Mary and Aaron (along with their two children-Angus and Allison) cared for my dogs as if they were their own. (Allison had a home-made welcome sign posted on the fence for our arrival). The fact that they have ramps was an added benefit for my older dog. I was constantly updated with status reports and photos which demonstrated that my dogs were having the time of their lives (while on vacation). I build walks and drop-ins around my own pets' routine, so caring for animals is already the rhythm of my day rather than something squeezed in. I keep my bookings limited so each pet gets real attention, and I am flexible on timing for early mornings, midday breaks, and late evening visits. I confirm the schedule with you before the first day and let you know right away if anything needs to shift. In your home, I follow your instructions exactly: same feeding amounts, same doors locked, same spots your pet is and is not allowed. I send photo updates after every visit so you can see how your pet is doing, and I always double-check gates, leashes, and locks before I leave. For walks, I use a secure harness or your preferred equipment and stay on familiar, low-traffic routes. My own home does not have a fenced yard, so dogs are leashed for every potty break and I never leave a dog unattended outside. About: Hi my name is Micaela and one thing about me is that I adore animals! I love all animals so very much. I also feel that I work really well with them. I’ve had dogs and cats my entire life. Most of my dogs have been big dogs so I’m pretty good with handling any challenge that’s thrown my way. I’ve had more aggressive and protective dogs as well as laid back dogs and I’ve loved all. I’ve also worked at local shelters in my hometown and felt that that helped me gain more experience working with varying animals. I trained a couple of my dogs from a young age and though I’m not certified I felt that I did a pretty good job. I’m very patient and very genuine. I also watched my dogs whenever my parents would go on business trips which was quite often so I’d say this is the perfect job for me! I’m a college student but have majority of my classes online so my schedule is pretty clear. I love being outdoors and in nature so dog walking is right up my alley. I also love just chilling at home so I have no problem with that as well. I will always be respectful of others space especially if they are allowing me to stay in their home and watch their animals. I would say I’m a pretty neat person and don’t mind cleaning up if anything is needed. Genuinely it makes me happy to help others around the house if necessary. I used to babysit for a while and would always tidy up when I could find the time. I recently moved and now live with my grandparents and mom. We also have a chocolate lab who’s very energetic and loves to play. We have a fenced in yard and a conservation close to our house so there’s plenty of space for the animals. We love having dogs in the house.

About: I've had a love for dogs for as long as I can remember. In college, I fostered over 10 dogs and cats before they found their forever home. About: I have years of experience caring for pets of all ages, from energetic puppies and kittens to senior animals who need a little extra love and patience. I’m comfortable with dogs and cats of any breed or temperament, and my experience extends to exotic pets like geckos too — so no animal is outside my comfort zone. Beyond the basics of feeding and playtime, I’m fully capable of transporting pets to vet or grooming appointments and have experience administering medications, whether oral, topical, or otherwise. Pet owners can trust that their animals are in safe, capable hands with me — no matter what their needs are. I'm currently working with a family as an on call pet/house sitter. I work anywhere from 3 days to 2 weeks, taking care of 2 cats and 2 dogs. I'm available for quick visits or long stays :) I treat every dog's daily routine as a priority, whether in my home or theirs. With the babies I'm currently watching, mornings start with a trip outside to a fenced yard for potty time while I get breakfast and medication ready. From there, we head out for the first of 2-3 walks throughout the day, which often include some playtime like a game of catch. Dinner is served around 6pm, and at night I make sure everyone settles into their crate, giving them lots of goodnight kisses before heading to bed myself. I'm comfortable administering medications and can accommodate a dog's existing schedule to keep things consistent and low-stress for them.

About: I’ve had my 16 year old senior cats since I was 7 years old, I have a ton of cat experience but I worked at a doggy daycare shortly so I can take care of dogs as well! I can also administer medication liquid form or pills. I’m also planning on going to Veterinary Technician school because my dream is to work with animals. I’m hoping to get a part time job soon but in the meantime or on my off days I plan to take care of animals. I’m currently not working so I have a lot of time in my schedule to care for dogs and cats while I job search. For taking care of cats my room is safe and can fit a litter box and food/water bowls. I can’t take in dogs because my cats get anxious around dogs , but I am happy to come to my clients home and do an overnight or drop in visits for dogs. The fact that they have ramps was an added benefit for my older dog.
