About: I've been volunteering at the Richmond Animal League for over a year and have previous experience working at shelters and dog daycares. I've always loved caring for animals; I used to volunteer at the SPCA when I was younger and I have two dogs of my own that I enjoy taking on walks and playing fetch with in the backyard. I have a part-time job that I work 3-4 days a week (mostly evenings). Other than that, schedule is pretty flexible! I'm available throughout the week, as well as weekends. I'm more interested in drop-in visits and dog walking, but I'll be able to petsit for as long as you need with enough notice! For pet-sitting, I'll be able to stay and take care of your pets for as long as you need me to be there. I can stay all day and even overnight if needed, or just check in periodically throughout the day! I'll carefully follow instructions given on feeding, walks/exercise, morning and bedtime routines, medications, and just overall entertainment. I'm great with dogs of all kinds of energy, whether they want to be active all day long, or just snuggled up on the couch!

About: I've never not had animals in my life! I spent my early years on a working farm and have always had a way with animals. Dogs love me (cats, too!) and I them ❤️ I have many years of experience in the veterinary field and know what to do in emergencies. I am currently working part time and my schedule is flexible. I do work away from home for 5-8 hours a day, split shift. I have dogs amd cats but can keep them separate, if necessary. My dogs are dog friendly, although my beagle mix is very bossy (typical!) Dogs will be in the house with my dogs, but they can be separated, if needed. I can crate, if the parents supply the crate. Dogs will be leash walked in the wide front yard but we can also go across the street to the dog park, too!

About: I have experience for being responsible for animals my whole life. I have 15 pets of my own and love the responsibility. I enjoying interacting with animals and giving them my full attention. Weekly I care for my own pets and would love to care for yours as well. There isn’t anything I’m not willing to do in caring for your pet. About: I have two amazing dogs, Milo and Winter, that play constantly! They are best of friends and always welcome new friends. Milo is an 8 month old puppy still learning house training and making amazing progress. I found him at a rescue in Philly when I was visiting March 2026- love at first site! He clicked so well with my German Shepherd mix Winter, that I rescued in June 2025. Prior to falling in love with these two rescues, I helped foster several dogs through a local rescue- while healing from the loss of my dog of 13 years, Bella. She was a one dog household kind of girl, but Winter was just the opposite. I could tell she needed a friend, and Milo came into our lives at just the right time. I so look forward to helping care for your fur babies and will give them all the walks, plays, and cuddles they might need. I’ll ensure all your care is personalized to your dog’s specific needs. Also, would love to send you pic updates while you’re at work or adventuring! If your dog is in my care for doggy daycare, I will be home with them, unless otherwise discussed with you. If I’m hired to come walk your dog, I’ll give you a detailed update of our walk! I am home and available 7 days a week, unless I’m traveling. My dogs get lots of attention and walks. We love the James River Park system 🫶 I will ask for lots of detail about your pets specific needs so I can curate their care so they feel right at home! A home away from home.

About: I have loved animals since forever. I’ve taken care of pets for neighbors and friends and love meeting new animals! I run track in college, so I would love to bring a furry friend on a run or walk and am more than happy to bathe and feed them afterwards. I’m currently working part time, so I will have lots of time to care for your pets! I’m currently home from college, so I can work until mid August. I will heavily rely on the information given to me about specific animals and their behavior. While the yard is surrounded by trees, there is no fence so I can keep an eye on the dog. There is also a pond in the backyard.

He sent plenty of pictures including those that look like the dogs are smiling ear to ear. He was prepared with water during the walk and gave them breaks to rest from the heat. Our yellow lab is usually restless and constantly pulling my husband but she behaved for Bruce. I would highly recommend him.”

About: I have lived in a golden retriever family my entire life, and dog-obsessed honestly does not do me justice! I know the Richmond area well and love taking dogs to new locations, like dog parks or the river. Since I am an athletic individual I can offer rigorous exercise for even large active dog breeds. I am very trustworthy and responsible, I schedule my time wisely and am always on time for scheduled appointments. I do work full-time, but am often available on evenings and weekends. I would love the opportunity to get to know you and your dog! I work full time, so I am usually busy during the day. However, I am often free on evenings and weekends and love walks and drop in visits. I do not bring dogs to my own home, because I have older goldens at home. But I love to come spend time where your dog is comfy!

About: I have helped care for the family pets since I was age ten. I do not currently have a dog of my own but I have dog sat for family friends by walking, feeding, and playing with the dogs. I currently work full time. But I have off every Tuesday and every other Weekend. I would also be able to assist in evenings as needed as long as I have a heads up so I make sure I leave work at a decent time When training the family pets when I was younger we had them in crates at night, but now they sleep in the bed. I have dog sat for family friends that had a fenced in yard and others that the dogs needed to be walked a few times a day.
