“Brie absolutely loved her time at Meghan’s place! I got daily updates and great communication and could see how happy and comfortable she was in the photos and videos. We felt relaxed and assured that our dog was in excellent care and being treated as if she was part of the family. Meghan even included a little goodie bag and was sad to see Brie go, they’re really bonded. I absolutely recommend Meghan (and Rob) to care for your baby!”

“Angelica is a dream host! I can't wait to book my puppy with them again as soon as possible! I got the cutest photos of all of their adventures and he came back cleaner than I sent him and tired from all the fun!”

“I was super nervous about leaving my puppy, but Shanice was amazing! He had so much fun and was well taken care of! When I picked him up he was happy and didn’t want to leave!”

“Our dog, Mickey, loved his stay with Bob and his wife. Receiving pictures of Mickey throughout his stay made our mini-vacation even that more pleasurable. We have already booked a future stay and highly recommend Bob.”

“Linda was wonderful and watched our 1 year old dog while we vacationed for the week. She took the time to send plenty of photos and took our dog on many fun walks around the neighborhood each day! Our dog was a rescue and tends to be very nervous and cautious in new situations. Linda took extra care to make sure he was happy and comfortable each day. I highly recommend booking with Linda!”

“Megan and her husband were SO great with our fur-babies. I was so nervous leaving them behind with someone and I felt so reassured that they stayed with Megan. I got pictures and videos and could tell that Stella & Casanova really loved their little vacation. Thanks so much!!!!!!”

“I can not say enough about how great Lori was with my little girl, Remi! This was the first time Remi has been out of her surroundings for multiple nights and Lori made sure she was her #1 priority. To be able to go away with piece of mind is exactly what Lori provided to me. Each picture I got, put a smile on my face and I could tell Remi was happy and comfortable. Thank you again Lori !”

About: I have taken care of dogs for most of my adult life. My wife and I have made a point to adopt large older dogs that tend to be stuck in the shelter system. All dogs are good and deserve to live a fun filled, happy, and loved life. I am also recently pet CPR and first aid certified by The American Red Cross. Im currently working part time three nights during the week so I have plenty of free time to take care of your pups. Having recently lost our beloved Mastiff, I've been craving some pup time. I have a fully fenced in yard and have plenty of room to crate your pups. We recently lost our dog so we are pet free. Being dog people, we welcome your dogs like they were our family.
About: Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember, and caring for them truly lights me up! I’m a former small animal veterinary technician with 5 years of hands on medical experience caring for dogs and cats of all breeds, ages, and medical needs (this goes from energetic puppies to sweet senior pets who need a little extra love!) and have 28 years of experience handling and caring for many species. I provide high level care, ideal for pets who need consistency, medication support, or a calm, reliable presence. I hold a BS in Equine Science (animal husbandry) from Centenary University & Hartpury University. I have spent my life caring for a wide variety of animals, including horses, cats, and dogs + my own dogs. Sometimes even caring for 100+ horses at one time! I take care of all of my friends' dogs and animals when needed (Peep my friend's weenie named Stevie in my photos). Whether I’m riding horses in Colts Neck, working in a veterinary setting, or shark diving, I’m happiest when I’m surrounded by animals. I’m kind, gentle, playful, and very attentive! I treat every pet like family, and their comfort and happiness always come first. I currently live in Pier Village, which means dogs get safe, fun, and enriching walks along the beach and boardwalk. Now that I have graduated and have more free time after ending my vet tech career, I can't wait to be established in NJ! I can’t wait to meet you and your pet and provide loving, dependable care while you’re away! I made this account years ago but never ended up using it. Since letting my most recent beagle go over the rainbow bridge, I am not looking to adopt for a while but being able to care for other's dogs will bring me great happiness! My schedule offers full availability on Sundays and Mondays, with flexible availability Tuesday through Saturday (usually early AM & evenings). *Hours Tuesday - Saturday change every week (I get 2 weeks in advance notice for these specific days) & will most likely be morning and evening walks/drop-ins (I am not available MID-DAY for check-ins or walks)* I treat every pet as part of my family, whether they’re in my home or yours. In my care, pets get lots of love, gentle attention, and structured routines. I make sure they eat on time, get plenty of playtime, walks, and mental stimulation, and receive any medications or special care they need. I’m calm, patient, and playful, and I always pay close attention to each pet’s personality and comfort. In my home in Pier Village, pets enjoy safe, enriching walks along the beach and boardwalk, cozy spots to rest, and lots of cuddles and attention! I only host one dog in my care at a time to provide calm, focused, and personalized care for your fur baby:) Whether in your home or mine, I focus on keeping pets happy, safe, and stress free, giving them the love, care, and reassurance they deserve while their family is away. I also provide updates and photos so you can see that your furry friend is comfortable, happy, and thriving!

With that much experience, we know every dog has their own personality, needs, and quirks and we love them all! I’m available for boarding both weekdays and weekends making it easy to fit your dogs needs into my schedule. In addition they receive plenty of backyard playtime throughout the day to keep them happy healthy, and engaged. Feeding schedules can be adjusted to maintain their typical routine. Your dog’s safety is always my priority. The fenced in yard with locked gates provides a secure space for outdoor play, and our friendly 2 1/2 year-old boxer is here to keep your pup company. For added peice of mind, we have indoor cameras to keep an eye on things if we have to step out and cameras around the outside of the entire home, although dogs are never left unattended outside. I can also offer crates if preferred and have designated areas to separate dogs during feeding time to ensure a calm and stress-free environment.
“Bridgette was a great host for my pup-son! When i dropped him off, the first thing she said was, “I’ve been excited all day waiting for him!” How comforting that was to hear?! She sent ample pictures and even videos! She took him to the dog park, on long walks, and challenged him with puzzles. My little fella usually takes a while before he feels comfortable eating with a new sitter but he had no issues with her! She even fed him his motion sickness medication before I picked him up. I would recommend Bridgette to any and all of my friends/family. Your pup will be in good hands. Added bonus that she was able to squeeze him in on short notice!”

“Danielle did a remarkable job sitting Basil over the holiday weekend. Basil was very well taken care of and was sad to leave when I came to pick him up. Danielle was also incredibly flexible; she allowed us to pick up Basil at a different date / time than we previously agreed upon. I couldn’t recommend Danielle enough :)!!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Oakhurst
I had such an incredible experience with Meghan! This was my first time using Rover and having someone dog sit my baby that was not a friend or family member. Meghan was so understanding and was so so communicative by sending me daily texts and pics. Cannot recommend her enough!! My Scout loves Meghan and can't wait to go back!

Best experience with Annie!!! She was consistently sending updates/pics and made me feel so comfortable while I was away. Juno was socialized and soo exhausted when she came back, which was a great sign to confirm how much fun she had all weekend. Thank you again, I will 100% be booking again and highly recommend Annie to anyone looking for a high-touch dog care experience.

Choosing a dog sitter can be stressful, especially with a senior pup, but Lori incredible! Lulu stayed with her for a few nights while I was away, and Lori was great with her. Communication was great throughout the entire stay, providing me with peace of mind. Lulu has a lot of medical issues and requires medication and a prescription diet, which Lori handled flawlessly. She even woke up in the middle of the night to let her out due to her aging bladder. It is rare to find someone so compassionate, attentive, and dedicated to the extra care that senior dogs need. Cannot recommend Lori enough and will definitely be booking again!

Carol was the best sitter I could ask for! She is so kind and took care of my puppy so well! This was my first time leaving my puppy with a sitter and she gave me peace of mind with check ins. I knew she was in good hands. I would definitely book with Carol again.

Marc exceeded my expectations. He went above and beyond. Did a meet & greet last minute, took her even though she was sick.Had no problem giving her medication. Took lots of pics and videos to ease my mind. Answered all my concerns. Washed her blanket casue it got stained. Even treated her to home made dog food. Not sure lacey is happy to be back with me! LOL. My flight got delayed 2x and Marc waited up late till i could pick her up. He's just the best.
Joshua was absolutely outstanding! My dog stayed with him for five days and was treated perfectly. He kept me updated throughout the stay and sent plenty of picturse, which gave me peace of mind. It was clear my dog was happy, comfortable, and well cared for. I would not hesitate to leave my dog with Joshua again anytime. Highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter!
