About: I have been helping care for pets since I was a young child. I grew up with pets and pet responsibilities. The love that I have for my pets crosses over to the love that I will bring for your pet. Pet sitting is currently my primary focus. This allows me to have greater flexibility in my schedule and more time to take care of your pets. Great care and concern for your pet is emphasized as well as open communication with you while your pet is in my care. Your concerns are my concerns when it comes to the safety and care of your pets.

About: I’ve been professionally dog walking and taking care of pets for about a year now, but I’ve been around animals my whole life. I honestly just really enjoy being around them and getting to know all their different personalities. I have experience with dogs, cats, and even small pets like rats. I do walks, drop-in visits, feeding, playtime, overnight stays, and just making sure your pets are happy and comfortable while you’re away. I’m comfortable with pets of all sizes and energy levels, whether they want to run around and play or just hang out and relax. I treat every pet like they’re my own and always try to make visits fun, calm, and stress-free for them. I know how important it is to trust the person taking care of your pets, so I always try to be reliable, communicative, and make sure both you and your pets feel comfortable. Pet care is already a regular part of my daily routine. I currently do dog walks, drop-in visits, and overnight care throughout the week, and I’ve also cared for my own pets my whole life. I’m used to planning my schedule around pets and making sure they get the attention, exercise, and care they need. I genuinely enjoy it, and spending time with animals fits naturally into my routine. I currently provide care in my clients’ homes and try to keep pets as comfortable and relaxed as possible by following their normal routine. I always follow the instructions owners provide, including feeding schedules, walks, medications if needed, playtime, and any specific care instructions or preferences their pets have. I know every pet is different, so I try to pay attention to their personality and comfort level while making sure they feel safe, cared for, and comfortable while their owners are away.

About: My wife and I share a love of dogs and have raised many throughout our lives. We will provide a safe and loving environment for your pet. We offer personalized care that meets the needs of your dog, making our home, their home, away from home. We have experience administering medications, caring for senior dogs, taking dogs for walks and have a fenced in yard for active pups. We are recently retired and currently do not have a dog. We have no children living at home, although we have an active home with many dog loving grandchildren that visit and since they all have their own dogs, will love playing with yours. We are currently retired and have time to dedicate to your pet. We enjoy being outside and would love to spend time with your dog by either walks, playing in the yard or visiting the park. Our home is pet friendly, allowing your dog to roam freely. We have a fenced in yard for play and a deck that dogs enjoy sunning themselves on. Going for a walk, taking time to understand your dogs needs and just spending time with your dog is our priority.

If you’re looking for a trustworthy, reliable, and responsible dog sitter; Jim is your guy! Jim watched Kali for 4 days when we were away and he was fantastic with her and was very communicative. Our girl requires A LOT of attention and he delivered. Jim even texted to ask where the towels were when Kali got wet after a walk. We can’t thank Jim enough and will most certainly use him again! - Dawry, Shirley, & Kali D. ??

About: I'm a Division 1 women's rugby player and a huge animal lover! Dogs have always been a big part of my life growing up, and I currently have a 3-year-old Boxer named Rory who is such a character and makes me laugh every single day. On top of my love for animals, I have years of babysitting experience and am in my 6th year as a lifeguard, so keeping a close eye on those in my care comes naturally to me. I'm reliable, high-energy, and genuinely love spending time with dogs so your pup will always be in great hands. Whether it's a long walk or some extra playtime, I'll make sure they're happy, tired, and well taken care of! I'm a college athlete home for the summer with plenty of time and energy to dedicate to your dog! I work as a lifeguard and legal intern most days from 9-3, so I have great afternoon and evening availability throughout the week. Your home and your dog are in good hands with me. I stick to whatever routines and rules you have in place, give your pup plenty of attention and activity during walks and drop-ins, and always leave things exactly as I found them. Your peace of mind is just as important to me as your dog's happiness!

She was communicative with updates during her visits and our dog was clearly well taken care of and enjoyed her time with Christen. She was completely calm/at ease when we returned home. We'd definitely have Christen back to look after Claire again.

(and we've had great ones) Timely, respectful and detail orientated (our cat has multiple diet things) she follows instructions perfectly, takes lots of photos and provides amazing brief visit summaries. If you're lucky enough to snag her you won't as your sitter you should be very grateful! Best person to care for a furry member of the family.

Beyond my own dogs, I have walked and cared for countless friends' dogs, ranging from playful puppies needing potty breaks to gentle seniors requiring specialized attention. I am adept at handling everything from basic training reinforcement to complex walks and am ready to welcome your beloved dog into my care. 🌟 Why Choose Me? (The Energy Advantage!) The High-Energy Expert: Training for a half marathon means I have miles to burn! If you have a high-octane dog that needs a serious run (not just a walk), I'm your girl. I love giving dogs the focused exercise they need to be happy and well-behaved at home. Experience & Trust: With a background spanning over a decade, I bring a calm, knowledgeable presence. You can trust that I will treat your home and your dog with the utmost respect and care, ensuring their routine is maintained and their safety is always the top priority. Services Offered 🏡 House Sitting (Your Home, Their Comfort) I stay in your home, providing around-the-clock companionship and care. This is perfect for dogs who thrive in their own environment. I manage feeding, medications, playtime, walks, and make sure they feel safe and loved until your return. 🚶 Dog Walking (Customized Exercise) From a brisk 30-minute neighborhood walk to a high-intensity run for the athletic pup, I offer personalized exercise designed to match your dog's specific needs and stamina. ⏱️ Drop-In Visits (Quick & Comprehensive) Ideal for quick check-ins, potty breaks, feeding, and a little playtime/snuggle time. I make sure their basic needs are met and they get a happy human interaction to break up their day. I look forward to meeting your furry family member and becoming their trusted caregiver! I work from home so have flexibility to work from anywhere and stop to play/walk/feed/etc. whenever is needed! I run my own consulting business so my hours are my own to build around what is needed and can flex on any given day. I am a loving pet parent myself and will treat your dog just like my own with lots of cuddles, pets and playtime. If they just need someone to be near, I can stay in your home for most of the day and try to keep life as normal for them as possible while you're away. If they crave socialization, I can also bring to play with my 2 year old lab in our fenced in yard, as needed/wanted.

About: Since I was 10 years old, I’ve always had a dog in my life. I love animals so much and I offer nothing but affection and care. I love cuddling with them too if they’re open to it. I’m in sales so I do work from home a lot. When I leave my house, it’s for a maximum of four hours. If you have a dog that is shy, I have a separate room for him/her. I have a 10 pound Shih Tzu living in our home. I adore him and he’s very friendly but if your dog does not like other dogs, it’s not a problem to keep them separate. I usually keep my dog on the main floor of the townhome. He has full access to the whole floor. If your dog is shy, I have a spare room on the lower level that the dog can stay in solo with a couch, dog bed, crate, and toys. I will only take 1 household at a time (2 dogs max) to ensure that your pup gets plenty of individual attention.

Stephanie took such wonderful care of our baby girl Luna!! Beyond Luna’s daily routine, our kitty is obsessed with being brushed and it’s a must. Stephanie brushed her every visit (seriously, 2x a day!) and quickly became her best friend! She also took so many great pics, which was so nice to see and really appreciated. We knew she genuinely loved on Luna like she was her own. We came home to a super happy, relaxed kitty and had total peace of mind knowing she was in such capable, loving hands. We highly recommend Stephanie to anyone looking for a sitter who truly treats your pet like family. She was absolutely perfect!!!💜

Whether you’re at the office for the day or traveling for a few nights, a pet sitter can offer potty breaks during a Red Bank stroll, cleaning the litter box, or making sure your pet has on-time food or water refills. For daytime services like walking and drop-ins, you can also request sitters to send a report card with every visit.

Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover to what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Red Bank. On Rover:

  • 88% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 93% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 96% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
