About: I am a retired elementary school principal and a life-long dog owner. Spending my days and nights in the company of dogs is a labor of love. I know how stressful it is to leave one's dog in the care of others, and I strive to provide my guests with the level of care and attention that I hope my dogs would be provided in my absence. My home is 100% dog friendly. Dogs are welcome on the furniture and have dog-door unlimited access to a fenced in back yard and deck area. I am pleased to host dogs Up to 40 lbs.. This requirement may be waived for exceptionlly gentle larger dogs. Guest dogs must get along well with other dogs. I have a chihuahua and cannot host aggressive dogs. About: I have experience training and caring for dogs and cats. I Specialize in dogs with hearing issues/ deafness. Both of my dogs are graduates of multiple behavioral and obedience classes resulting in our therapy certifications. We visit a multitude of schools, hospitals and other wellness centers. I was inspired by a visitation to my grandfather by a golden retriever, when my grandfather was in the hospital for open heart surgery. Seeing my grandfathers reaction to a dog visitation while he was in the hospital was a monumental moment for me that further inspired my passion and drive to work with dogs. I currently work early mornings for a government agency as an officer which gives me a lot of available free time at off times of the day and week. Making me readily available to care for your pets . A fenced yard is a must. My dogs are trained and raised to be curious and outgoing, thus a fence is needed. Although my dogs don’t need a leash, I find it’s necessary to generally have a leash attached. I allow my dogs to be curious, and put there noses where many wouldn’t generally allow. It’s important to always cover your stove switches/ burners with dog safety devices!. But ultimately I strongly believe in allowing your dogs and pets to be curious and open to learning. Dogs and cats alike are much smarter then most realize, and I believe this is there first time living as well.. and deserve the best experiences life has to offer!

About: I’m currently a veterinary technician, and I am comfortable with any animal that needs help! I’ll try my best to make it a pleasurable stay no matter the temperament or heath condition your pet may have. I work full time in the clinic, but I can manage my schedule around the necessities needed for your pet! We can work a schedule together!
