About: Hi my name is Micaela and one thing about me is that I adore animals! I love all animals so very much. I also feel that I work really well with them. I’ve had dogs and cats my entire life. Most of my dogs have been big dogs so I’m pretty good with handling any challenge that’s thrown my way. I’ve had more aggressive and protective dogs as well as laid back dogs and I’ve loved all. I’ve also worked at local shelters in my hometown and felt that that helped me gain more experience working with varying animals. I trained a couple of my dogs from a young age and though I’m not certified I felt that I did a pretty good job. I’m very patient and very genuine. I also watched my dogs whenever my parents would go on business trips which was quite often so I’d say this is the perfect job for me! I’m a college student but have majority of my classes online so my schedule is pretty clear. I love being outdoors and in nature so dog walking is right up my alley. I also love just chilling at home so I have no problem with that as well. I will always be respectful of others space especially if they are allowing me to stay in their home and watch their animals. I would say I’m a pretty neat person and don’t mind cleaning up if anything is needed. Genuinely it makes me happy to help others around the house if necessary. I used to babysit for a while and would always tidy up when I could find the time. I recently moved and now live with my grandparents and mom. We also have a chocolate lab who’s very energetic and loves to play. We have a fenced in yard and a conservation close to our house so there’s plenty of space for the animals. We love having dogs in the house.

I keep my bookings limited so each pet gets real attention, and I am flexible on timing for early mornings, midday breaks, and late evening visits. I confirm the schedule with you before the first day and let you know right away if anything needs to shift. In your home, I follow your instructions exactly: same feeding amounts, same doors locked, same spots your pet is and is not allowed. I send photo updates after every visit so you can see how your pet is doing, and I always double-check gates, leashes, and locks before I leave. For walks, I use a secure harness or your preferred equipment and stay on familiar, low-traffic routes. My own home does not have a fenced yard, so dogs are leashed for every potty break and I never leave a dog unattended outside. I also have pets of my own, so I do slow, controlled introductions and give any new dog their own space until everyone is comfortable. I keep water available at all times and know the location of the nearest emergency vet.

About: My name Julie Barber and I live in the Oceanport area. I have been a dog owner & lover for many years. Our dogs have brought us a lot of happiness & always considered them as part of the family. After losing our golden/spaniel Chloe to cancer three years ago, I didn't adopt again due to Storm Sandy. So with the move out of my home (after Storm Sandy to lift & rebuild) and living with an 'unknown' timeline, I decided to wait a bit. But when friends and neighbors reached out to me & asked if I would dog-sit, I was happy to help. So this began my love of boarding pets. I'm so glad it did. It felt like a very natural transition fell into my lap! I really do enjoy boarding and caring for my many dog clients* To date I have cared for dozens of lovely dogs and their pet families have been wonderful to meet too. 👍🏼😊🐾

About: I’ve been around dogs and cats my whole life. I’ve done all the chores that come with them. I’ve had a big dog and a little dog almost my entire life. My big dog is now older, so I have to help him with his arthritis. I’ve had to pick up poop, feed them, walk them, and massage him. I don’t have a job currently, so I’m free for anyone’s convenience! Besides when I have to go to the gym, or when im on vacation. I have a fenced yard and a specific place for them to use the bathroom outside, and also have a pee pee pad inside that I switch out twice a day.

I do have a 1 year old female golden retriever who is pet friendly. Because I have fostered several dogs, I am comfortable meeting a new dog and getting to know them through walking or playing in your backyard.
