I have always loved animals, I graduated college with a bachelor's degree in animal science, and I worked as a veterinary technician throughout my college years. I now work as a science teacher at a local high school, which gives my schedule lots of flexibility in the summer months and around holidays. I have had many pets throughout my life, both dogs and cats. My best boy Mojo crossed over the Rainbow Bridge in March of 2022. My heart is not quite ready to commit to a new pet, but that just means I have more love to give to your animals! I treat my clients' pets as if they were my own, and I take pride in providing excellent service.

Kristy was absolutely amazing! She is wonderful with animals, extremely knowledgeable, and clearly has a natural way with them. I felt completely comfortable leaving my baby in her care and never had to worry about whether she was being well taken care of. Kristy kept me updated and sent lots of pictures, which gave me even more peace of mind. It was obvious from the photos that my little Frenchie was happy, comfortable, and having a great time. Schedule
During the school year my availability is limited to weekdays after 3 p.m. and weekends. My schedule is much more open throughout the summer months and during holiday breaks.

When I am doing drop-in visits and/or walks your animal's comfort and safety are my top priority. You can rest assured that your pet will be well taken care of. I treat them like my own!
A typical day
I like to stick to my client's normal routines as much as possible, especially on the first few visits. However, I am an adventurer at heart, so I do love branching out and exploring the neighborhood as much as possible on our walks. Please let me know if there are any places in particular that your dog likes to explore. When boarding dogs in my home, I like to use various treat puzzles and enrichment toys to keep them entertained. I also enjoy dog training, so your pet may come home having learned some new fun tricks!

- Please let me know what your dog's or cat's typical routine is like. I like to keep things as familiar for my clients as possible. This includes feeding times, favorite toys/games, as well as any friends (or enemies) to look out for on walks in the neighborhood.
