I also make sure to give plenty of one-on-one attention and playtime, keep the home secure and tidy, and stay alert to any changes in behavior, eating, or energy level. I’m also careful with yard safety, checking that fences and gates are secure before letting a dog out and keeping an eye on them the whole time, rather than assuming a fenced yard means no supervision is needed. About: I've been with my cat my whole life, have loved and cared for him and have loved and taken care of dogs any chance I've gotten since I was young. I promise that whether its dog sitting or even dog walking, your pets needs and comfort will come first and foremost. I'm free all day and then will be out of the house any time between 5-10 on weekdays and 12-6 on saturdays. But outside of that I'll be free. Also when I'm not home I have a roomate who also has alot of experience in taking care of dogs (as he grew up caring for his own and other dogs as well).
