Having had dogs that were escape artists growing up, I am mindful of any environmental hazards outdoors, keeping an eye out for signs of digging under fences, and keeping fence gates firmly shut.

I've taken care of my own Westie and neighbors' pets ranging from small toy Yorkies to large Rottweilers while growing up since I was a child until they have grown into their old age as an adult. I have also helped care for dogs that have anxiety in more recent years.
