Given my cat needed oral medication, he asked for a demonstration on how to give him the medication to give him in order to ensure he got it delivered correctly. About: I have experience training and caring for dogs and cats. I Specialize in dogs with hearing issues/ deafness. Both of my dogs are graduates of multiple behavioral and obedience classes resulting in our therapy certifications. We visit a multitude of schools, hospitals and other wellness centers. All volunteer work done by my companions and myself is strictly a passion and non profit. I was inspired by a visitation to my grandfather by a golden retriever, when my grandfather was in the hospital for open heart surgery. Seeing my grandfathers reaction to a dog visitation while he was in the hospital was a monumental moment for me that further inspired my passion and drive to work with dogs. I currently work early mornings for a government agency as an officer which gives me a lot of available free time at off times of the day and week. Making me readily available to care for your pets . A fenced yard is a must. My dogs are trained and raised to be curious and outgoing, thus a fence is needed. Although my dogs don’t need a leash, I find it’s necessary to generally have a leash attached. I allow my dogs to be curious, and put there noses where many wouldn’t generally allow. It’s important to always cover your stove switches/ burners with dog safety devices!. But ultimately I strongly believe in allowing your dogs and pets to be curious and open to learning. Dogs and cats alike are much smarter then most realize, and I believe this is there first time living as well.. and deserve the best experiences life has to offer!

About: Hello! I worked at Dogs on The Farms Pet Hotel for almost a year and since leaving continued pet sitting and enjoying being around fur babies! I also used to volunteer at my local animal shelter as a foster parent until I failed and adopted my dog! I am currently a student and only working part time due to my schedule. I am always around and accept most dog sitting and walking gigs I get! I do not bring dogs into my own home due to my own fur baby. I have slept and transported dogs to other house and have been provided with a key. When sleeping at other houses I obey there rules and put blankets in the wash and leave the place as clean as when they left it!
About: Animals have been a big part of my life since I was 10 years old. I grew up with a lot of cats and am currently a cat owner. I spent a lot of time caring for my grandfather's German Shepherds growing up, and later looked after dogs all sizes for the families I worked for as a nanny. Flexible on Wednesdays, Fridays and occasional weekends. I will travel to the city but at an extra cost & travel fee. I am able to watch animals at my house but it is small so I’d rather do over nights at owners place when it comes to multiple dogs. If you have a fenced in yard I’ll play fetch with them and tire them out and give them good scratches and snuggles before I leave. If you do not have a fenced in yard there are plenty of dog parks in the area.
“Carrie was great! Within the first 24 hours of her stay our dog, Gilbert, was sick. She contacted me right away and she took him to the emergency veterinarian care. We appreciated the clear, open lines of communication and frequent updates. She had no problem giving him his medicine and special food. He even slept in bed with her. He is bed hog so that's special. He was very well taken care of. Our house was neat and tidy when we returned home. Would book with Carrie again with no hesitation. She is awesome!”
