Will also be groomed before any sit. I have grown up with cats and dogs my entire life. My love of other peoples pets prompted them to begin to ask me to start dog and cat-sitting. About: I've grown up with pets for most of my childhood. I help with looking after family and friends dogs whenever they need me. Whether your pet needs walks, playtime, feeding, medication reminders, or simply companionship, I’m happy to do it. My schedule is pretty flexible at the moment. About: After 15 years with my dog, I’ve transitioned to being the go-to dog walker and sitter for my family and friends, and am excited to expand! I have experience caring for dogs in every phase of life, from the energetic puppy days, to the senior days that required more attention. I understand firsthand what it takes to look after an aging dog, from mobility issues, to medication schedules, to just understanding an individual dog’s quirks. But, I’m just as comfortable with the energy and playfulness of puppies and young dogs, and I adjust my approach to fit whatever stage of life a dog is in. I work from home with a flexible schedule, which allows me to be with pets all day and go for regular bathroom breaks/walks during the day as well. I am also available on weekends! When I’m in a client’s home, I follow their instructions, my goal is to keep their pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, same feeding times, walk schedule, and any medications, so there’s minimal disruption while they’re away. I also make sure to give plenty of one-on-one attention and playtime, keep the home secure and tidy, and stay alert to any changes in behavior, eating, or energy level. I’m also careful with yard safety, checking that fences and gates are secure before letting a dog out and keeping an eye on them the whole time, rather than assuming a fenced yard means no supervision is needed. I also always keep the owner updated with photos or messages during the stay

About: I’ve always had 3+ pets at a time in my household growing up, always a combination of dogs and cats. I’m comfortable with small and large dogs! I have experience feeding, walking, giving some medicines and playing with all pets. I have experience with aging pets, including senior cats and diabetic dogs requiring insulin. I’m currently working full-time in person, but my boyfriend does work fully remote from our apartment. We are happy to host your pet if they need attention during the day! I’m also available to come by any time after work or on the weekends. I always ensure the environment is safe, nothing that could be harmful is in reach of the pets. “Kit stayed at our house for 3 nights to watch out two dogs and one cat and we couldn’t be happier with his services. We did a brief meet-and-greet a few days before and I felt very comfortable because Kit has a really kind way about him, which the dogs and cat immediately responded positively to. I knew they would be in great hands! Over the days leading up to and during the pet sitting, Kit was communicative, proactive, reliable, responsive, responsible, and mature. I got lots of great pictures to know they were happy. Kit has a lot of experience taking care of dogs and cats and was comfortable taking on all tasks of feeding, walking, etc., and kept their routine on track. He asked good questions when he was unsure about anything and even dealt calmly with a temporary power outage situation. Kit always had in mind the best interest of our animals and the house and we felt very assured in his capable hands. As a bonus, Kit was very prompt, tidy, and took great care of the house. He even took out the garbage, which was above and beyond and much appreciated! We will definitely reach out to Kit for future pet sitting needs.”
