“Excellent and reliable care! DAMACIA was available with short notice planning and ensured that Bear got everything he needed. She even made sure he got excellent care on the rainy day and bear, like most pups, is not a fan of the rain. I highly recommend DAMACIA and will book with her again when I’m looking for help!”

“Thomas did an amazing job in take care of our two boxers. He was on time, reliable, communicated well, and went above and beyond to ensure that each dog was properly walked, exercised, and cared for. Highly recommend Thomas for any of your pet walking and care needs!”

“Laura is very responsible, super helpful, and does her job perfectly. My furry friend loves her and is super happy every time he sees her. I recommend her and will continue to use her services.”

“Sarah has been giving our dog weekly walks and has been extremely helpful. She’s responsive and very caring towards Polly. My wife and I both have schedules that can change quickly and she’s been very flexible with us which has been a huge help.”

“Bruce is great. He showed up minutes before the appointed time to be certain he was not late. He thrilled the dogs with their first ride in a convertible. He sent plenty of pictures including those that look like the dogs are smiling ear to ear. He was prepared with water during the walk and gave them breaks to rest from the heat. Our yellow lab is usually restless and constantly pulling my husband but she behaved for Bruce. I would highly recommend him.”

About: I’ve watch dogs and cats for four years when needed, from a one time visit to 2 weeks of checking in three times daily. I’ve also handled turtles and fish in the same capacity. Am happy to clean out a litter box, take a dog on a walk, or do more. Any added bookings within 24 hours of the first check in, or during visits, is subject to an additional 16$ fee. I’m a student full time and therefore am out of the house from around 9-2 most days but am otherwise available for your pet care needs. I love to spend some extra time at a clients home giving their animal more love and affection to ensure they don’t feel lonely or abandoned.

About: I’ve had animals since I was a little girl, so I love to take care of dogs and cats! I have experience in training puppies as well as senior dogs and cats. I’m a currently a student and working three days a week, so I would be able to pet sit or go for walks on the weekends. I live in an apartment that your animal can have free rein in. I do not have a backyard, but I am able to take your pet for long walks all day!

“Sarah was amazing! I especially loved the videos she shared. It really made us feel so much better being able to see them! Sarah gave our babies love and cuddles, was very good with communication, and really is a wonderful pet sitter. Highly recommend and will book again when needed. 💕”

“Breanna had the unfortunate duty of cleaning up a shattered glass vase one of my dogs knocked over when Breanna arrived. I appreciate her reaching out to me right away to let me know, and to also reassure me that neither dog (or she fortunately) was injured. She cleaned up the mess thoroughly, which was necessary to prevent injuries but also above and beyond. I also appreciate her continued patience with my two young and dogs. I know they are A LOT when she opens the front door. I'm really pleased to have found Breanna to take my dogs for recurring walks while I'm working. I look forward to her developing a bond with my crazy noodleheads. Highly recommended! 🥇”

“Kiara was extremely reliable and patient with both of my dogs. One has a neurological condition and Kiara was able to handle her with grace. Would highly recommend and use again.”

About: I spent years caring for my American Brittany until she passed this October, giving me extensive hands-on experience with daily pet routines, health monitoring, and providing the consistent love and attention dogs need to thrive. I have equal affection for both cats and dogs, and animals naturally seem to trust me and feel comfortable in my presence. My experience includes understanding different breeds' energy levels and needs - Brittanys are active, intelligent dogs that require both physical exercise and mental stimulation. I know how to read animal body language, maintain feeding schedules, recognize when something might be off with a pet's behavior or health, and most importantly, how to provide the emotional comfort pets need when their families are away. I'm committed to treating every pet with the same devotion I gave my own dog, ensuring they feel secure and loved while maintaining their established routines! Furthermore, I have owned both cats and dogs. I have unlimited amount of free time, so I have no routine and can be very flexible in my schedule. I always like to have the heads-up of what's required. My only commitment is a rigorous gym schedule. I treat every home with the same respect I'd want for my own, following all house rules and keeping pets safe and secure. I maintain their regular routines, ensure doors/gates stay locked, and keep detailed notes about their behavior and activities to share with owners.

About: Hello! I am a huge animal lover with a lifetime of experience caring for pets. I am currently Cat and Dog First Aid Certified by the American Red Cross. I grew up on farm taking care of dogs, cats, and horses. I also worked as a doggie day camp counselor at a pet hotel throughout college. I cared for every size/breed/personality of dog out there. I have experience handling all energy levels, as well as nervous/anxious/scared pups. I work from home Monday-Friday 9-5, so my schedule is pretty flexible. I can provide day care or boarding in my home. I can also do dog walks and drop in visits during lunch breaks, evenings, and weekends. First and foremost, you know your pets best, so I will always follow your instructions to the tee. I will communicate regularly and ask questions, as needed. I have a 1 year old beagle/Rottweiler named Lyla who is great with other dogs. I live in a house with a fully fenced yard. My neighborhood is also walkable and has a small dog park. My house is always clean and dog proof.

“When our last minute trip had last minute dog care issues, Rover and Sarah to the rescue. Sarah we always on time and our puppy was well cared for and documented through the Rover Reports. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. We particularly enjoyed the action shots of our pup walking with a stick in her mouth -a sure sign of happiness.”

About: Growing up surrounded by dogs has made me the dog/animal lover that I am today! I've always cared for them and loved playing with dogs of all kind. I am also currently planning on applying to veterinary school once I graduate from JMU due to my passion for animals. I am available to walk your dog through my very flexible schedule as I do have large gaps in between classes. There is also a dog park in my apartment complex, which I plan on bringing our furry friends too! Taking care of your pet will be my top priority as long as they are in my care. I plan on loving and taking care of your dog as if they were my own because I miss mine dearly! I am currently a full time student with flexibility in my schedule for walks and free on most weekends for drop in visits. I can typically make any schedule work! I am a calm person that allows your pet to take their time coming up to me and saying hello if they need to. I love to walk and be active, but also know to take their time as walking is their favorite part of the day. I love to play any games or throw any balls for an energetic pup.

About: I’ve been caring for pets since I was a kid—helping out friends, family, and neighbors with their beloved animals. I've had dogs of all sizes and ages, from energetic puppies to my sweet senior family dog who's now 15. I truly love all animals and enjoy getting to know their unique personalities. Whether your pet needs playtime, cuddles, or some extra TLC, I’m here to give them the same love and care I’d give my own. I work from home and have a flexible schedule, which makes it easy for me to fit pet care into my daily routine. Whether your pet needs a midday walk, cuddles, or a drop-in visit, I can adjust my day to be there when they need me. I also have reliable transportation, so getting to your home on time is never a problem. At my home, your pet would be welcomed into a safe and loving environment with two friendly resident dogs and a fully fenced-in backyard for secure playtime. If I’m caring for your pet in your home, I’m always respectful of your space and will follow your rules and routines to keep your pet happy and comfortable. Whether at my place or yours, their safety and well-being are always my top priority.

While we were away, I had left instructions for our cleaners to let Caitlyn in the house to walk our dogs. For whatever reason they would not let Caitlyn in. She was patient through a series of text exchanges that lasted 30 minutes, when they finally let her in. This was vital for my crated dogs - otherwise they would have had 9 hours with no potty or exercise. We really appreciated Caitlyn’s persistence and sense of urgency!

Stephanie was so amazing! We are always nervous to leave our pup, but Stephanie was so great and sent detailed updates after each walk/visit with multiple pictures. We will absolutely book with her again as I know Louis was in such good hands while we were away.
