About: Hi my name is Micaela and one thing about me is that I adore animals! I love all animals so very much. I also feel that I work really well with them. I’ve had dogs and cats my entire life. Most of my dogs have been big dogs so I’m pretty good with handling any challenge that’s thrown my way. I’ve had more aggressive and protective dogs as well as laid back dogs and I’ve loved all. I’ve also worked at local shelters in my hometown and felt that that helped me gain more experience working with varying animals. I trained a couple of my dogs from a young age and though I’m not certified I felt that I did a pretty good job. I’m very patient and very genuine. I also watched my dogs whenever my parents would go on business trips which was quite often so I’d say this is the perfect job for me! I’m a college student but have majority of my classes online so my schedule is pretty clear. I love being outdoors and in nature so dog walking is right up my alley. I also love just chilling at home so I have no problem with that as well. I will always be respectful of others space especially if they are allowing me to stay in their home and watch their animals. I would say I’m a pretty neat person and don’t mind cleaning up if anything is needed. Genuinely it makes me happy to help others around the house if necessary. I used to babysit for a while and would always tidy up when I could find the time. I recently moved and now live with my grandparents and mom. His property is a doggy paradise, with endless fields to explore and so many furry friends to play with. About: In 2025 I decided to go full time and start my own pet care business. I am fully bonded & insured! I love all animals but the anxious ones are really where I shine. I will meet your pet where they’re at. I’m Canine + Feline CPR & first aid certified, I have previous experience from working in a grooming salon (not a groomer though!) and am serious about continuing education— I’ve pursued additional certifications as well as a dog training apprenticeship and continue to do so. For walks, our walk doesn't officially "START" until your dogs paws hit the pavement! Your dog gets the full 30 minutes with no corners cut. This is true for all of my services. About: As a life long dog owner, I know how important it is to have someone else in your circle to care for your pets. I have raised my own lab from a puppy and trained her to be the best house dog she can be! I love to be active and on the go! About: As a shelter volunteer I have cared for and socialized many cats, in addition to taking on 2 medial fosters, a cat that was hit by a car and a kitten that needed care after a leg amputation, both recovered and did find their forever homes. We recently lost our coon/calico girl who thought she was a dog and we have our rescued sweet senior black cat named Riley. Both our cats and dogs travel with us, so I am experienced in all areas of care. Feeding, medication and cleaning litter boxes can also be arranged if you are away for an extended trip.

Since I was in elementary school, I was tasked with feeding, grooming, walking and playing with all of our dogs. As an adult, I've helped my parents out in watching their many dogs (my dad has 12!) when they are out of town and pet-sitting for friends and family. I adopted my own two cats, who I've had since they were kittens, and love them with almost my whole heart - I have two ferrets that take up some space in my heart too. Ferrets are notoriously difficult pets to take care of, so if I can handle them and all their energy & mischief, I think I'm prepared to take care of just about any creature. I have been conscientious, responsible and caring for my own pets and I promise I'll treat yours the same way :) I work 9-5 on a hybrid schedule but, as a manager, I have flexibility in terms of remote work — I can always change my schedule around to accommodate yours! I need advanced notice for overnight bookings, as I commute into the city twice a week. I can always switch my-in office days with enough of a head's up, so please reach out if my current calendar availability doesn't align with yours! We may be able to work something out. Unfortunately, I know the feeling of coming home from a trip and realizing that some little things were unattended to by a friend I'd trusted with my pets: the water fountain was half full, the litter box hadn't been scooped in a few days, their 24/7 bird streaming YouTube video wasn't on (lol). Of course my pets were still fed, but it didn't feel like they were cared for the same way I would have. I promise that won't happen if I am entrusted with your pet. I am very good at noticing and handling those little details, even if you forgot to mention them, because that's what I would want. That said, I am great at following pet-care instructions, and I'll surely feed, walk, play with (and love) your furry friend according to the schedule you set out.
About: I have taken care of dogs my whole life, and pride myself in being able to build strong connections with animals. I volunteer at a rescue and am able to see firsthand how important it is for animals to feel loved at all times I currently work full time and have Fridays and weekends open to spend time with your pets. About: I've had pets in my home all my life and have always helped care for them. Including: dogs, rabbits, rats, lizards, and fish. Dogs have always been my favorite animal and I love caring for them by walking them in interesting places or feeding them, even sleeping with them! I finally got a dog of my own at 15 and for the past several years have walked her weekly. Now I have 2 and have learned to manage them both while walking simultaneously. I try to go on light hiking trails or to parks, switching up the location every time. I am currently free most weekends. On Fridays, I'm free after 2 PM typically, but occasionally my girlfriend will be free, in which case she can take dogs on Friday morning for boarding. Just ask and I'll let you know when I'm available on a particular Friday. In my home, my dogs are well-fed with a healthy diet of kibble twice a day, eggs in the morning, and chicken strips at night. They each get baths once every few weeks. We also always prefer they are never alone for more than a few hours at a time. If we leave even for one night, we make sure we have someone visit them every few hours for feeding and letting out. Otherwise, we make sure they feel as loved as possible with lots of petting and sitting together!
