About: I love dogs more than people 😉 and have been around them my entire life — from Silky Terriers to German Shepherds. I’m a responsible, attentive, and genuinely caring person who will treat your dog like my own. We currently do not have any animals in the home, which allows me to focus fully on your dog’s care and comfort. While we live in an apartment, we’re just a few blocks from the beach in Asbury Park and have access to excellent walking routes. I take dogs on long daily walks of at least 3 miles and am always happy to go farther if that suits your pup. I’m especially understanding of dogs who may be anxious or reactive around other dogs. I know how stressful it can be to leave a dog with behavioral sensitivities, and I’m committed to providing a safe, calm, and structured environment. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and well-being are always my top priorities. I currently work outside the home three days a week. About: While I’m newer to professional pet sitting, I’ve spent years caring for my own pets and helping with family animals, including feeding, walking, playtime, and daily care. Love nothing more! About: In all my 22 years of life, I have always had a dog and have assisted in feeding, bathing, and walking the dogs I’ve had. Melissa is a wonderful pet sitter! She did drops ins for my two cats. She washed dirty bowls that my cats used after eating. I thought that was so thoughtful of her to do this. She also took pictures of my pets , the pet food she fed them, as well as the cat pen area that she cleaned, everyday. In addition, she came over the day it was supposed to snow, on very short notice, for additional drop in visits. I asked her if she could do drops ins the day before, for this day. And even though it was short notice for this additional booking, she agreed to do the drop ins. I was relieved to not have to travel back home, an hour away, in inclement weather, the next day. I am so grateful for her hard work and for excepting my last minute booking, without much prior notice. Melissa is a reliable , flexible and kind pet sitter! I highly recommend her!
