Information Heather B. would like to know about your pet

Share basic information about your pet, including their type, breed, age, size, and overall personality, along with any history of fear, anxiety, or aggression toward people or other animals. Explain your pet’s daily routine, such as feeding times and portions, exercise and walk schedules, potty habits, and sleeping arrangements. Be upfront about health and medical needs, including medications, special diets, allergies, chronic conditions, signs of illness, and your veterinarian and emergency contacts. Describe your pet’s behavior and training, including commands they know, leash manners, known triggers, separation anxiety, or destructive behaviors. Outline house rules like where pets are allowed, furniture boundaries, crating expectations, and how accidents or litter box cleaning should be handled.

A typical day

The day usually starts early with morning check-ins—letting pets out, feeding them breakfast, refreshing water bowls, and giving any medications that are needed. After that comes some playtime or a short walk, depending on the pet’s energy level. Midday is calmer. There’s usually another potty break, some affection and attention, and maybe a longer walk or play session. For cats or more independent pets, this might mean litter box cleaning, brushing, or just sitting nearby while they nap. I often send an update to the owner with photos or notes so they know their pet is happy and well cared for. In the afternoon and evening, routines repeat—feeding dinner, administering medications if needed, and spending quality time together. Before bedtime, there’s one last round of potty breaks, fresh water, and making sure pets are settled and comfortable for the night. The day ends quietly, with the reassurance that the pets are safe, content, and cared for—just as if their owners were home.

Heather is always so amazing with our first baby boy Sanders! She is very reliable and goes above and beyond! When we go away she is always our first call to take care of Sanders! You will love the ease of it and she asks questions I forget about to ensure the best care! 5 stars!
