About: After 15 years with my dog, I’ve transitioned to being the go-to dog walker and sitter for my family and friends, and am excited to expand! I have experience caring for dogs in every phase of life, from the energetic puppy days, to the senior days that required more attention. I understand firsthand what it takes to look after an aging dog, from mobility issues, to medication schedules, to just understanding an individual dog’s quirks. But, I’m just as comfortable with the energy and playfulness of puppies and young dogs, and I adjust my approach to fit whatever stage of life a dog is in. Working from home with limited meetings allows me to dedicate the time and care to dogs that they deserve, and I don’t mind the company myself! Whether your dog needs a walk, backyard exercise, feeding, a drop-in check, or someone to cuddle with on the couch while you’re away, I can accommodate your pet's needs! I work from home with a flexible schedule, which allows me to be with pets all day and go for regular bathroom breaks/walks during the day as well. I am also available on weekends! When I’m in a client’s home, I follow their instructions, my goal is to keep their pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, same feeding times, walk schedule, and any medications, so there’s minimal disruption while they’re away. I also make sure to give plenty of one-on-one attention and playtime, keep the home secure and tidy, and stay alert to any changes in behavior, eating, or energy level. I’m also careful with yard safety, checking that fences and gates are secure before letting a dog out and keeping an eye on them the whole time, rather than assuming a fenced yard means no supervision is needed. I also always keep the owner updated with photos or messages during the stay

About: ***AVAILABLE JULY AND AUGUST, I WORK IN AN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL*** I have had animals since I was kid and eventually adopted a dog of my own who had behavioral triggers and social restrictions that helped me learn a lot about dog and human safety. After his passing, I decided to work at the SPCA to have an animals lovin’ and I enjoyed every second of it. Because of my experience, they allowed me to work with the dogs who have a history and require more attentive care; seeing those babes go home is something I will never forget. I take care of my cats at home and we’re early risers! I have a pretty clear schedule except for the months where I am working at my school! I am used to the “closing up” of places (checking water bowls, collecting toys, locking the doors/gates) from my own personal experience and from working at the shelter. About: Hi there! My name is Kristin and I have a lifelong passion for all animals. Growing up on a horse farm, I was surrounded by various animals and always had cats and dogs as pets. Outside of having pets growing up, I have helped out friends and family members with dog, cat, and house sitting for them over the past 10+ years. I have experience with a variety of breeds, ranging from big breeds such as Pitbulls and Boxers to smaller breeds like Yorkies and Jack Russells. I care for all animals with all my heart and your pets will be in loving hands with me! I work full time in Monmouth county, so weekends would be ideal for me. However, if your pet doesn't need to go out as frequently, I can definitely help out during the week. I am typically out of the house between 10am-6pm, so I can play with/walk/feed them before or after those times. Weekends are totally open for me so I can do whatever your pet needs. In my client's home, I will follow their typical routine and do whatever they do to care for their pets. I always respect their home and make sure I leave it as clean as possible.

We did a brief meet-and-greet a few days before and I felt very comfortable because Kit has a really kind way about him, which the dogs and cat immediately responded positively to. He asked good questions when he was unsure about anything and even dealt calmly with a temporary power outage situation.
