My name Julie Barber and I live in the Oceanport area. I have been a dog owner & lover for many years. Our dogs have brought us a lot of happiness & always considered them as part of the family. After losing our golden/spaniel Chloe to cancer three years ago, I didn't adopt again due to Storm Sandy. So with the move out of my home (after Storm Sandy to lift & rebuild) and living with an 'unknown' timeline, I decided to wait a bit. But when friends and neighbors reached out to me & asked if I would dog-sit, I was happy to help. So this began my love of boarding pets. I'm so glad it did. It felt like a very natural transition fell into my lap! I really do enjoy boarding and caring for my many dog clients* To date I have cared for dozens of lovely dogs and their pet families have been wonderful to meet too. 👍🏼😊🐾

I was so fortunate to come across Julie‘s profile and she seemed like the type of person that really loves animals. This was my first time leaving my dog at someone’s house, but she made me feel so comfortable. Sending me pictures and sending me messages every day to let me know that he was doing great. She has such a beautiful home and a nice lovely backyard that he could play in so he was absolutely in heaven at her house. Julie was the best and I would recommend anybody if you’re ever apprehensive about leaving your dog with someone. No fear Julie and her home is absolutely perfect!!
Julie was amazing. She gave lots of updates and provided pictures of our baby Tila while we were away from her. She even brought her to our wedding venue to have pictures taken in between our ceremony and reception. I would absolutely use her again and couldn’t recommend her enough!
Julie has taken such good care of our Joker. We felt so comfortable leaving our little guy with her, he loves it there!
Julie was the best, very kind, communicative, and really took care of our pup and made us feel comfortable.

Julie took amazing care of our Joker man! She sent us pictures and updates throughout the day which means so much to us. It was relieving to know our pup was in such good hands while we are at work. We will definitely be booking our next stay with Julie!
