When I’m in a client’s home, I follow their instructions, my goal is to keep their pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, same feeding times, walk schedule, and any medications, so there’s minimal disruption while they’re away. I also make sure to give plenty of one-on-one attention and playtime, keep the home secure and tidy, and stay alert to any changes in behavior, eating, or energy level. I’m also careful with yard safety, checking that fences and gates are secure before letting a dog out and keeping an eye on them the whole time, rather than assuming a fenced yard means no supervision is needed. About: I have worked at a doggy daycare since September now. I have had pets my entire life. I currently have a mixed dog and I’ve had a chocolate lab and a Lhasa Apso in the past. I am a huge animal lover! I work part-time at a doggy daycare, boarding, and grooming facility, and I recently graduated Monmouth University and am currently at Monmouth to study to be a speech-language pathologist. About: I’ve been around dogs and cats my whole life. I’ve done all the chores that come with them. I’ve had a big dog and a little dog almost my entire life. My big dog is now older, so I have to help him with his arthritis. I’ve had to pick up poop, feed them, walk them, and massage him. I don’t have a job currently, so I’m free for anyone’s convenience!
