About: I'm a lifelong dog lover with plenty of experience caring for family pets and neighbors' dogs, often stepping in as a trusted pet sitter when they’re away. Over the years, I’ve learned how to handle different breeds and temperaments with patience and care, always making sure each dog feels comfortable and safe in my home. I also have a well-trained dog of my own, who’s friendly and well-behaved, however, when I watch other dogs, they’ll have the house to themselves on occasion, (as he frequently spends time visiting his grandma!), giving them space to relax without the stress of interacting with a new animal. My goal is always to provide a calm, loving environment where your dog feels right at home. I’m currently working freelance and have the flexibility to watch your pet as needed during the week and weekend. With advanced notice, I am able to provide boarding/overnight services. My home offers a clean, open floor plan with plenty of space for your dog to relax and explore comfortably. There’s an enclosed outdoor patio for fresh air and sun, along with two large dog beds topped with clean sheets to help your pup feel right at home. I also provide natural treats as a little extra touch to keep them happy and satisfied. When your pet is staying with me, they’ll be my top priority. I’m committed to giving them my full attention, care, and affection during their visit.

We have no children living at home, although we have an active home with many dog loving grandchildren that visit and since they all have their own dogs, will love playing with yours. Our home is pet friendly, allowing your dog to roam freely. We have a fenced in yard for play and a deck that dogs enjoy sunning themselves on. Going for a walk, taking time to understand your dogs needs and just spending time with your dog is our priority.

About: I grew up with dogs and have pets of my own, so daily care is second nature to me: feeding schedules, potty routines, medications, and knowing when something is off. I have a lot of experience with puppies specifically, including house training, crate training, and reinforcing basic commands so the work you have already put in does not unravel while you are away. I am just as comfortable with shy or high-energy dogs, and I follow whatever routine you have already established rather than imposing my own. I am home most of the day, which means your pet is not waiting hours between check-ins. I build walks and drop-ins around my own pets' routine, so caring for animals is already the rhythm of my day rather than something squeezed in. I keep my bookings limited so each pet gets real attention, and I am flexible on timing for early mornings, midday breaks, and late evening visits. I confirm the schedule with you before the first day and let you know right away if anything needs to shift. In your home, I follow your instructions exactly: same feeding amounts, same doors locked, same spots your pet is and is not allowed. I send photo updates after every visit so you can see how your pet is doing, and I always double-check gates, leashes, and locks before I leave. For walks, I use a secure harness or your preferred equipment and stay on familiar, low-traffic routes. My own home does not have a fenced yard, so dogs are leashed for every potty break and I never leave a dog unattended outside. I also have pets of my own, so I do slow, controlled introductions and give any new dog their own space until everyone is comfortable. I keep water available at all times and know the location of the nearest emergency vet.

Walks are a happy and healthy way to give your pet a bit of exercise and social interaction! 30 minute walks (or longer) can be around your local neighborhood or a nearby park, wherever your dog is most comfortable. If a walk is not the right fit for your dog, a drop-in visit is a great option to provide your pet with some human companionship (potty break and some treats too!). All sizes and breeds are welcome!
