Hi! I’m someone who has loved animals for as long as I can remember. My very first dogsitting job was in 4th grade caring for a family friend’s Shiba Inu, and ever since then I’ve always been the person excited to help with pets whenever I could. When I was in 5th grade, my family adopted a rescue dog from Puerto Rico through the SPCA, which gave me firsthand experience with the patience, love, and understanding rescue animals sometimes need while adjusting to a new home. I previously worked at a dog and cat daycare/boarding facility in Monmouth County, NJ, where I cared for pets of all sizes, breeds, personalities, and energy levels. Through that experience, I learned how to read animal body language, help anxious pets feel comfortable, and safely care for multiple animals at once. While attending school in Maryland, I regularly provided drop-in visits, walks, and overnight care for local families. I have experience caring for both dogs and cats, including senior pets and dogs with incontinence or additional care needs. I understand that every pet is different, and I always aim to provide calm, patient, and empathetic care tailored to their personality and routine. I also deeply care about the humans attached to the pets. Whether someone needs a sitter because of work, travel, health issues, family emergencies, or simply needing support, I provide completely judgment-free care and communication.
