“We booked with Mya again because she’s excellent! She will always be our first choice when we need a cat sitter. She’s very thorough in her updates, sends great pictures, and our kitties can always relax around her!”

“Jennifer did an incredible job caring for our cat! She was thoroughly communicative, kind, and attentive to our cat's needs. She's professional and respectful and we highly recommend her!”

“Spencer and Julia kept me posted throughout the weekend, provided several pictures, and spent a lot of quality time with my cat. Really appreciate their help and communication, and would recommend them to others.”

About: I have taken classes in dog behaviors and how they act when they might need a particular action done. I have a NAPPS certification, which is National Association of Professional Pet Sitters that is earned for all small animals, both including dogs and cats. I have had my own very young puppy, so I know how to handle and train them in a gentle manner that they will respond to. I have tons of experience in senior dogs and cats, so I am patient to more slow animals or paying attention to them more and making sure they have what they need. I have an extremely open schedule and can stay over for longer periods of time than most people. I am free almost every single day for hours on end, so finding when I can come over is no trouble. I’m easy to schedule if I need to house sit, and am extremely responsible and willing to stay overnight when needed. I love taking care of animals in their own homes, knowing they’ll feel the most comfortable surrounded by their familiar surroundings. The only thing I care about is that your furry companions are safe and cared for in a way that they don’t feel out of place or missing the love they got before you left them in my care.
“Aimee is great. Great with communication and very accommodating - sometimes our plans have changed while away and she is great to make it work. Plus great with our two cats!”

About: I’m a prospective vet student with many years of experience walking, playing with, and caring for all kinds of animals! I can train young dogs. I have complete availability, meaning I have plenty of time to take care of your animals, spending time playing with them and loving on them. I have a fenced in big backyard. I have plenty of experience crating dogs, big and small, and I have no issue handling even the big dogs.
“Taylor is patient and kind and was able to get my nervous cat to warm up to her and to seek her out for play and cuddles. Thank you Taylor for the peace of mind you gave us while being away from our cat.”

“Drew was great with my “quirky” dogs while I was out of town. She took great care of them. She was on time, provided photos, kept me informed, etc. I would definitely use Drew again in the future.”

“Aislyn was wonderful with our puppy Scout. She was super responsive, on-time, and provided great pictures and write-ups of our visit. That was especially important to us as Scout is our first puppy and we were nervous about leaving her home alone for the first time. Scout always looked so happy in the pictures and when we came home from work!”

“Aly was so great with our girls! They warmed right with her. She followed all their care instructions and sent adorable photos daily. Can’t wait to book her for our next trip.”

“Brittany was great and Kramer loved her!! She was also so helpful with Kramer’s special instructions (since she was just spayed)! We will definitely use Brittany again!”

About: Been in Arlington since 2017 and despite having not owned since with family, have a lot of experience walking and sitting for friends and family. V much want to hang out with your pup, super down for walks, and sitting if theres a need! Moreso into this for my own personal emotional regulation (has a full-time job), so time/rates absolutely negotiable. Not really sure whats considered experience here, so will put amount of time I've lived with. I'd do this for less than $10 a walk if I could. I have a full-time, in office job, so I am much more suited for walks and longer hangs than I really am overnight sitting. My current apt building doesnt allow for pets, so if sitting were a thing, it'd have to be at yours. That said, I would take your pet out and they'd do things with me, my SO, and very likely also my friends. Happy to abide by your rules with le pup, would just need a rundown or list of things/actions you keep so as to try not to change much for them.
“We needed someone on short notice and Alexandria responded immediately. She was friendly, easy to communicate with, and made the process stress-free. She was great with our 8-month-old rescue, Poppy, who’s still adjusting and can be reactive on leash. Alexandria was patient and understanding, handling Poppy thoughtfully. We loved the photos and report card after each visit and would definitely book Alexandria again—Poppy would be happy to see her too!”

“Lily was excellent. She was very attentive and caring with our cat. She took excellent care of our home on drop in visits. She followed all directions and improvised when needed. She looked after our cat and house for two weeks and always provided great feedback. We highly recommend her.”

“Dominique is an exceptional dog sitter! He took amazing care of our large, active dog, managing his energy with ease and ensuring he was happy and well-exercised throughout his stay. Dominique is a fantastic communicator, always prompt and clear in his updates, which gave us peace of mind while we were away. He truly went above and beyond—not only taking excellent care of our pup but also helping out around the house, like taking out the garbage. We couldn’t recommend him more highly and will definitely book him again!”

“I contacted Ella at the last moment last week and although we did not have the chance to meet, Ella came through 5 stars in helping out with our demanding hounds. I left several texts and Ella took that input and made a good experience for the girls. So we repeated the exercise a week later, and again Ella helped us out with minimal input. Ella is thoughtful and mature, and apparently is VERY comfortable around dogs, and I'll certainly ask her for help in the future.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - High View Park
Stacy was extremely attentive and went above and beyond with our cats. One of our cats had thrown up before her visit and without us having to ask Stacy cleaned it all up and sent us photos so that we could help determine if there was anything to be concerned about. I would highly recommend Stacy. Her communication was also exceptional!
Daniel is a great dog walker and pet professional! When my pop had some stomach issues while I was away, Daniel was communicative, concerned, and proactive. He put my mind to rest about the situation, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly, highly recommended!

Richard has been wonderful to work with— he is responsible, organized, and easy to communicate with. He took great care of our babies while we were gone for two weeks. We can enthusiastically recommend him as a cat sitter and will definitely work with him again.

Maia is definitely my cats' favorite pet sitter. It's clear from her pics and updates that she really got to know them. Usually they act out a little while we're away, and there was none of that. I can tell they were very happy and well taken care of. I would absolutely want to work with Maia again.
