I care for pets as if they were my own, always prioritizing their safety, comfort, and routine. In my home, pets receive constant supervision, plenty of attention, and lots of exercise through walks and playtime. I work from home, so I’m able to be with them throughout the day, provide timely meals, potty breaks, and make sure they feel comfortable and settled.

Information Sydney S. would like to know about your pet
Before caring for a pet, I like to know their daily routine, feeding schedule, exercise needs, and any medical or behavioral considerations. It’s also helpful to know their temperament, energy level, likes and dislikes, and how they interact with other pets or people.
A typical day
I love keeping pets active, happy, and engaged! Every pet has their own routine, and I always do my best to stick to what they’re used to. That said, here’s an example of what a typical day might look like when I’m pet sitting: We usually start the day between 6–7am with breakfast followed by a long morning walk. When we get back home, we’ll have some playtime before settling in for a mid-morning nap. Around 11am, we head back outside for more play and fresh air, and again around 2–3pm for another potty break and activity time. I also love incorporating interactive toys, enrichment puzzles, or lick mats to keep pets mentally stimulated throughout the day. Dinner is typically around 5–6pm, followed by another long evening walk. At night, pets get plenty of attention, cuddles, and relaxation time. Before bed (around 9–10pm), we go out one last time for a final potty break. My goal is always to make pets feel comfortable, exercised, and loved while keeping their routine as consistent as possible.

Pet care experience
Hi! I’m Sydney, and I’ve been dog and cat sitting for over 10 years for wonderful families in my community. I recently joined Rover to connect with more pet parents and expand my pet care services. I truly love animals and treat every pet like they’re my own. Whether it’s long walks, playing fetch, sticking to feeding routines, or simply keeping them company, I make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I work from home and have a flexible schedule, so if I board your pet, I’ll be home with them throughout the day, giving them plenty of attention, care, and companionship.

Amazing. Lots of pictures.

Sydney was very sweet and very professional. I could tell she took her dogsitting very seriously and could also tell my dog enjoyed being around her. I highly recommend Sydney.

Very easy to deal with and great communication. Took exceptional care of our dog.
