About: I have many years of experience with dogs and cats with walking, drop-in visits, and in-home care. I've taken care of pets of various ages and needs, from energetic puppies to senior pets with particular needs. I find it especially important with drop-in visits to spend some quality time with pets, if their owners are comfortable with it. I've found it makes a great difference and helps curb their loneliness while their families are away! I am a recent graduate school alum and have a lot of free time in between my work. I am flexible most days to schedule visits throughout a day. It's important to respect every home I enter. This means not pushing a pet's trust and crossing the boundaries of their owner. With an owner's permission, I am happy to spend quality time with a pet while they are away, as I have found it helps them a lot through their absence. I'm comfortable giving oral medications with food and with following a pet's regimen/an owner's directions.

About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was 10 years old - whether it be my own, my neighbors, or my roommates and friends. My late grandma LOVED animals, growing up we had ducks and rabbits and birds (oh my!) and she definitely made sure that type of love lived on through me. I love providing warm and welcoming environments for all, leading me to be extremely organized and detail oriented. I’m currently working part-time, so I will have plenty of time to play with your furry friends! I’m available every day from 10 AM to 6 PM for walks and drop-ins, and can watch during the day my own home weekdays from 9 AM to 6 PM. I have an extremely clean, organized, warm and puppy-proofed house with Fillmore Park Trail right in my backyard, often taking my own dog for long walks on it! Long Branch Elementary School is also behind me, where I often take dogs to play on the fields there if they have anxiety in park spaces (bad experiences with other dogs). I frequently go to Shirlington dog park otherwise. If I am caring for your pet in your own home, I will tidy up the space as well if needed (I am a firm believer in respecting other peoples spaces and treating them better than my own).

I enjoy being outdoors and staying active, so walking dogs or caring for pets during that time fits perfectly into my schedule. I only offer pet care in the client’s home, where pets feel most comfortable and secure. I make sure to follow any specific routines or instructions provided, including feeding, walking, playtime, and any medications if needed. I also keep the environment clean and give pets plenty of attention and affection so they feel safe and cared for while their owners are away.

About: I have always had my family dog by my side. Since moving out and graduating from my university, I have been looking forward to joining this app to spend time with other dogs! I have fully open availability as I prepare to start my Master’s next spring! Until then, I am willing to come whenever walks are needed!
