change my schedule around to accommodate yours! I need advanced notice for overnight bookings, as I commute into the city twice a week. I can always switch my-in office days with enough of a head's up, so please reach out if my current calendar availability doesn't align with yours! We may be able to work something out. Unfortunately, I know the feeling of coming home from a trip and realizing that some little things were unattended to by a friend I'd trusted with my pets: the water fountain was half full, the litter box hadn't been scooped in a few days, their 24/7 bird streaming YouTube video wasn't on (lol). Of course my pets were still fed, but it didn't feel like they were cared for the same way I would have. I promise that won't happen if I am entrusted with your pet. I am very good at noticing and handling those little details, even if you forgot to mention them, because that's what I would want. That said, I am great at following pet-care instructions, and I'll surely feed, walk, play with (and love) your furry friend according to the schedule you set out.

The parrots are allowed to free fly for most of the day, but they will be put away or kept caged when your pets are being boarded. When I am in your home, I cultivate the utmost respect. I try not to disturb or move anything that’s not necessary. I’ll make use of only what’s given to me with regards to caring for your pet, and leave everything else exactly how I found it.

Best possible solution for a doting cat Mom who has a hard time leaving her only young cat for a few days of desperately needed vacation time. The humans (Aiste and Chris) are both warm, welcoming and accommodating - they sent nice updates with photos that put my mind at ease day after day so I could really unwind. They were happy to follow my lead and met me where I was at with communication, and first longer time away jitters.
