About: I am a young DC professional with diverse experience caring for dogs, cats, and horses in private and professional settings. I worked at a 10-vet small-animal practice in highschool and college, and have house-sat for 4+ dog homes on numerous occasions. I am more than happy to administer medications, follow prescribed veterinary regimens, and provide extra care for geriatric cats and dogs. I work full time 9-5 in DC and live in Arlington, VA, so I am available early mornings and evenings/nights during the week and throughout weekends and federal holidays in the greater metro area. I can also do mid-day check-ins within a 10 minute walk of Dupont Circle on weekdays. With several years working in a kennel at a premier veterinary practice, my theory of animal husbandry is always informed from an animal health and wellness perspective. I quickly assess each cat or dog’s baseline routine and mannerisms so that I can monitor the pet’s behavior, assess their stress levels, and provide optimum care, attention and play to each animal. I specialize in 3+ night stays and provide multiple check-ins throughout the day to ensure pets are happy and healthy.
