About: Animals have been a big part of my life since I was 10 years old. I grew up with a lot of cats and am currently a cat owner. I spent a lot of time caring for my grandfather's German Shepherds growing up, and later looked after dogs all sizes for the families I worked for as a nanny. Flexible on Wednesdays, Fridays and occasional weekends. I will travel to the city but at an extra cost & travel fee. I am able to watch animals at my house but it is small so I’d rather do over nights at owners place when it comes to multiple dogs. If you have a fenced in yard I’ll play fetch with them and tire them out and give them good scratches and snuggles before I leave. If you do not have a fenced in yard there are plenty of dog parks in the area.
“Christina is wonderful!!! Our trip was very last minute and Christina graciously accommodated. Our 3 kitties were well taken care of and Christina even watered my plants for me! The communication was excellent. We will definitely book her again in the future.”

“I felt very secure for my cats being with them. They were very flexible to our cat's needs. They were a pleasure to work with from the very beginning. Lots of wonderful pictures. Our cats enjoyed their time with them and bonded very early, which was quite surprising, which goes to say how warm and friendly Lexi&Prashant are. Will definitely rebook!”

About: I have worked at a doggy daycare since September now. I have had pets my entire life. I currently have a mixed dog and I’ve had a chocolate lab and a Lhasa Apso in the past. I work part-time at a doggy daycare, boarding, and grooming facility, and I recently graduated Monmouth University and am currently at Monmouth to study to be a speech-language pathologist. I wanted to spend even more time with dogs, to help the feeling of missing my own! I am always free and will make time to give your pets all the hugs and love they deserve! I would treat your dog the same I would treat my own. I would love and care for your dog because I would want someone to do the same for mine.

“We are so grateful to Alison for taking such wonderful care of our cats, Wrigley and Shea, while my husband and I were away on vacation. Leaving our pets is never easy, but Alison made it so much easier for us to relax and truly enjoy our time away. From the start, Alison was thoughtful, attentive, and incredibly caring. She paid close attention to all the little details of their routines and made sure they received plenty of love, attention, and playtime. It was clear that she genuinely enjoyed spending time with them, and they were clearly very happy in her care. The daily pictures and updates meant so much to us. Seeing Wrigley and Shea each day, looking happy and comfortable, gave us tremendous peace of mind and made us feel connected to them even while we were away. We couldn’t have asked for a better person to care for our two fur babies. Alison went above and beyond, and we are so thankful for the care and love she gave them. We will absolutely be asking Alison to watch Wrigley and Shea the next time we’re out of town. We highly recommend her! ❤️🐾”

“Melanie was great to work with! Responded quickly and was very understanding and accommodating. I felt very safe leaving my pup with Melanie and look forward to working together moving forward:)”

About: I have spent years caring for dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities, and I genuinely love building trust with every pet I meet. Whether it’s an energetic walk, a calming drop-in visit, or simply making sure your pet feels safe while you’re away, I provide dependable, compassionate care tailored to each animal’s needs. My experience includes volunteering with Friends of Southern Ocean County Animal Shelter and Stafford Veterinary Hospital, where I worked alongside animal care professionals and gained hands-on experience with dogs of different temperaments, medical needs, and backgrounds. Those experiences taught me how to read canine body language, stay calm in stressful situations, and always put an animal’s comfort and safety first. I understand that trusting someone with your pet is a big decision. I’ll treat your dog like family, keep you updated with photos and messages, and make sure they get the attention, exercise, and affection they deserve every visit. My goal is simple: to give you peace of mind and make your pet’s day a little brighter. My schedule is flexible, allowing me to accommodate morning, afternoon, evening, and weekend visits. I do my best to accept last-minute bookings whenever possible and understand that plans can change unexpectedly. Whether your pet needs a quick potty break, a long walk, or a drop-in visit while you’re at work or away, I’m committed to providing reliable, consistent care. My goal is to make scheduling easy and ensure your pet receives the attention and companionship they deserve. I believe pets are happiest in the comfort of their own home, where their routine stays familiar and stress is kept to a minimum. During each visit, I’ll make sure your pet has fresh food and water, plenty of exercise and playtime, bathroom breaks, and, of course, lots of attention and affection. I take the time to understand your pet’s individual personality and routine, whether they prefer a long walk, a game of fetch, or simply a quiet companion. I treat every home with the same respect I would my own and always follow your instructions carefully. My goal is to keep your pet safe, comfortable, and happy while giving you complete peace of mind. You’ll receive regular updates and photos after every visit so you always know how your furry family member is doing.
“Sarah was absolutely wonderful to our two cats. I appreciated all her pictures and updates on how they were doing throughout our trip. Made our honeymoon worry-free knowing they were in great care. The cats were happy and greeted us right away when we got home. Thanks again!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for over 10 years and owned dogs for even longer! I’m familiar with puppies, senior dogs as well as larger dogs! I’m currently looking to add more to my week! I love being around dogs and going for walks. I think it’s a fun way to spend time! Only interested in walking dogs! Love going for long walks and exploring new areas. Love to play fetch with dogs and see them having the best time!

“Maribella is awesome! She is prompt, responds quickly to requests, reliable and all with her polite Southern charm. We are so happy to have found her for our Sherlock, our rescue beagle that has severe separation anxiety—not welcome when living in a condo. Mirabella calmed him down, walked him to relieve his anxiety, so when we arrived home he was happily chomping on a treat. Thanks Maribella for giving us the time to enjoy our beach yoga.”

About: As a lifelong pet owner with years of hands-on experience, I know how much your furry family members mean to you. I specialize in creating a calm, loving environment, especially for dogs and cats who get a little nervous or anxious. Whether it's a leisurely walk or a cozy day of companionship, your pet will feel safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for. I treat every animal like my own, because that's the only way I know how I currently do not work and I would like to use this time to bond with pets and make lasting connections. I enjoy this type of activity and should be open most days of the week. I am meticulous and always follow all directions. I have gotten some pretty thorough briefings on pets before and then glowing reviews afterward. Pets feel safe and comfortable with me and I’m happy to provide extra reassurances to the pet parents as well.
About: I grew up with dogs and have pets of my own, so daily care is second nature to me: feeding schedules, potty routines, medications, and knowing when something is off. I have a lot of experience with puppies specifically, including house training, crate training, and reinforcing basic commands so the work you have already put in does not unravel while you are away. I am just as comfortable with shy or high-energy dogs, and I follow whatever routine you have already established rather than imposing my own. I am home most of the day, which means your pet is not waiting hours between check-ins. I build walks and drop-ins around my own pets' routine, so caring for animals is already the rhythm of my day rather than something squeezed in. I keep my bookings limited so each pet gets real attention, and I am flexible on timing for early mornings, midday breaks, and late evening visits. I confirm the schedule with you before the first day and let you know right away if anything needs to shift. In your home, I follow your instructions exactly: same feeding amounts, same doors locked, same spots your pet is and is not allowed. I send photo updates after every visit so you can see how your pet is doing, and I always double-check gates, leashes, and locks before I leave. For walks, I use a secure harness or your preferred equipment and stay on familiar, low-traffic routes. My own home does not have a fenced yard, so dogs are leashed for every potty break and I never leave a dog unattended outside. I also have pets of my own, so I do slow, controlled introductions and give any new dog their own space until everyone is comfortable. I keep water available at all times and know the location of the nearest emergency vet.
About: I understand that pets are family, and I take that responsibility seriously. I have extensive experience providing in-home pet care, including administering medications, maintaining daily routines, and giving pets the love and attention they deserve while their owners are away. In addition to caring for dogs, I've also cared for gardens and chickens, making me a dependable choice for both your pets and your home. My goal is simple: to give you peace of mind and keep your pets happy, safe, and comfortable. As an elementary school teacher, I have a flexible schedule throughout the year and am especially available during the summer months when I am off from school. This allows me to provide plenty of attention, companionship, walks, and care to your pets. Whether you need daily visits, overnight care, or last-minute help, I am committed to being a dependable resource for you and your furry family members. Your pet's safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. I take the time to learn each pet's routine, personality, and specific needs to ensure they feel secure and well cared for while you're away. I maintain a calm, positive environment, follow all care instructions carefully, and provide regular updates so you can have peace of mind. Whether it's a walk, overnight stay, or drop-in visit, I treat every pet with the same love, patience, and attention I would give my own.
“Caroline did a great job taking care of our cat. She can be a little sassy but Caroline did a great job handling her. She was able to send us photos and updates and answered promptly, which put my mind at ease when we were traveling.”

About: I love dogs and look forward to meeting your loved one! I plan on treating your pup the way I would treat my own, with love! I love getting a chance to hang out with as many dogs as possible. I have experience in dog watching my family's and friend's dogs and I want to gain more experience. I have a flexible work schedule and can accommodate your pet by dropping in to play, take your dog for a walk, or dog sit. I know what it's like to have a busy and hectic schedule and would love to help you by caring for your pet. I live near trails and like to spend walking them. Your dog will be in responsible hands until you return. I enjoy spending time with puppies as well as senior citizen dogs and every age in between. Please let me know how I can best serve your pet. I work on the road and make my own schedule so I can come visit your pet as often as needed! I love the flexibility in my schedule so that I can have multiple passions I have a cat at home but she is very friendly. I also live in Red Bank so can go for walks around town with your dog!
About: I’m on Rover to help you out with any / all your pets needs while you’re away! I work full time as a behaviorist in a public school. I don’t dog train, but I am familiar with any techniques that you may need for your pup! I have 3 dogs and 3 cats of my own. I have experience with all breeds! All mutts and senior pups are welcome. I also have experience administering medication to dogs. All dogs of breeds and age deserve attention and love. I’d love it if you let me love your pets as if they are my own too! Thank you for reading this. I am able to work with the families in terms of what they need. My calendar may not always reflect accurately as my times with my full-time job (human) clients do fluctuate. If it is blocked off it means I am 100% unavailable. I don’t recommend myself in terms of full-on puppy training and 24/7 puppy care due to my schedule but I am versed in the training techniques due to my career. I am available weekends for extra care and staying in your home full time. My pets are well loved and taken care of while I care for others. I will never be able to host in my home, so please consider this! I offer in home care, overnight, daily walks, and check ins. Animals will not be hosted in my home due to a senior dog I have who is on medication. For those reasons, home sitting is only available in terms of long care. I have done walks, trips to stores, parks, yard play, and car trips with fur babies for daily drop ins, walks, or overnight stays!
“Tara was amazing !!! I have a hard time trusting people with my fur babies but upon meeting Tara I was immediately comfortable. She was so sweet , on time, and gave regular updates ! I insisted she didn’t have to clean the litter daily and she still did! I couldn’t recommend her more !!”

Wendy was amazing. She came to walk our little Chloe twice a day for 4 days when we were out of town. She came like clockwork. She was thorough and very caring. She took tons of pics and played with her and took excellent care. I couldn’t have asked for better. I highly recommend Wendy.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
