“Bob is the absolute best. We are immeasurably thankful for the care and attention he provided to our dog. Full/complete communication before and during our dog’s stay with his family, pics of our canine each day. My dog looked/acted so happy when I picked her up, I think she thought she was treated to a spa vacation. Thank you Bob for everything you did for our little lady.”
“Ken is super amazing and took great care of my dog. Was super flexible about pick up time and drop off. He was super accommodating and routinely sent update photos and text messages about my dog during the time he stayed with Ken. Will definitely contact Ken again to board my dog.”

“Our dog, Millie had a great extended stay with Deena! When meeting Deena, it’s immediately noticeable that she loves dogs and just has a natural, nurturing relationship with them. She was very attentive during Millie’s visit and sent daily pictures, videos and updates. I’m sure Millie loved the added bonus of the attention of Deena’s sons, as well. I definitely recommend her and would have Millie stay with her again!”

“Paul & Kathryn took great care of Tyson and sent me many pictures, he really enjoyed being with them and their children. I had no concerns leaving him in their care and will continue to reach out them as needed...”

“Lorrie was great! It’s clear she knows what she’s doing when it comes to caring for dogs. Our dog had a great time. Will definitely book with her again. Thanks Lorrie :)”

“Angelica is a dream host! I can't wait to book my puppy with them again as soon as possible! I got the cutest photos of all of their adventures and he came back cleaner than I sent him and tired from all the fun!”

“I couldn’t have asked for better caretakers of our pups than Shelly and Bill! Always let us know how our 2 dogs were doing and included lots of fun pictures. Our dogs had an amazing time and came home relaxed which says a ton about how comfortable they were under Shelly and Bills care. 100/10!”

“Lexi and Prashanth were phenomenal sitters. They treated my dog Luka with incredible care, attention, and treats. I also appreciated their flexibility with my schedule during my work trip. Luka and I will certainly use them again in the future. Thanks again, y’all!”

“I booked Michael for the 1st time for an overnight for my doggie and he lived up to his promise to take care of my dog and keep him happy and safe. He texted promptly whenever I had a question, sent photos and had him ready for pick up right on time. Very dependable so I would not hesitate to use him again”

“Billy is hands down the Dog Whisperer — and that headline is no exaggeration! He’s the best of the best. My 5-month-old Maltipoo puppy, Einstein, was treated like royalty while my family and I were away on holiday. Billy kept us smiling the whole trip with constant pictures and videos of Einstein — whether it was him strutting around the park, enjoying his meals, or just being his playful self. It honestly felt like Einstein was on his own little vacation! Billy even went the extra mile by gently removing some knots from his fur and washing his things before giving him back to us. He was super polite with my whole family, always cheerful, and gave us updates whenever we asked (sometimes a couple of times a day). Einstein got plenty of walks, playtime, and cuddles — it was obvious he was being cared for as if he were Billy’s own pup. On top of all that, Billy’s rates are very competitive, which makes the level of care he provides feel like an incredible find. We’ll 100% be booking him again as repeat clients. If you want someone who will love your pup like family, look no further — Billy really is the Dog Whisperer! 🐾✨”

“Meghan was perfect for watching our cat for an extended stay! She gave us updates with pictures and videos. We felt she was safe and happy with Meghan. We will absolutely reach out again when we need a babysitter!”

“Christen is the best! Our dog is a rescue, around 5 years old and definitely has some nerves but is SO comfortable with Christen. She loves her time there every time and Christen is so communicative!”

“Our dog, Rocky, had a wonderful stay with Rick! Rick's sharp attention to Rocky's needs allowed him to connect with our sensitive, people-friendly pup easily. He took the time to acclimate him to his new surroundings and then gave him plenty of exercise and attention. On top of that, I personally found Rick to be "customer service" oriented, extending several offers to me to ease our timing of pick-up logistics as well as sending several pics and videos of Rocky's adventures. It was a home run! We'll be back!”

“This is the second time Megan and Bryan have taken in our two pups. They are just really, really nice people and very pleasant to be around. Our pups love going there to play with Boomer and Obie and were exhausted when they got home. Thanks again Megan and Bryan!”

“Britney is amazing! My dog can sometimes be a little iffy about strangers but she has such great energy that he warmed up immediately. I really had absolutely no worries leaving him with her for a stay. Very flexible with scheduling and communicative with lots of pictures. 10/10 would recommend.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Red Bank
We left our super energetic 10 month old French bulldog Frankie with Ken for 3 days and 2 nights. He took great care of him and sent him home healthy and tired. We would definitely recommend him! He’s very nice and gives good updates. He seems to really loves dogs.

Bob was fantastic with my Boston, Otis! Otis was comfortable right away and clearly happy during his stay. Bob was very kind, took and shared lots of pictures, which I loved. Otis was excited to return after the meet and greet, he was happy seeing the house and went right in. Highly recommend!”
Our experience with our dog sitter was outstanding. From the start, they were reliable, communicative, and clearly cared about our dog’s well-being. We felt completely comfortable knowing our dog was in good hands, which isn’t always easy to find. They provided updates, remained attentive to routines, and went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. Most importantly, our dog was happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for when we returned. We wouldn’t hesitate to use them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and genuinely caring.

Chloe and I knew after our initial meet and greet that Chloe would feel comfortable and welcome and well cared for with Britney. It was the longest I’ve left Chloe and I really appreciated the photos and updates two times a day, especially given Britney’s Vet Tech experience. I would absolutely book with Britnay again and I highly recommend that you do too.

Kelsey looked after our pup, Otis, for a week and we highly recommend her! She sent pics and videos throughout the week and prior to Otis’s stay she had a meet n greet with him where she learned all about him and made sure there were no issues with her own pup. We had peace of mind knowing he was in good hands and will definitely be using her services in the future!

Our dog Mazie loves going to Ricks! She is an Aussiedoodle that needs a lot of exercise so it was important for us to find someone who would make sure she got her steps in. At Rick’s, she’s able to run the property to get out all of her energy. Rick sends us videos every day to share how Mazie is doing. We feel confident knowing mazie is in good hands when we are away.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
