“Guiselle was absolutely wonderful! She was very kind, patient, and professional from start to finish. She sent great pictures during the walk and kept me updated with clear and consistent communication, which I really appreciated. The routes were well planned, and she made sure my dog got a thorough walk, even exceeding the scheduled time. She also made sure my dog had water for hydration afterward, which meant a lot to me. It was obvious she truly cares about the dogs she works with and takes her role seriously. I felt completely comfortable and confident leaving my dog in her care and will absolutely be booking with her again. Highly recommend Guiselle to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog walker!”

“Dominique had great communication with me about our dog Lincoln. He’s got a positive and professional demeanor. Our dog is a big boy (125 lbs ) and Dominique handled him with ease. Lincoln instantly connected with Dominique, not something he always does with strangers. Dominique most definitely has a way with dogs. His interaction and care was as if Lincoln was his own pet. Dominique’s communication with me was great up to meeting and during the interaction with our boy. Very amicable person. I will use Dominque again.”

“Jen is terrific with our dog. He loves spending time with her and getting his exercise :-) Communication with Jen is clear and consistent, and she's always been on time. Already re-booked her time.”

“What a pleasure Liliana is! She was so patient with both me & my newly adopted pup. She really took the time to understand both of our needs! So happy I found a great dog walker in the area!”

About: I’ve taken care of and raise 4 dogs and 1 cat! I miss my family pets since I’ve moved and would love to take care of yours! I work remote so I am able to drop by and let your pet out/ play/ walk your pet as needed! I understand feeling guilty about letting your pet be home alone all day and I’m here to help! I will always be cautious of entering your home and leaving your home to prevent any type of escapes and make sure that they are content before I leave and make sure nothing is in reach to maximum safety!
About: I absolutely love animals and I currently have a 10 year old dog named Zara. Growing up I've had all different types of dogs generally larger ones but I have also taken care of smaller dogs and cats for family and friends. I am also used to dogs of different temperaments and have experience with dogs that are reactive to other dogs. I am currently working from home four days a week and have flexibility for walks and drop ins during the week and on weekends. I can also do last minute requests when available. I can give your pets lots of attention and care! I can’t wait to meet them. I like to treat all of the pets as if they are my own making sure they are well take care of during walks and drop in visits.
“Brittany walked my dog Karuna every afternoon during a busy work week for me. She was very communicative and shared details from every walk. I’m grateful for the attention she gave Karuna and Karuna is very thankful for all the belly rubs!”

“Anne did a great job communicating her availability and being timely on our scheduled walks. She also followed our requests to walk certain routes and handled Biscuit's route preferences and hesitations during the walk well. I really appreciate her patience and professionalism to keeping us in the loop on GPS tracking and his status during the walk. Thanks Anne!”

“Camila was wonderful! She helped us out in a last minute situation where we needed a walker. She was quick to respond and accept the request, and receptive to all of the information I sent along! Camila sent pictures and provided us with a detailed walk card and I felt very comfortable with my pup in her care. Thanks, Camila!”

“Josephine is amazing walking our two doggies! They are a little tricky to deal with and she always takes the best care of them! One of our dog’s used to bark so much at her and now she has really calmed down because Josephine talks to her and pets her. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dog walker! :)”

“I was impressed with Daniel right from the start! He is a very humble, respectful, responsible, kind young man who loves animals. My dog Sophie immediately took to him and she would have great walks with him. I asked a lot from Daniel when I went on holiday…and he delivered! He came to my home for 10 days to not only walk my dog but also feed her…give her medicine, and as a bonus, he played with her. Socializing w Sophie went a long way because she was alone most of the time. He would always be on time and, when another dog walker canceled, he quickly covered that shift. No questions or higher charge. He sent a lot of photos too. Since I’ve been back from my holiday, I’ve been in poor health. I texted Daniel and he is now my dog walker on days when I’m unable to take Sophie out myself. Again, punctual & always thinking about what’s best for my dog…. For example, He remembers to dry Sophie’s paws when they arrive from a walk in the snow or rain. I highly recommend Daniel as your dog walker or sitter.”

About: I've been taking care of pets in my neighborhood and with friends/family since I was 10, and I've really built up a passion and know-how for animal care. Here's what I'm good at: * I've got experience with all sorts of dogs, from bouncy puppies to chill older dogs, so I can figure out what each one needs. * Cats of every age, from playful kittens to senior felines – I get their needs. * I'm also really good at caring for senior dogs and cats, making sure they're comfy and happy with special routines. As I am currently unemployed, I have a flexible schedule and can accommodate most day and night requests, whether it's a midday walk or vacation check-ins. I prioritize the safety and well-being of every pet in my care. I am meticulous about following all pre-established rules of the home and pet, ensuring a comfortable and secure environment for them. I am also flexible and adaptable, willing to adjust to the specific needs and preferences of each animal and their owners.
About: I have experience with all shapes and sizes of dogs and cats, as well as reptiles (I even have one of my own, his name is Ollie)! I have experience with administering oral, topical and subQ medication as well as things like inhalers. In addition to feeding the pets, walking dogs and changing cat litter, I particularly love just spending time with your pups and kitties and giving them whatever they need to be happy. I could spend hours brushing cats or dogs and routinely give baths for my puppy, Samoa. I’m a big cuddler but also love a good hike in the forest. I am home for the summer after graduating college and will be attending veterinary school at VMCVM in the fall! Animals are my whole life so besides also working at the VEG ER for Pets in Falls Church this summer I would love to get some more pet time by doing Rover :) I have worked as a Veterinary Nurse for the last 4 years, including 1.5 at a high-volume emergency hospital. I am certified in pet CPR and first aid, and have loads of experience administering medication (oral, subcutaneous, intramuscular, etc.). I also always say that if I wasn't going into vetmed I would have wanted to be a professional groomer - I looove giving a good spa day! Other than that, I’m great at being punctual and will make sure everything your pet needs will be at the right time, place, and the right thing. Both my work experience and my passion for vetmed fuel me to make sure your kiddos have the best experience possible, whether it’s walking, dropping in or overnight stays!

I have a cat and I understand that some pets may have a different personalities and need different approach.
About: I’ve grown up surrounded by animals my entire life — from our childhood Irish Setter, Sadie, to our five cats and three birds. Beyond family pets, I’ve also cared for my own animals, including my boss’s elderly Chihuahua, Tu, who is now a sweet 15‑year‑old “little old lady” that I look after entirely, as well as my pony, Sea Star. I bottle‑fed Sea Star as a child, trained him to ride, and taught him to pull a cart throughout high school. I have hands-on experience caring for a wide range of animals. I dog‑sat for our neighbors for two summers, managing their eight rescue dogs with no issues. I also volunteered to feed and care for a friend’s 13 horses once a week, morning and night, throughout an entire winter. Over the years, I’ve taken responsibility for all of our family pets as well. I’m comfortable with animals of every temperament, size, and background, and many people say I have a natural ability to get animals to warm up to me quickly. I treat every animal as a valuable, sentient creature deserving of respect, patience, and kindness. My priority is always to make them feel safe, loved, and well cared for. I have full availability on Friday and Saturdays. Sundays I am usually busy from 8am-3pm. As for Tuesdays-Thursdays I am available throughout the morning up to 12pm and then my availability reopens at 6:30pm-7pm. I'm specifically looking for housesitting/pet-sitting jobs! I believe that they way a person treats animals reveals their true character so I go out of my way to show honor, patience and tender love to all animals, no matter there species or personalities. I will prioritize creating a calm, safe, and loving environment for every animal. I will also follow all rules and routines to ensure that every animal under my care is comfortable and not thrown off. In a client’s home, I will maintain their established feeding schedules, exercise routines, and any training or behavioral expectations the owner has in place. I make sure water is always fresh, the space stays clean, and the pet receives plenty of attention and any reassurance they need. I’m attentive to body language and comfort levels, and I adjust my interactions to match each animal’s personality and needs. Safety is always my top priority. I double‑check doors, gates, and enclosures, monitor for any signs of stress or illness, and ensure that walks, playtime, and outdoor time are supervised and appropriate for the pet’s age, energy level, and temperament. I also keep owners updated with messages and photos so they feel confident and connected while they’re away. My goal is for every pet to feel safe, loved, and genuinely cared for, and for every owner to know their animal is in trustworthy, capable hands.
About: Not just another dog lover! I’ve had at least one dog, plus, at all times. Most from a puppy until departure. Experience with rescued dogs in making them feel comfortable/relaxed. We had a rescue from Hurricane Katrina. I’m very patient, caring, & don’t mind petting or playing all day. I’m hoping to give them the love and care when you can’t be ther. I work from home several days during the week and can properly share my time for walks, feeding, and playing. I have a Cocker Spaniel who gets along with other dogs well. I’m home in the evenings and weekends. I live in a pet friendly apartment complex with plenty of grassy areas and usually take my dog on a walk in the neighborhood. I don’t have any furniture or bed restrictions. I am happy to sit at your home, if preferred.
Arlington Forest dog parents share their Rover experiences
Albedardo is such a genuine and trustworthy guy! We love him and so do our pups! Our little dogs are like our children so we need to be sure that anyone we entrust their care to is going to treat them with love and kindness. Albedardo does this and then some. Absolutely top class young man, super reliable and flawless communication always keeping us informed of even the tiniest details so that we’re never left wondering how the visit went and how the dogs are doing when we’re not there. Highly recommended!

Ann went above and beyond. Bandit was having an off day and there were several unexpected challenges throughout the visit, but she handled everything with patience, kindness, and professionalism. Rather than rushing him, she took the time to earn his trust and make sure he was comfortable before heading out. Her communication was excellent, despite me being unavailable to answer questions while I was with my trainer, and it was clear she genuinely cared about Bandit’s wellbeing. I’m incredibly appreciative of the extra effort she put in and would gladly book her again.

Highly recommend Juan as a dog walker. Communication is excellent - prompt responses and regular photo updates during walks. It's clear he genuinely cares about the dogs in his care and takes his clients needs seriously. Dependable, friendly, and professional. 5/5 stars!
Laurie did a great job with our rambunctious bernedoodle puppy! She is reliable, very punctual and caring. She was able to help us on short notice and we really appreciated knowing that we could trust her with our puppy while my husband and I were unable to take her on her morning walks for a couple days. I would recommend her to anyone!

Kyle is awesome! From the very first meet-and-greet, he and my dog got along right away. He makes every walk fun and engaging, and it’s clear that he genuinely cares about the dogs he works with. My dog is always excited to see him, and I have complete confidence that he’s in great hands. I would definitely hire Kyle again and highly recommend him as a dog walker.

Nicole is so, so good with anxious dogs like mine. She has a calm energy but isn’t a pushover. That’s important because anxious dogs need to know that someone is in charge. She totally won Ralphie over. If at first he didn’t want to walk far, she still stayed for the full 30 minutes just to pet and talk to him. After a couple of weeks, he totally trusted her and was much more relaxed about walking further. I really can’t say enough good things about Nicole! Ralphie loves her. She’s a gem.
