“Jen is terrific with our dog. He loves spending time with her and getting his exercise :-) Communication with Jen is clear and consistent, and she's always been on time. Already re-booked her time.”

“I was impressed with Daniel right from the start! He is a very humble, respectful, responsible, kind young man who loves animals. My dog Sophie immediately took to him and she would have great walks with him. I asked a lot from Daniel when I went on holiday…and he delivered! He came to my home for 10 days to not only walk my dog but also feed her…give her medicine, and as a bonus, he played with her. Socializing w Sophie went a long way because she was alone most of the time. He would always be on time and, when another dog walker canceled, he quickly covered that shift. No questions or higher charge. He sent a lot of photos too. Since I’ve been back from my holiday, I’ve been in poor health. I texted Daniel and he is now my dog walker on days when I’m unable to take Sophie out myself. Again, punctual & always thinking about what’s best for my dog…. For example, He remembers to dry Sophie’s paws when they arrive from a walk in the snow or rain. I highly recommend Daniel as your dog walker or sitter.”

About: Hi! I’m Cora, a student majoring in Food Science in Cornell University’s College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. I grew up in Arlington and will be staying here for the rest of the spring and summer. As a lifelong caretaker and lover of animals, I am really excited to join Rover and show some love to the pets here. I have always been obsessed with animals, and my experience in a variety of contexts makes me confident I can give your pet the best possible care while you’re away. I practically grew up in my local animal shelter, reading to rescue cats and waiving adoption fees through bake sales. As soon as I was old enough, I became an official volunteer, responsible for socializing animals, walking dogs, and adhering to the highest safety and sanitation standards. I became certified in rescue pet welfare through the Fear Free Shelter program, giving me the knowledge necessary to put shy dogs at ease. I also foster puppies through the Lost Dog Rescue foundation, giving me a firm grasp on the needs of younger dogs, from potty training to administering medication. Need a sitter for an exotic pet? No problem! In high school, I took a Career and Technical Education class in the advanced small animal sciences. I gained hands-on experience with countless pet species, from leopard geckos to chinchillas to cockatiels (and everything in between!) I also wrote a research report on the welfare of the school’s rabbits, taught the class cats how to high-five, and became certified in pet first aid through the National Association of Pets and Pet Sitters. Your pet is your family, and as a college student, I deeply understand what it means to be apart from them. Trust me to treat them with as much love, kindness, and respect as I show my own pets. I can’t wait to meet them! Aside from a few virtual appointments, I have a lot of flexibility throughout my day. Your pets would be my top priority - I’d love to go for long walks, play outside, and/or meet a new study buddy :) Safety is my top priority when it comes to pet-sitting. I am certified in Pet First Aid through the National Association of Pets and Pet Sitters. Additionally, through my volunteer position at the Animal Welfare League, I pursued extra coursework through the Fear Free Shelters program to learn about rescue pet welfare and animal psychology. Most recently, when my pair of 8-week-old foster puppies fell ill, I took them to the vet and learned how to administer various oral medications. I provided care at all hours of the day and night, successfully nursing them back to health. Beyond my qualifications, I've been described as exuding quiet confidence that puts animals and people at ease. I prioritize gentleness and kindness in all of my animal interactions; with your pets, I'd focus on minimizing stress because I know how attached pets and their humans are.

“Our dog Winnie loves Aislyn! She used to get so anxious anytime we were traveling, but now she loves seeing Aislyn. It puts us at so much ease having her come by and check on Winnie.”

“Juan has been super reliable, friendly, and good with managing our dog. He is very responsive to texts and goes out of his way to update us on how things go on his walks with our dog!”

“Isabelle walks my goldendoodle furchild every day and she’s such an important part of Maya’s life. To start, she’s super communicative and reliable, which makes it really easy to plan and coordinate walks and dogcare with her. She was also great about learning what behaviors we try to reinforce, Maya’s habits and routines and what Maya eats, which gives me the warm and fuzzies that as a parent, aunt Isabelle is staying consistent with dad’s rules. Isabelle is so great with dogs and has good judgment generally; seeing how she interacts with Maya and hearing her describe how Maya did on a given walk, I trust her implicitly. Lately she’s been really helpful in figuring out fun new walking routes or destinations that cater to Maya’s interests and mood and energy level. Yep Isabelle is a wonderful dog “auntie” and just a delightful human being. I don’t know what her advertised rates are on here, but you should pay them and then some. Isabelle, get after it girl. Charge people what you’re worth! ?”

“Lianna has been great so far with Tucker! First and foremost, she really impressed me with our meet and greet. Asking such thoughtful questions, she showed how dedicated she was to providing the absolute best care to Tucker! With every walk since, Lianna has been diligent about updating me and even going as far as working on some training with Tuck. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and kind care provider for their fur babies!”

“Molly did a great job walking/visiting our goldendoodle this week! She was really responsive, left great messages and photos, and gave our pup the love and attention she needed. We will book her again!”

“Alexandra was absolutely fantastic. She was always reliable on time, flexible as well and very communicative. and judging by the pictures, our dog mozzie loved his walks with her !! Would highly recommend!!”

“We have had our pup stay with Colleen and Sean in the past and they were very helpful to us when we needed a walk in a pinch. They provided excellent communication throughout the process, were on-time, and took care of our pup in some poor weather. We appreciated their assistance and we would walk or stay with them again.”

“Mike was fantastic! This was our first time using a walker for our dog and he not only made the process very easy but extremely comfortable for us. He even came and met us and our dog before we completed the booking. He was very communicative the entire time we were away and it was a huge relief to know our beloved pet was in good hands! We look forward to booking with Mike again in the future.”

About: I grew up surrounded by animals. My family in Bolivia has a beautiful farm, so from a young age I was always around and caring for different animals. After moving here, I grew up with both a cat and a dog, which made me realize how truly special and meaningful animals are in our lives. I have experience dog and cat sitting, and I’ve also cared for a senior dog who was very sick, blind, and deaf. I administered his medication, hand-fed him, and provided constant care and comfort. That experience was very sensitive and taught me patience, attentiveness, and deep compassion. I am calm, responsible, and very patient with animals. I treat them with genuine care and love, always making sure they feel safe and comfortable. As a student, I maintain a structured but flexible schedule. I am fully available on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and weekends. During the rest of the week, I am available before 12:00 PM and after 7:00 PM. Pet care fits naturally into my routine because I plan my days carefully and prioritize the time needed to provide consistent, reliable care. I make sure pets receive proper attention, exercise, feeding, and companionship. When caring for a pet in my home, I carefully follow the owner’s instructions regarding feeding schedules, medication, routines, and preferences. I create a calm, clean, and safe environment so the pet feels comfortable and secure. I always monitor their behavior and comfort level to ensure a smooth adjustment. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space and strictly follow the established routine to minimize stress. I am attentive to details, keep the environment tidy, and provide updates so owners feel reassured that their pet is safe, loved, and well cared for.

This journey taught me the essentials: · 🐾 I understand "misunderstood" breed needs: Pitbulls deserve respectful leadership, not stereotypes. Cocker Spaniels need attention and gentleness. · 🦴 I tailor care to each dog's unique personality: No two dogs are alike, and I know that well. Is yours shy, hyperactive, or a little stubborn? I speak their language. · ❤️ I will care for yours with the same love and knowledge I gave my own. I also work alongside my husband, Carlos, which allows us to provide near-constant supervision. Your dog will enjoy steady companionship, safety, and tons of love. ✅ My Commitment to You When I care for your dog, I don't just follow instructions: · 📱 I'm flexible and communicative: I'll send you photos and updates because I know what it's like to be away from your pet. · 🧠 I provide knowledgeable handling: I understand canine stress signals and adapt activities accordingly (secure walks for strong dogs, gentle play for seniors). · 🏡 I offer a dedicated environment: My schedule and my heart are open to pampering your best friend. 📞 Ready for your dog to have a safe, fun, and love-filled experience? Contact me, and let's talk about how I can help! I adapt my routine to give your pet the rhythm it needs: intense walks for the strong like my Pitbull, naps and pampering for the delicate like my Cockers, and always with updates that show you their day as if you were here!" ** My day is moulded to your dog: controlled energy for strong, patience for sensitive, and photos that steal a smile from you." * I offer personalised and 100% safe care in MY HOME, where your pet will receive:** 🏡 **An adapted space**: Separate areas for active dogs (like my Pitbull) and quiet areas for the most sensitive (like my Cockers). 🐕 **Experience with 'difficult' breeds**: I know how to manage strong energy and anxiety with patience and proven techniques. - 📲 **Total transparency**: I send photos, videos and daily reports so you can see how happy your furry is. - ❤️ **Seasonal love**: While I wait for my 3 dogs (who are in Colombia), your pet will be my absolute priority." **Why in my house? ** "I prefer to care in a controlled environment, where everything is prepared for safety and comfort, no surprises!" _.

Jessica did a great job walking our dog Bruno for 3 weeks. She was attentive to Bruno’s personality, behavior, and needs. We did a meet and greet for initial setup and from there she gave me notes for each walk. She took care of a wound that happened and gave daily notes on the wound to ensure it didn’t need further care. She accommodated schedule changes when needed/available for rain. I hope she is available for any future needs.

First time booking with Anya and she exceeded all expectations! She was incredibly kind, professional, communicative, and amazing with our pups. We felt completely at ease knowing our pups were in such caring hands. It’s clear she genuinely loves what she does, and it made all the difference. We will absolutely be booking with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for exceptional care!

Lei was outstanding. She loved our dogs in our absence, sent lots of pictures and videos, gave a detailed report of how they were doing. She is knowledgeable, and pointed out concerns (one of our dogs had some diarrhea). Would definitely love to have Lei watch them again.
