About: I grew up with dogs and cats (and hamsters and fish, lol) and have been caring for animals for over 30 years. I’m a part-time teacher and artist ready for side work caring for your fur babies. I love long walks and getting my steps in! I used to be a volunteer dog walker in the city for a rescue organization. I am currently working part time as an artist and teacher, so my availability is pretty flexible. I’m typically available for overnight stays after 8pm. I’m an animal lover and snugger. I’ll gladly send you pictures of your adorable pets and love long (or short) walks and getting my steps in! I’ve cared for kittens/puppies and elderly animals with various health conditions, along with your healthy middle aged fur friends.

About: I started caring for dogs and cats when I was 8 years old, watching my neighbors pets when they were away. My college degree in Animal Science taught me the background information needed to care for medically complex animals, such as dogs with diabetes or cats with FeLV or FIV. I have experience administering injections, giving pills, wound care, and other medical treatment. If you’re looking for an experienced pet sitter to care for your beloved friend, look no further! I work remotely and can spend as much time with your pet as you need. On the weekends I have even more flexibility! Any time you need someone to take care of your pet, I’ll be available. I take safety very seriously and take precautions to ensure the safety of your pet and my own safety. When I first meet your pet, I introduce myself very slowly and pay close attention to body language. When pet sitting in someone else’s home, I always double check locks while entering the home and leaving to ensure that no strangers can enter and no pets can get out.

“Katherine was so good with Frank the doxie! And he liked her immediately. I then, could leave and travel with ease. Also, I made a request kinda late since my other sitter backed out. I’m recommending Katherine while lol hoping you all keep in mind, I definitely want to have Katherine come stay with Frank again!”

“Angelica was so attentive to Max, our 13 week Cavapoo. I got lots of photos and video throughout the weekend. He was so happy playing and snuggling with Angelica and didn’t have any accidents on the rugs. I would recommend Angelica without reservation. She left the house tidier than it was before the weekend!”

Claudia is a rockstar! My dog is pretty high maintenance when it comes to walks, as she’s reactive on the leash. But Claudia handled her very well, and made me feel much more at ease while I was away. If you need a wonderful dog sitter, Claudia is your girl! 🙌

Ashley is a wonderful sitter who took great care of our two dogs and one special needs cat. It made us feel very reassured also that she is a veterinary technician and could let us know if any health issues came up with the pets!

Jillian did a wonderful job caring for our cats. Having her there allowed us to relax on our trip. We would definitely have her watch them again. She is the very best.

Skye was great, once again! Extremely communicative throughout the stay and sent lots of pictures. We felt very comfortable leaving our elderly, special needs dog in Skye’s care!

Taylor was incredible and I cannot recommend her enough. Along with her husband they have a dog of their own so they know the ins and outs of pet sitting and my girlfriend and I couldn’t have felt more comfortable leaving our Chihuahua with them. Highly responsive and the nicest couple. Definitely would book Taylor again in the future if we ever find ourselves back in Asbury Park!

Emily is fantastic! We had never had someone we didnt know care for our pet, let alone stay in our home. But after our 'meet and greet' with Emily, we immediately felt at ease. She was very attentive to our dog and his needs/wants....and she took great care in our home. She was very communicative, sending us status updates and pictures each day. We would recommend her without hesitation and will definitely use her again.

Andrea was so great with Doug! She was so accommodating— She knew that I preferred to have her present with him while house sitting and she rearranged her schedule so she could be with him as much as possible. We got regular updates about Doug’s day with some photos too so we never had to wonder how he was doing. I felt at ease knowing that he was in her care. We will definitely be working with Andrea again! Highly recommend.
