“Meghan and Rob were absolutely wonderful. I had never left my Maverick with anyone outside the family and from the meet and greet through the entire stay I felt comfortable and like my dog would be well taken care of even with his history of being reactive. I received pictures and videos and they even took TV request. I would highly recommend Meghan.”

“We had a wonderful experience! Thank you so much for taking such great care of Simba. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing he was happy, well looked after, and even made a new friend 😊 We really appreciated the regular updates and photos, it meant a lot to us. It’s clear how much care and attention you give to the dogs you look after. We would absolutely love for Simba to stay with you again in the future. Highly recommend!”

“We left our two pups with Bob and they couldn’t have been in better hands. We were anxious to board them since they’ve never been away from us, but Bob put as at ease with text and picture updates on how they were getting along. We absolutely plan to use Bob again and would gladly recommend him to anyone that wants worry free pet boarding!”

“I can’t say enough wonderful things about Megan and her husband Bryan! After our initial meet & greet we felt so comfortable boarding our dog with them. Our dog can be a bit skittish and slow to warm up, but at Megan and Bryan’s it happened so quickly and easily, they’re pros! We also received so many updates & pictures which we greatly appreciated! We would recommend them to anyone and everyone 😊”

“This is my dog's 2nd stay with Shanice and once again she's proven to be excellent. I will definitely be booking with her again. My dog never wants to leave Shanice and her family and that's a good sign.”

“Lori was absolutely amazing!! I had to leave my baby for 10 days and I was more than grateful to know he was in such good hands. She updated often and he looked happier than ever in each picture and video! I would use Lori every single time to watch my Fur baby!! She’s the best thank you so so much”

About: Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember, and caring for them truly lights me up! I’m a former small animal veterinary technician with 5 years of hands on medical experience caring for dogs and cats of all breeds, ages, and medical needs (this goes from energetic puppies to sweet senior pets who need a little extra love!) and have 28 years of experience handling and caring for many species. I provide high level care, ideal for pets who need consistency, medication support, or a calm, reliable presence. I hold a BS in Equine Science (animal husbandry) from Centenary University & Hartpury University. I have spent my life caring for a wide variety of animals, including horses, cats, and dogs + my own dogs. Sometimes even caring for 100+ horses at one time! I take care of all of my friends' dogs and animals when needed (Peep my friend's weenie named Stevie in my photos). Whether I’m riding horses in Colts Neck, working in a veterinary setting, or shark diving, I’m happiest when I’m surrounded by animals. I’m kind, gentle, playful, and very attentive! I treat every pet like family, and their comfort and happiness always come first. I currently live in Pier Village, which means dogs get safe, fun, and enriching walks along the beach and boardwalk. Now that I have graduated and have more free time after ending my vet tech career, I can't wait to be established in NJ! I can’t wait to meet you and your pet and provide loving, dependable care while you’re away! I made this account years ago but never ended up using it. Since letting my most recent beagle go over the rainbow bridge, I am not looking to adopt for a while but being able to care for other's dogs will bring me great happiness! My schedule offers full availability on Sundays and Mondays, with flexible availability Tuesday through Saturday (usually early AM & evenings). *Hours Tuesday - Saturday change every week (I get 2 weeks in advance notice for these specific days) & will most likely be morning and evening walks/drop-ins (I am not available MID-DAY for check-ins or walks)* I treat every pet as part of my family, whether they’re in my home or yours. In my care, pets get lots of love, gentle attention, and structured routines. I make sure they eat on time, get plenty of playtime, walks, and mental stimulation, and receive any medications or special care they need. I’m calm, patient, and playful, and I always pay close attention to each pet’s personality and comfort. In my home in Pier Village, pets enjoy safe, enriching walks along the beach and boardwalk, cozy spots to rest, and lots of cuddles and attention! I only host one dog in my care at a time to provide calm, focused, and personalized care for your fur baby:) Whether in your home or mine, I focus on keeping pets happy, safe, and stress free, giving them the love, care, and reassurance they deserve while their family is away. I also provide updates and photos so you can see that your furry friend is comfortable, happy, and thriving!
About: I have taken care of dogs for most of my adult life. My wife and I have made a point to adopt large older dogs that tend to be stuck in the shelter system. All dogs are good and deserve to live a fun filled, happy, and loved life. I am also recently pet CPR and first aid certified by The American Red Cross. Im currently working part time three nights during the week so I have plenty of free time to take care of your pups. Having recently lost our beloved Mastiff, I've been craving some pup time. I have a fully fenced in yard and have plenty of room to crate your pups. We recently lost our dog so we are pet free. Being dog people, we welcome your dogs like they were our family.

“My doggies love their stay at Julie’s! They immediately felt comfortable (and so did I!). Julie is a great communicator and provided updates and photos regularly even for for an overnight visit. Marley and Winnie were happy and tired upon their return home, what more could I want?”

“Britney is amazing! My dog can sometimes be a little iffy about strangers but she has such great energy that he warmed up immediately. I really had absolutely no worries leaving him with her for a stay. Very flexible with scheduling and communicative with lots of pictures. 10/10 would recommend.”

We were sent lots of pictures and videos of their stay everyday. My dogs looked so happy and relaxed at her home ! Plus my dogs smelled amazing when I picked them up ! I am so happy we found her !”

“Danielle did a remarkable job sitting Basil over the holiday weekend. Basil was very well taken care of and was sad to leave when I came to pick him up. Danielle was also incredibly flexible; she allowed us to pick up Basil at a different date / time than we previously agreed upon. I couldn’t recommend Danielle enough :)!!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - West Long Branch
Julie was amazing. She gave lots of updates and provided pictures of our baby Tila while we were away from her. She even brought her to our wedding venue to have pictures taken in between our ceremony and reception. I would absolutely use her again and couldn’t recommend her enough!

Choosing a dog sitter can be stressful, especially with a senior pup, but Lori incredible! Lulu stayed with her for a few nights while I was away, and Lori was great with her. Communication was great throughout the entire stay, providing me with peace of mind. Lulu has a lot of medical issues and requires medication and a prescription diet, which Lori handled flawlessly. She even woke up in the middle of the night to let her out due to her aging bladder. It is rare to find someone so compassionate, attentive, and dedicated to the extra care that senior dogs need. Cannot recommend Lori enough and will definitely be booking again!

Carol was the best sitter I could ask for! She is so kind and took care of my puppy so well! This was my first time leaving my puppy with a sitter and she gave me peace of mind with check ins. I knew she was in good hands. I would definitely book with Carol again.

Marc exceeded my expectations. He went above and beyond. Did a meet & greet last minute, took her even though she was sick.Had no problem giving her medication. Took lots of pics and videos to ease my mind. Answered all my concerns. Washed her blanket casue it got stained. Even treated her to home made dog food. Not sure lacey is happy to be back with me! LOL. My flight got delayed 2x and Marc waited up late till i could pick her up. He's just the best.
Joshua was absolutely outstanding! My dog stayed with him for five days and was treated perfectly. He kept me updated throughout the stay and sent plenty of picturse, which gave me peace of mind. It was clear my dog was happy, comfortable, and well cared for. I would not hesitate to leave my dog with Joshua again anytime. Highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter!
