âOur dogs LOVE Samantha! They were so excited to see her and spend time with her. She stayed at our house for 2 nights and made sure the dogs were safe and happy. Would definitely recommend!â

âKamryn was a fantastic sitter- she was so communicative and shared plenty of updates and pictures of our two fluffy babies while we were traveling. I canât say enough how grateful I am that she stayed with the pets continuously during the day, so that they had someone present the vast majority of the time we were away.â

I have a big fenced yard where your pup is able to run around freely, and a cute little cute friendly Yorkie to keep your pup company.

About: I am a retired elementary school principal and a life-long dog owner. Spending my days and nights in the company of dogs is a labor of love. I know how stressful it is to leave one's dog in the care of others, and I strive to provide my guests with the level of care and attention that I hope my dogs would be provided in my absence. My home is 100% dog friendly. Dogs are welcome on the furniture and have dog-door unlimited access to a fenced in back yard and deck area. I am pleased to host dogs Up to 40 lbs.. This requirement may be waived for exceptionlly gentle larger dogs. Guest dogs must get along well with other dogs. I have a chihuahua and cannot host aggressive dogs. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
âNicole was great! Very patient with our dog who takes time to warm up to new people. She kept us in the loop, sent updates and photos, and was overall fantastic to our pets! I would 100% recommend.â

âI'm so grateful to have found Bethany! I booked her for 5 nights with walks at my house and she took amazing care of my huge Newfoundland, Ted. He actually had an injury and the care and attention she showed him while I was gone completely warmed my heart. She treated him like he was her own and went overboard to make sure he was walked, fed, snacked, and loved constantly. Bethany also took great care of my home! She was in constant communication with me which really helped my anxiety with leaving him! (First time) Ted absolutelyyyy loved her too. So happy to have found her on here and highly recommend her.â

âI highly recommend Nicholas! He was taking such a good care of our dog for 4 days while we were out of town! He is very quick to respond, I received updates and pictures from him. Will definitely hire him again!â

âAngelica was great! She was very easy to book with and my cats warned right up to her. She sent great photos and videos of them while we were away and was very communicative about when sheâd be there to care for them. We canât wait to book with her again for our next trip!â

âWe can't say enough good things about Chelsey. She was absolutely wonderful with our fur baby, Gertie. It was clear from the moment we met that Gertie was comfortable and happy with her, and when we returned, it was obvious Gertie had a blast! Not only did Chelsey take incredible care of Gertie while we were out of the country, but she also left our home spotless. We truly had peace of mind knowing both our beloved pet and our house were in such capable hands. We highly recommend Chelsey and will definitely be booking her again!â

About: I have worked in the medical systems with elders and have also went to school to be a vet. Caring for others is by nature one of my best talents I work from home running my own businesses. Iâm also new to Houston and need the extra work and companionship. Currently far away from family I have a fenced back yard area. As long as pet has moderate training, can be allowed to sit on the couch. For the safety of the home must not be a furniture destroyer
About: I've taken care of dogs and animals of all kinds since I was 6 years old growing up in the farm. I was born and raised in Montenegro (in Europe). Now I am living in the city and I so very much miss being around animals. Dogs especially are truly amazing and my best friends. I ended up getting my dog Peanut in December of 2021, right after my diagnosis with stage 4 metastasis breast cancer. Peanut has been my life savior and I would do anything to make her happy and have her live the best life. Therefore my reasoning for doing Rover is to find a companion for Peanut to have a good time while I am also enjoying taking care of many other dogs đ I am an accountant and luckily I am working from home. My boyfriend is a Software developer and he works from home too. Your pup will be taken care of very well. My dog is a shihtzu/Havannese mix little girl born October 11th, 2021. I walk them every 2 hours and I take them for long walks to the park morning and late afternoon for longer time as needed. We have a lot of dog toys, including challenging games. I enjoy playing and cuddling with them, and they can sleep anywhere, couch or bed. They will always be under my supervision and attentive care. I have training in giving them medication, releasing them from stress, and an obedience course.
About: I have experience training and caring for dogs and cats. I Specialize in dogs with hearing issues/ deafness. Both of my dogs are graduates of multiple behavioral and obedience classes resulting in our therapy certifications. We visit a multitude of schools, hospitals and other wellness centers. All volunteer work done by my companions and myself is strictly a passion and non profit. I was inspired by a visitation to my grandfather by a golden retriever, when my grandfather was in the hospital for open heart surgery. Seeing my grandfathers reaction to a dog visitation while he was in the hospital was a monumental moment for me that further inspired my passion and drive to work with dogs. I currently work early mornings for a government agency as an officer which gives me a lot of available free time at off times of the day and week. Making me readily available to care for your pets . A fenced yard is a must. My dogs are trained and raised to be curious and outgoing, thus a fence is needed. Although my dogs donât need a leash, I find itâs necessary to generally have a leash attached. I allow my dogs to be curious, and put there noses where many wouldnât generally allow. Itâs important to always cover your stove switches/ burners with dog safety devices!. But ultimately I strongly believe in allowing your dogs and pets to be curious and open to learning. Dogs and cats alike are much smarter then most realize, and I believe this is there first time living as well.. and deserve the best experiences life has to offer!
âCaroline did a great job watching my puppy Winston while I was at work. It was so nice knowing he was so well cared for. The pictures were so great to receive. Thanks again for taking such great care of him. I would definitely book with Caroline again!â

Atlantic Highlands pet parents share their Rover experiences
Marcie was very professional and attentive to details we set up for her in-house stay with our two dogs over the holidays. She graciously met with us twice before the stay to meet us & the pups, and to go over the details. We were very happy with the care she gave to our dogs, and made us feel comfortable and confident things would be under control while we were out of town. She sent us pix, which helped ease our missing of the dogs, and she gave us little tidbits about their day. We would highly recommend Marcie for any of your Rover needs, and we hope she will return again for our next getaway!
