About: Hi! I’ve been raised with dogs and puppies since I was a child and played a primary role in taking care of them. After a lifetime full of dogs, I now have a cat! I love animals and would love to take care of your pet while you’re away. I am available for pet sitting and dog walking Monday through Thursday. I am a full time photographer, so I have the flexibility in my schedule to work whenever you need. Please reach out so I can meet your furry friend! I’m a full time photographer, so I have lots of flexibility in my schedule to take care of your pet. My work is generally in the evenings, so I have the entire day free. I am committed to both the safety and comfort of both you and your pet. I always request strict guidelines in advance to make sure I can do exactly what your pet needs. I interact as minimally as possible with your home, only using the space to play with your pet and nothing more.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 8 and have a Beagle who lives at my parents’ house. He’s 17 now so I have experience with older dogs. My boyfriend’s family has a small toy poodle who we have dog sat multiple times. Additionally, I have done dog walking for pets in the area. I usually take them out during my lunch break for a stroll around the block! I work from home everyday. My schedule on Monday’s and Fridays is typically pretty open. I am around most weekends so I have flexibility. My boyfriend, who also loves dogs works from home 2-3X per week so your pooch will get a lot of attention! Since I am currently in an apartment, smaller to medium sized dogs would be best. We also have a small balcony which dogs tend to love. Bonus: we have turf grass on there so they love it even more.

About: Not just another dog lover! I’ve had at least one dog, plus, at all times. Most from a puppy until departure. Experience with rescued dogs in making them feel comfortable/relaxed. We had a rescue from Hurricane Katrina. I’m very patient, caring, & don’t mind petting or playing all day. I’m hoping to give them the love and care when you can’t be ther. I work from home several days during the week and can properly share my time for walks, feeding, and playing. I have a Cocker Spaniel who gets along with other dogs well. I’m home in the evenings and weekends. I live in a pet friendly apartment complex with plenty of grassy areas and usually take my dog on a walk in the neighborhood. I don’t have any furniture or bed restrictions. I am happy to sit at your home, if preferred.

About: When my friends go out of town I am the go-to friend to help pet sit. I am active and love to move so walks are not a chore, but a way to keep me moving. I am a high stimulation person, so I love to find creative ways to keep pup engaged. If your dog is happy to chill and just needs some company, it's also good for me to take a break and get some cuddles. I work remote and have been considering getting a dog with my partner for a couple months now. It's not quite the right time for us, we want to commit fully and are still waiting to meet the perfect pup. In the meantime, I want to fill all the moments I'm available with some pup love. My workday is flexible and I'm free most evenings. I dont start work until 8:45am, I get a guaranteed free hour in the middle of the day, and can usually fit in another walk around 4/5 (and again in the evening if I'm watching the whole day). My partner goes to work during the day, so most likely I'll be the only person your pet interacts with for the day in the home. If I'm going to your home, I'm respectful and will follow any guidelines you set up. I like to know what routines the pet expects, I'll follow your directions and instructions to give your pet the care they're used to. Don't be afraid to communicate your expectations thoroughly! Also, I live near to Lubber Run park, so long nature walks for boarders is a nice perk! Also as a note, I only care for a single household at a time. I won't have multiple pets in the home or on walks aside from your pets without getting express permission for any special cases.

About: I moved around a lot as a child, so I never had a dog of my own growing up. That didn't stop me from finding every opportunity to spend time with dogs, though. I made friends with every dog in the neighborhood and loved joining in on walks, games, and playtime whenever I got the chance. Today, I volunteer with local shelters to walk their dogs, and I regularly help an elderly friend care for and walk her dog as well. Dogs have always seemed to gravitate toward me, and when they meet me, they usually decide I've been professionally trained in tummy rubs. 😊 I genuinely enjoy getting to know each dog's unique personality and making sure they feel comfortable, safe, and happy while we're together. Whether it's a long walk, playtime, or just some extra attention and affection, I'll treat your dog like they're my own. I currently work part-time, which gives me a very flexible schedule during the week. I'm generally available between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM for walks, drop-in visits, and quality time with your pup. Pet care fits naturally into my routine, and I enjoy spending my day staying active and giving dogs the attention, exercise, and companionship they deserve. I am dependable, attentive, and respectful of both pets and their owners' homes. I will carefully follow your instructions regarding walks, feeding, medications, routines, and any special needs your dog may have. I believe consistency and trust are important, and I'll do everything I can to make your pet feel comfortable, safe, and loved while in my care.

About: I've had dogs and cats in my home and I’ve learned that every pet just wants love, attention, and belly rubs! My best friend is a vet tech, so I’m always learning fun tips and tricks to keep pets healthy and happy. Being the oldest sibling, I’ve had years of practice taking care of things (and loving it!). Your pet will be treated like family. I also have my own cat (though he doesn't stay with me right now), so I hope it sets your mind at ease knowing I'm also a pet mom myself :) I'm currently working full-time 8 AM - 5 PM, but I'm looking for any hours outside of that. If you are located anywhere in the DMV area (DC, Arlington, etc.) I have no problem commuting to find your pet for their evening walk. Additionally, I live in a pet-safe apartment in Ballston, VA and have no problem with taking in pets also. I have a 2 Bed, 2 Bath apartment. I currently don't have my cat with me, but will bring him in the next 6 months. Otherwise, the apartment does have a big living room space and I've bought a litter box for my own cat to have later. The apartment complex has a designated area for dogs and other pets to be walked. I will take time to get to know your pet and cater to them :)

About: Been in Arlington since 2017 and despite having not owned since with family, have a lot of experience walking and sitting for friends and family. V much want to hang out with your pup, super down for walks, and sitting if theres a need! Moreso into this for my own personal emotional regulation (has a full-time job), so time/rates absolutely negotiable. Not really sure whats considered experience here, so will put amount of time I've lived with. I'd do this for less than $10 a walk if I could. I have a full-time, in office job, so I am much more suited for walks and longer hangs than I really am overnight sitting. My current apt building doesnt allow for pets, so if sitting were a thing, it'd have to be at yours. That said, I would take your pet out and they'd do things with me, my SO, and very likely also my friends. Happy to abide by your rules with le pup, would just need a rundown or list of things/actions you keep so as to try not to change much for them.

About: Hello there! I’m Kathleen, I am working from home most days and would love to spend time with your cat or dog! Whether it’s a daytime walk or a long term stay, i have experience with dogs of all sizes and temperaments and many stages of life, and health. I also love feline friends, and even have cared for a very temperamental bird. My own dog just passed away and required a lot of extra help in his older days. Patience and kindness. ♥️ I have a full-time job, but I’m working from home most days. Typically Thursdays are office days but I have a great deal of flexibility! That means a lot of walks and play throughout the day. Whether your baby is coming for a sleepover here or me to you, I’ll do my best to keep them happy and stress free while we are waiting for you guys to reunite. :)

About: I have had a mini Goldendoodle for the past five years and raising him has made me adore dogs. Seeing all their unique personalities is enjoyable and I love giving them the best life possible. I regularly watch his cousin so I have plenty of experience handling multiple dogs. I work from home so have a lot of flexibility throughout the day. I currently walk my dog a few times throughout the day to get out of the house. I provide attentive, respectful care in clients’ homes by following their instructions and maintaining their dog’s normal routine. About: I’ve been around pets my entire life. I grew up with both small and large dogs with all kinds of different needs. Truly, I understand that each pet has its own unique needs which I’m patient and willing to understand. As an adult I’ve owned/lived with 3 small dogs (pug, 2 cavalier King Charles spaniels) and a cat so I’m fully capable of taking care of multiple animals at once. I’ve cared for both my cavaliers from puppy through their seniors years including one being in a wheel chair his last year of life so I have experience with dogs in all years of their life.
