“Last night was my first night away from my 4 month old puppy. Even though my pup did great on our meet and great I was very anxious about leaving her. Bob knew my husband and I were celebrating our 25 year wedding anniversary and made sure we relaxed and enjoyed ourselves but sending periodic updates with pics. When we picked up our puppy today she just woke up from a nap on Bob's lap. She was happy to see us but in no rush to leave. Bob will now be watching her for 10 nights in the summer and I couldn't be happier. I am 100% confident that I found the perfect sitter for my little girl. Thank you again Bob!!!”

“Our dog buddy had a blast with Ken and his dog. Ken did a great job watching buddy. He sent pictures , took him on walks and let buddy run on his backyard. Highly recommend”

About: I grew up with a dog and have owned my own now for the past 4 years. I’m super patient and love allowing dogs to be in their natural element- outdoor time and getting some good sniffs in is the key to a happy pup. While I’m not a certified trainer, I do feel like I have a knack for it- gimme a go 😉 I currently work from home and hang with my dog during the day. Happy to have your pup join us on our daily walks or I could also work from prospect park if you prefer your pup to have as much outdoor time as possible. I do try to give my dog as much outdoor time as possible- I think there’s no greater stimuli than to be outdoors and smelling all the smells. Dogs need that.
About: Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember, and caring for them truly lights me up! I’m a former small-animal veterinary technician with 5 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats of all breeds, ages, and medical needs (this goes from energetic puppies to sweet senior pets who need a little extra love!) I hold a BS in Equine Science (animal husbandry) from Centenary University & Hartpury University. I have spent my life caring for a wide variety of animals, including horses, cats, and dogs. I’ve even managed the care of over 100 horses at one time! Whether I’m riding in Colts Neck, working in a veterinary setting, or shark diving, I’m happiest when I’m surrounded by animals. I’ve also cared for my own dogs my entire life, including my beagle Maggie and my mutt Princess. I take care of all of my friend's dogs and animals when needed (Peep my friend's weenie named Stevie on my photos page). I’m kind, gentle, playful, and very attentive! I treat every pet like family, and their comfort and happiness always come first (they eat before I do!) I currently live in Pier Village, which means dogs get safe, fun, and enriching walks along the beach and boardwalk. My schedule offers full availability on Sundays and Mondays, with flexible availability Tuesday through Saturday. I made this account years ago but never ended up using it. Since letting my most recent beagle go over the rainbow bridge, I am not looking to adopt for a while but being able to care for other's dogs will bring me great happiness! Now that I graduated and have more free time after ending my vet tech career I can't wait to be established in NJ! I can’t wait to meet you and your pet and provide loving, dependable care while you’re away! My schedule offers full availability on Sundays and Mondays, with flexible availability Tuesday through Saturday. *Hours Tuesday - Saturday change every week (I get 2 weeks in advance notice for these specific days) & will most likely be morning and evening walks/drop-ins (I am not available midday for check ins or walks during those specific days)* I treat every pet as part of my family, whether they’re in my home or yours. In my care, pets get lots of love, gentle attention, and structured routines (obviously let me know specific needs and I'll make it happen). I make sure they eat on time, get plenty of playtime, walks, and mental stimulation, and receive any medications or special care they need. I’m calm, patient, and playful, and I always pay close attention to each pet’s personality and comfort. In my home in Pier Village, pets enjoy safe, enriching walks along the beach and boardwalk, cozy spots to rest, and lots of cuddles and attention! Whether in your home or mine, I focus on keeping pets happy, safe, and stress free, giving them the love, care, and reassurance they deserve while their family is away. I also provide updates and photos so you can see that your furry friend is comfortable, happy, and thriving!
“Amazing! I was so nervous to leave my super-senior, but Mike put my fears to rest! My dog had an incredible time making some new friends, and I was quickly assured he was in great hands. So highly recommend Mike's Dog Hotel!”
“Our local dog sitter cancelled last minute due to emergency reasons and we contacted Toni the morning of to see if she can watch our fur-pup for one week. She got back to us almost immediately which helped relieve so much stress. We highly recommend Toni as your next dog sitter. She will text you everyday with the well being of your pup, she will send pics, and her and her son will spoil your pup with love and affection. You will not regret going with Toni.”

“This is the second time Megan and Bryan have taken in our two pups. They are just really, really nice people and very pleasant to be around. Our pups love going there to play with Boomer and Obie and were exhausted when they got home. Thanks again Megan and Bryan!”

“It was Molly’s first time with Lorrie and it was a very positive experience. Lorrie is knowledgeable about dog behavior and very patient and caring. I highly recommend her!”

About: In 2025 I decided to go full time and start my own pet care business. I am fully bonded & insured and continue to add new classes and certifications under my belt. I have been in a dog training apprenticeship for the last few months as well and have found it so helpful to bring that knowledge with me when taking care of peoples pets. The greatest compliment I have received is that it's obvious how much I love the animals I work with, and it is so true. I have quite literally never enjoyed showing up to work as much as I do now. Thank you all for trusting me with your babies and your homes-- I do not take that responsibility lightly. Since making the full-time pivot to pet care, my schedule now has the flexibility fit around the needs of your pets. For walks, our walk doesn't officially "START" until your dogs paws hit the pavement! Your dog gets the full 30 minutes with no corners cut. This is true for all of my services. I will care for them like they are my own dogs— their safety is my top priority, and I know how difficult the transition can be for pups when their parents are gone and will do everything in my power to make that easier for them.

“Our dogs stayed with Mary and Aaron for a week and we as a great experience. First of all on arriving their kids made a welcome sign with the dogs names! We received text updates and pics daily and tid bits of info that really showed they knew our dogs and interacted with them a lot! Lots of info you’d only know if you took the time to play with them and see their habits. Our dogs came home seeming happy and healthy and totally adjusted. I have no doubts were cared for and loved by them and their great family! Will definitely use them again.”

“Fist time boarding my 15 year old toy poodle with Michael and Danielle. He loved it. They provided a warm and loving environment for this old guy. They have a beautiful home and great yard for playtime. A great experience all around.”

About: Since I was 10 years old, I’ve always had a dog in my life. I love animals so much and I offer nothing but affection and care. I love cuddling with them too if they’re open to it. I’m in sales so I do work from home a lot. When I leave my house, it’s for a maximum of four hours. If you have a dog that is shy, I have a separate room for him/her. I have a 10 pound Shih Tzu living in our home. I adore him and he’s very friendly but if your dog does not like other dogs, it’s not a problem to keep them separate. I usually keep my dog on the main floor of the townhome. He has full access to the whole floor. If your dog is shy, I have a spare room on the lower level that the dog can stay in solo with a couch, dog bed, crate, and toys. I will only take 1 household at a time (2 dogs max) to ensure that your pup gets plenty of individual attention.
“I have review Rachel a few times now and every time, she is amazing. She watched our almost 1 year old golden doodle for 6 days and nights. Babka is so happy when she is there. And so happy when she comes home. No issues whatsoever and Rachel sent pictures and videos too. Also her dog loves Babka and that makes us so happy for them both to have a friend to play with for the week. We will continue to use Rachel whenever we can.”

Our dog Mazie loves going to Ricks! She is an Aussiedoodle that needs a lot of exercise so it was important for us to find someone who would make sure she got her steps in. At Rick’s, she’s able to run the property to get out all of her energy. Rick sends us videos every day to share how Mazie is doing. We feel confident knowing mazie is in good hands when we are away.
