“Our first 2 experiences with Rylee were great! She came over to walk our energetic golden retriever and he was spoiled with a walk and treats. We will be booking Rylee again!”

“Tali had a great walk with Maggie! I appreciated that she came over to meet Tali earlier in the week before the walk and Tali loved her instantly. She was flexible with some time changes and kept me updated after the walk sharing lots of pictures. Will absolutely continue to have Maggie walk my pup!”

About: I love all dogs, but I've grown up taking care of primarily large dogs like Pitbulls. My neighbors rely on me very often to take care of their pets when needed. I currently have a very flexible schedule while I am going to college online. I am available during the week and some weekends! Pet care is already built into my daily routine, so please let me know how I can make your day easier by spending some time with your fur baby. During the walks your fur baby is my main focus. I love going for long walks to get some energy out, but short walks are also nice. I walk my sweet dog separately from other fur babies to alleviate the stress of dog introductions.
“Stacy, was great! I had her set up to walk my dog a few times a day while I was out of town. She took such good care of him and was super communicative. There were a few days were the weather way bad so she played inside with him and even cleaned my couch when he got mud on it!!! 5 star service! Will definitely be booking again”
“Guiselle took great care of Lola! She was prompt and very responsive and sent lots of photos. She also took Lola on different routes every walk which I’m sure made Lola very happy to have some new scenery to check out! We would use her again and highly recommend her!”

“Dominique was great with my two dogs. They loved him immediately. Dominique was very flexible when I had to add in a couple of additional walks due to work commitments. I would highly recommend him.”

“Anne did a wonderful job walking my dog, Greyson. She provided detailed updates and pictures after each walk and was really sweet and caring when interacting with Greyson. I’d highly recommend her and will definitely book her again.”

About: All my life, I’ve been around pets. Growing up, I raised 2 puppies of my own and was constantly walking dogs. Today, I have two cats of my own and have been taking care of cats for since college. While I was originally a “dog person,” I’ve grown to appreciate cats and finally understand them, recognizing each cat’s uniqueness. I primarily work from home and would love to take care of your pet, whether walking your dog or checking in on your cats. I’m flexible, reliable, and caring. I’m very flexible as I primarily work from home, and I am available to take care of your pet in the morning, afternoon, evenings, and late at night, on weekdays and weekends. I love catering to each pet and continuing their routines. Whether checking in on your cats or walking dogs, I’ll make sure to communicate with you for all the info needed to make your pet comfortable.
“Josephine is amazing walking our two doggies! They are a little tricky to deal with and she always takes the best care of them! One of our dog’s used to bark so much at her and now she has really calmed down because Josephine talks to her and pets her. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dog walker! :)”

“Lexi was great! This was our first Rover experience and Lexi took the time to come do a meet and greet prior to our first walk, which was great so she could meet our dog and chat through his quirks. :) She was very communicative, timely and left great notes and pics. Looking forward to booking with Lexi again soon!”

About: I’ve taken care of pets for a majority of my life. My friends and extended family rely on me when they go out of town. My family and I will always pick up (and house) any stray/lost dogs we see so I have experience with all types of dogs and breeds. Weekdays work best for me. My schedule is quite flexible. I deal with animals in my everyday life and i’m more than happy to meet more! I have one friendly cat and one energetic dog, with a big and spacious back yard for them. I myself am energetic so I can match any pet’s energy.
“Thea has been amazing with my dog, Elmo. He’s a bit hyper and she has been fantastic walking him, she’s consistent, and she is very communicative. Would recommend to anyone looking for a dog walker!”

“Anne has been a godsend since my return to the office 5 days a week. She is a great communicator and sends really cute photos. Highly recommend!”

“Lauren is an amazing dog walker! She connected with my dog immediately who is nervous around most people. Lauren is gentle and patient with my pup and always gives a detailed report of how she is doing. I really appreciate Lauren’s constant reliability and attentiveness!”

About: As a recent GW magna cum laude graduate and longtime resident of the DC-metro area, I have the ability and experience to provide quality care services to you and your beloved pet by maintaining a strong, balanced routine while you are away. As the former owner of a senior dog, I excel at meeting medication standards during feeding and scanning dogs for tics and other external-borne threats. As an NYC native, I have over 10 years of experience dog-walking in urban areas, especially in maintaining dog safety from foot and vehicle traffic. By combining a strong work (and play) ethic with a passionate love for all dogs, I am a safe bet to care for your canine companion! I’m currently living in the DC metro area after completing a BA at GWU. I will be headed to Ireland for graduate school in the fall, and until then, my schedule is completely free to care for your canine family! I live in a residential coop with a park and open green spaces for your dog to play off-leash (if trained). As a former collegiate athlete, I can reach any level of demanded exercise for your dog.
“We’ve been working with Jennifer for over a month now, and she has been absolutely amazing! She’s incredibly communicative and so flexible with my unpredictable schedule—I can book her a few days in advance, and she always accommodates. Since we just moved from Kansas, my dogs have had a tough time adjusting, especially one who has anxiety, but Jennifer handles them with such care and kindness. Both my girls are so comfortable with her—she’s truly a gem! I can’t recommend her enough!”

“Isabelle & Diego are amazing with our dog! She can be grumpy towards new people, and they’re always so patient with her and play with her! They’re very responsive, reliable, and amazing sitters! Will definitely use them again in the future :)”

Herme has been absolutely wonderful with my German Shepherd, Moose. From day one, he’s been reliable, caring, and incredibly communicative. I really appreciate the detailed updates and observations he shares after each walk—it gives me complete peace of mind knowing Moose is in such good hands. Moose clearly enjoys his time with Herme, and it’s obvious that Herme genuinely cares about the dogs he works with. I trust him completely and never hesitate to book him whenever I need someone to care for Moose. If you’re looking for someone dependable, attentive, and great with dogs, I can’t recommend Herme highly enough!
Ann is an exceptional dog walker. I have an elderly dog and Ann was very attuned to how she was feeling, how much she wanted to walk, and just followed her lead. Ann is a great communicator, sending me numerous pictures and written updates after each walk (three times a day). She is organized, friendly, is great with dogs, and makes sure everyone is on the same page. She coordinated with my cousin where my dog was staying. Rosie was very happy and relaxed when I went to pick her up.

Asher has been the best Rover experience I’ve ever had for one of my pets. He’s punctual, attentive, and truly cares for your pets like they are his own. Asher goes above and beyond for my girl, Rue. I just adopted her a couple months ago, so she is still getting used to her new environment. Asher is so patient and kind, and he gives me a thorough report every day as to how she does. I can’t recommend Asher enough! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
