“Paris did an excellent job. She followed my instructions and let me know when she had questions or concerns. I returned home to two happy cats. I'll definitely request Paris again in the future.”

About: I have taken classes in dog behaviors and how they act when they might need a particular action done. I have a NAPPS certification, which is National Association of Professional Pet Sitters that is earned for all small animals, both including dogs and cats. I have had my own very young puppy, so I know how to handle and train them in a gentle manner that they will respond to. I have tons of experience in senior dogs and cats, so I am patient to more slow animals or paying attention to them more and making sure they have what they need. I have an extremely open schedule and can stay over for longer periods of time than most people. I am free almost every single day for hours on end, so finding when I can come over is no trouble. I’m easy to schedule if I need to house sit, and am extremely responsible and willing to stay overnight when needed. I love taking care of animals in their own homes, knowing they’ll feel the most comfortable surrounded by their familiar surroundings. The only thing I care about is that your furry companions are safe and cared for in a way that they don’t feel out of place or missing the love they got before you left them in my care.
“Taylor is amazing! She takes such good care of my animals when I am away (2 cats and a golden retriever). They may have more fun with her than me! I could really enjoy my vacation knowing that my pets were very well cared for!”
“Spencer & Julia took great care of my cat and provided a ton of photos during their time with him! They offered plenty of pets, treats, and cuddles and gave me peace of mind while I was on vacation!”

“Mya stepped in last-minute (under 24 hours’ notice) when my regularly booked sitter got stuck out of town with a canceled flight back. We only had app communication but she took care of everything and had great communication while at my place with my cats. Thanks Mya!”

“Brittany was amazing with my nearly three month old puppy, Ruby! She kept Ruby busy with a walk and playing with all of Ruby’s toys, and by the end of the visit, Ruby was all tired out (which was the goal)! I can’t thank Brittany enough and will certainly be using her again!”

“Aly was so great! She was available last minute and took such good care of my cat. She was thoughtful, asked questions, and was responsive. Would highly recommend her !!”

“Dominique helped me a lot by caring for my dog while I was away. He was punctual and always provided updates. Will definitely be my go to dog sitter!”

“Brenna was great. Some sitters have a problem getting my dog to accept having a leash put on him but Brenna had no problem at all. She was very responsive, responsible and friendly. My dog was in good hands.”

“Amber did a fantastic job taking care of my cats. I returned to three happy cats, that seemed to miss me way less than usual :) They obviously bonded well with Amber, and appreciated her care and pets!”

“As always, Jen took great care of our Dash! She does a wonderful job and is incredibly thoughtful. She also took great pet photos and left detailed notes each day. Highly recommend Jen!”

About: Note: Be sure to check my calendar for availability before booking. Thanks! I adopted my Puerto Rican rescue named Leo in 2019 and he has completely changed my life. He can be reactive on walks and is a super anxious boy in general so I have experience managing nervous dogs. Leo has taught me to see every dog as a cherished family member and loyal companion. When I meet a dog, I want to make them feel as loved and special as they make us feel everyday. My goal is to spend as much time as possible with dogs and I would love to meet yours! I know how exhausting it can be to work and meet your pets needs, and I would love to give you some peace of mind knowing they’ve gotten attention, love, and exercise while you’re busy. I am a student home for the summer and am free until September, but am taking a couple of weekends away so make sure to check my calendar. I am open to spending time with your dog in your home during the day and stay overnight for up to a week. I can do mealtimes and take walks/backyard playtime. And of course, will include endless cuddles.
“Elizabeth was fantastic. Excellent communication and sent plenty of photos to show how cats were doing. My cats are super shy of strangers, but she was able to coax them out and give them some pampering. I would book her again for sure. Happy to give her our highest recommendation. Laura R”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was young, and animals have always been a big part of my life. I’m currently a live-in nanny, and I also care for the family’s dogs. When their owners are away, the dogs stay with me and even sleep in my room so they feel safe and comfortable. I currently work part-time as a live-in nanny, which allows me some flexibility for pet care. However, I do have a busy schedule with regular dog-walking clients, so availability can vary. Please message me first to confirm scheduling before booking. I’ll always do my best to accommodate your needs if I have an open time slot. I prioritize safety, trust, and a calm environment for every pet in my care. I carefully follow each dog’s routine, feeding instructions, and any special requirements provided by the owner.
“Juan is AMAZING!! He went above and beyond with communication and over all care! My pup has special meds and Juan had no problem with it when feeding breakfast and dinner(: Juan went out of his way to go to a pet store to grab a sweater for my pup because it was cold out during their walks 🥹 It was so comforting to know Brody was with someone who goes the extra mile!! 10000% recommend!!!”

About: I’ve taken care of a multitude of different dogs and cats throughout my life - whether it be for friends, neighbors, family, or even coworkers! I have lots of experience in cat care - including grooming, nail trimming, and oral medications. I have 3 cats of my own, so I’m very adaptive to all sorts of cat personalities! My experience with dog care is just as plentiful! I’ve taken many on fun walks, played fetch, groomed fur, and dispensed oral medication. I’m rather good when it comes to pulling on leashes, and I also have experience training young puppies. I’m available at all times during the week! Whether you’re looking for someone to check in on your pup to feed, give bathroom breaks, groom, or play with, I’m available morning, afternoon and evening! The same applies to kitty owners! I always make sure all fenced in homes are securely locked in the event a dog wants to play outside. All leashes and collars will be checked before walks, and if your dog isn’t friendly with other dogs I will be sure to maintain a safe space between myself and other owners. As for cats, I always make sure that all doors are quickly closed and closed all the way to prevent any indoor kitties from escaping. If your cat is outdoor/indoor, I’ll make sure they get back inside safe and sound!
“Korrey was amazing with my. He kept me up to date with everything. He is definitely passionate about animals. It’s the small things like him getting poop bags after I forgot to leave them out. Will definitely call him next time I am out of town.”

About: I’ve grown up surrounded by animals and have cared for both cats and dogs my whole life—from playful kittens and energetic puppies to senior pets who need a little extra love. My experience ranges from large dogs like German Shepherds and Shelties to smaller breeds like Pomeranians. About eight years ago, I moved to a farm, where I gained even more hands-on experience with a variety of animals. Now that I’m away from my childhood pets, I truly miss having that daily connection, but i have found through volunteering at a local shelter in NoVa and caring for other people’s pets has helped to fill that space in the best way. I work full-time in an office from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. (including commute), but I’m available before and after work to help with walks, feedings, or drop-in visits. On weekends, I’m completely free and can provide both short- and long-term care. I live in a 3 story town house with minimal yard, but I live in a very walkable area and enjoy getting outside, so I’m happy to take dogs on walks through the neighborhood, to local parks, or out on nearby trails. I don’t mind fur in my car so transportation to a favorite spot is never a problem!

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Leeway
Katerine & Brian did a great job taking care of my kitten! It was my first time leaving her home alone for multiple days in a row and they made sure they cared for her like their own. I received updates each day with many pictures which made leaving her a little more bearable. I will definitely use them in the future next time I need someone to watch my cat again!

Amanda was incredible!!! We completely forgot to send over the pet care instructions and were unable to communicate due to not having service and she still did literally every single thing that we told her about at the meet and greet. She was kind and attentive and the animals all loved her!
The most wonderful experience with Boris! He is so friendly, cares about what he’s doing and the most professional. My cat is very shy and she immediately took to him which was a first! He really spent loving time with her and sent any feedback or messages needed. Cannot recommend more highly!
