I’m currently in school full time at GWU, but I only have classes 3 days/ week, so I’m looking for something to fill my time. I am home almost all afternoons, evenings and weekends.

I live in an apartment building on an end unit which is surrounded by a quiet, very friendly and walkable neighborhood. Depending on the service, I’d be able to and happy to bring dogs on long walks around our neighborhood.

Please let me know if your pet needs any additional or special care. I know that your pet means the world to you, so anything I can do to give the best care possible would be helpful. Also, if your pet has any sort of triggers or behavioral concerns please make me aware of that as well.
A typical day
I love to stimulate dogs through long walks as well as indoor play time! I know through my experience with my own dogs, it’s essential for them to get exercise nearly every day for their physical health and mental wellbeing.

Pet care experience
I grew up always taking care of my Labrador Retrievers! I’d be the primary care taker since I was home before my parents, so I’d be responsible for feeding and taking them outside.

Our dogs LOVED their time with Sydney. When we got home from our trip, our dogs were not super needy because of all the love that Sydney gave them. She was receptive to our instructions for our older dog and communicated well. We’ll definitely use her again soon!
Sydney was super great! Communicative, willing to work with my changing schedule, and most importantly, took amazing care of my cat and gave me great peace of mind that my cat was in safe and capable hands.
Sydney is the ONLY person I trust to watch my dog Queenie. My dog has always been a bit anxious and afraid of strangers but she has loved Sydney from day one. Sydney has always had so much patience and knows how to approach dogs that are a bit kiddish. She also gives her long walks and cuddles! Whenever I leave Queenie with her I am able to enjoy my trip away because I know she will be so well taken care of. Without hesitation, I would 100% recommend Sydney to walk or pet sit for anyone I know.
Sydney has been around animals her entire life; our first two rescue labs came to live with us before she was born. Since then we have almost always had two labbies under the roof - along the way we have had cats, guinea pigs and a bearded dragon. Sydney is an animal lover and very responsible. She even taught one of our labs to understand spanish and another to do many tricks including shake, down and roll-over. I have no hesitation with her taking care of any of our animals.
