Hi there! My name is Jonathan and I am delighted to be a part of the Rover pet-care community! I've been caring for animals since the age of 10 when I assumed some responsibilities for taking care of our family dog, Mocha, the chocolate lab. It's been nonstop animal care since then! I've taken care of and walked countless doggie friends, lived with multiple dogs, and house-sat for dog-owners, as well. I am no stranger to any type of dog, large or small, I love them all! Although I currently do not have a dog of my own, I do have a black cat named Betty, who is my absolute best friend. We've been together for the past 9 years and I love her more everyday. Jon was fantastic with my two cats, spending even more time with them than agreed upon. Over several visits on a long weekend, he gave them excellent care and lots of play. The sociable one fell for him immediately, and even my nervous girl warmed up over a short time. He’s got great energy and a clear love of animals. Book him today!
Jon was great with the dogs! He came over to meet them and to make sure we understood everything they needed a week before. He stayed at my house with them and send photos every day. He was cleanly and took great care of them!
Jon is a cat whisperer. A cat magnet. We were worried about leaving our two 1-1/2 year old cats for 10 days to take a family visit. There was absolutely nothing to be worried about. Even the very shy cat greeted Jon at the door every day and gave him nose kisses. Your pets deserve the care of Jon.
Jonathan is wonderful with pets & people. He’s kind & very easy to coordinate plans with. He’s very responsible & makes himself flexible around my schedule/ my dog’s schedule. He takes my dog on nice long walks & Oliver gets excited when he shows up for his next one!! Highly recommended!
I highly recommend Jon as a pet care giver. Jon has taken care of our dogs Pippa, Harvey and Penny. What a sense of relief it is to know such a kind and caring man is caring for our trio. Jon goes above and beyond not only with my dogs, but all the dogs he cares for in the neighborhood. When you see him with a furry friend you initially think it is his own personal pet! That’s how much he loves his charges. I enjoy having such peace of mind when I leave because I know Jon will treat my dogs as if they were his own.
Jon has taken care of my 10-year-old Golden, Micha on a number of occasions. Micha loves spending time with him and he does a great job looking after her. Jon makes sure Micha gets her walks in, he plays with her & recently had to administer ear meds when she stayed with him for 10 days over the holidays. Jon is a kind, compassionate and responsible pet sitter. I would recommend him without reservation.

Schedule
My current schedule is open and available for all of your pet-care needs from house-sitting to drop-in visits to a mid-day walk! I am flexible and accommodating.
