About: I have two senior pups of my own! One has arthritis and the other needs insulin shots daily, so I’m very familiar with and love going at the pet’s pace on walks 🥰. I worked at a professional pet care company this past summer, and have been taking care of my neighbor’s animals since I was a little kid! I am a college student currently so my schedule is quite interesting! I’d love to use my free time to take care of your babies, and I greatly enjoy the mood boost and exercise that comes from dog walking. My main priority when taking care of an animal is their comfort and needs. If we are going for a walk, I will make sure their harness is secure and we do not interact with other people or animals (just to avoid a reactive situation). If your pet is a senior, I’ll happily go at their own pace! I have two senior babies myself so they can’t be outside for as long anymore. The same goes for shy dogs, I will never force your pet into a situation where they seem uncomfortable being, such as going for a walk when they are fighting the harness being put on.

I am extremely attentive and will offer quality enrichment so you can come home to a happy dog! As a pet owner myself I am hyper-aware of my dogs needs and I will make sure ur puppy is safe (will watch what they are chewing on, make sure sidewalks are safe for walking etc.)

About: Hi, I'm Chloe! I am 25 and am located in Arlington. I love working with animals, and have quite a bit of experience myself. I have a sweet kitty named Pumpkin, who is my very best friend! I am from a small town, Berryville, where I grew up with many dogs, cats, hamsters, guinea pigs, you name it! About: My family has pampered and spoiled our yellow Labrador for 15 years of walks, runs, fetch, cuddles, and treats. We’ve cared for him from his crazy puppy years to his gentle old soul. I’m a whole-hearted dog lover and care for other dogs like they’re my own. I have been a Rover dog walker/sitter for over five years now, and have loved each and every dog! I have a flexible work-from-home schedule! I am a graphic designer, so I often work independently with a light meeting schedule. I can accommodate one walk during the work days, and any other walks needed in the evenings. While walking dogs, I make sure to walk them safely distanced from traffic and passing cars. I am always respectful of my client’s homes and neighborhoods, and make sure to clean up after their pups!

About: I grew up around lot's of golden retrievers (and other dog breeds too)! I love all animals but am most experienced with bigger, more active dogs. The golden retriever my family has now is vastly different from the golden I had growing up. Harper our first dog, adored people but displayed a lot of leash aggression around dogs she didn't know. Millie, our current dog, also loves people but wants to befriend any and all dogs she passes. Having lots of experience walking both of them, I know how drastically different dog personalities can be. With Harper I got very used to changing course on my walks to avoid other dogs and only letting her interact with dogs she knew and owners I trusted. Communicating with other dog owners while out on a walk is very important to me because every dog is different and sometimes interactions can be unpredictable. Regular exercise, mentally stimulating play/interaction, affection, attentive care, and proper training are very important aspects of having a pet. I love going on long walks and hikes, playing fetch in nearby parks, and genuinely enjoy looking after pets. I am also very passionate about cleaning up after dogs and leaving no trace. During a home visit, you can expect that I will feed and medicate your pet if necessary (I only have experience with oral meds), refill their water, let them out to use the bathroom, give them lots of cuddles, and play or walk them till they are tired out. I have lots of available time at the moment while taking a break from travel and would love to fill it looking after local pets! I have a fully fenced in backyard, a friendly and an energetic two-year-old golden named Millie who loves making new friends, and lots of experience with crate training.

I I have a 4 year old lovable Berner and a 1 year old daughter. I love dogs of all sizes especially ones that love attention and lots of scratches. I also love cats and would be happy to spend time with them! I will be off for the summer so I have a very flexible schedule. I will be home most days taking care of my own dog and daughter. About: I've had dogs and cats in my home and I’ve learned that every pet just wants love, attention, and belly rubs! My best friend is a vet tech, so I’m always learning fun tips and tricks to keep pets healthy and happy. Being the oldest sibling, I’ve had years of practice taking care of things (and loving it!). Your pet will be treated like family. I also have my own cat (though he doesn't stay with me right now), so I hope it sets your mind at ease knowing I'm also a pet mom myself :) I'm currently working full-time 8 AM - 5 PM, but I'm looking for any hours outside of that. If you are located anywhere in the DMV area (DC, Arlington, etc.) I have no problem commuting to find your pet for their evening walk. Additionally, I live in a pet-safe apartment in Ballston, VA and have no problem with taking in pets also. I have a 2 Bed, 2 Bath apartment. I currently don't have my cat with me, but will bring him in the next 6 months. Otherwise, the apartment does have a big living room space and I've bought a litter box for my own cat to have later. The apartment complex has a designated area for dogs and other pets to be walked. I will take time to get to know your pet and cater to them :)

About: I have been taking care of pets for about 17 years now. Neighbors, friends, and family members have trusted me to take care of their pets for years now. I make sure pets are loved, nourished, bathed, walked, and played with in a loving manner. I can be trusted to make sure your pet is safe, happy, and healthy while they are in my care. I work a full-time job, so I am only available late afternoons-evening, or weekends. I am available for long-term commitments, or flexible schedules. I cannot provide home services at this time, so drop-in visits and walks are best for me and your pup. I currently work a full-time job, so I’m not available for daytime drop-ins/walks, but I have a steady schedule and can make regular commitments work as part of my routine. I always keep a close eye on pups in my care, to make sure they are well fed, walked, and cared for. Your dog’s wellbeing is my utmost concern!
